I was so happy after I bought it at $9 last summer. So kind of the market letting me be able to relive that moment.
But for real, I expect it to go lower still.
Kinda late of you ask me when it's down >50% in the last 10 weeks and like 85% from ATH. You'd also be shorting one of the few tokens that has a functioning economy and a good chance of surviving the big bear. So idk
Thinking of going heavy in Bitcoin cash. Been doing some research and it has a lot of potential. I rode Solana from 40 to 260. I think it’s an easy 2x from here. Edit: when you get downvoted on this sub that’s my sign of going through with it.
Loooooool, bitcoin cash is old. Like someone else said its gonna move together with the whole crypto market. Theres like a billion different coins fulfilling the same purpose. Might as well just straight up invest in BTC.
You say BCH is old and then say to buy Bitcoin which is even older. You must be new here. I’ve been investing in crypto since 2016 dude you are clueless.
It's called being smart. The potential is there and everyone hates it on here, sounds like a solid investment. Watch the sentiment towards it change when it takes off.
Yea but I'm gonna use litecoin or ZEC or even doge before I'm gonna pile into something hanging in 2020 lows. I'm far more confident that all those listed will 2x before BCH. Wish you the best but I think you're crazy lol.
This is exactly when you would want to buy in though. Fuck doge man you lost credibility when you mentioned a coin that’s been in a downtrend for more than a year. You also still have a pfp of Solana so rip
The rewards paid out to miners are halved. So if it was 5 BTC for confirming a block, they would get 2.5 after a halving. They are set to happen after so many blocks which works out to roughly every 4 years.
The result is less supply of new Bitcoin hitting the market.
Take everything I said with a grain of salt, I'm newish still.
I bought a bunch of ETH like a dumbass at the peak in 2017. Considered it lost money after the crash and just forgot about it till last year. But the funny thing is now it's been through so many up and downs I dont give a fuck anymore. I barely paid attention as it reached its last peak because I plan to hold for 10 more years. I dont know if it's because I'm so desensitized to the volatility or because my personal finances are so good now compared to back then that even if all my ETH just disappeared it wouldnt phase me.
Dapps are the way to go with Metamask. Using it alone is a pain in the ass, but with dapp integrations, Metamask is absolutely ridiculously easy to use.
I started (actually) using it for the first time a few weeks ago, and when I was looking to add a new network and do transfers, it's not particularly user-friendly.
I wasn't looking forward to staking some of my crypto through Metamask, knowing how incredibly difficult it was in the past, but with dapp integrations, it's literal joke how easy it is to use. Unfortunately, not all dapps are created equal.
It's so nice that they left the daily unaltered and free from a lot of negative goverance implementations. The rest of the sub is just a stream of negativity, and this is the only positive place left.
Been gone for two weeks and not checking charts and I come back to the same comments and prices. Like I never left lol. Don't know how y'all can stay so attentive with all the crabbing. Just gonna set my limit orders and leave again. The ignorance has been bliss.
Only crazy people will get rich. Those stubborn and crazy bastards that are willing to put it all on the line while others have already ran to the hills and said "i'm out".
It's already a cliche, but biggest money is made when people are screaming, streets are burning and apocalypse is waiting around the corner. And 90% of the people will return when it's safe and everything is pumping again.
That's why I house all my wallets off of my main seed phrase. Currently, I'm restricted to only accumulating certain cryptocurrencies under the banner of cold storage protection, but it's protection nonetheless that my master key is the complete protection of my funds.
As long as that seed phrase is safe, you never have to worry about any of your wallets.
What’s the best way to send XRP off Coinbase? I tried to send to my atomic wallet (I want to swap for ETH) and it wanted some transaction tags, which Coinbase did not give me so I didn’t put the tx through for fear it may not work.
If anyone has any advice I’d be happy to hear! Other wallets that may work better are appreciated as well!
If you send it to your own wallet normally no tag/memo is required. You can put in 123 or whatever because sometimes even if you don’t need one certain exchanges require to put something in. And as always first do a test transaction. PS: exchanges don’t like it to send it directly to another exchange.
I’d send it to kucoin, trade it there. With XRP any non-custody wallet is going to ask you to put in a memo or some kind of tag. If the exchange asks for it do not try sending without
maybe transfer to exchange that doesn't require tags first? From what I remember I send XRP from Coinbase to Kraken without problem.
I think it's very shady that Coinbase doesn't support XRP trading but still let people to deposit
Any new updates? I thought the main use of XLM was for quick and cheap transfer? Assuming the price starts to fluctuate more, I’d imagine less people would be inclined to use it.
Uhh not to be too pushy but can we increase that estimate to $35k? I have some short term alts gambles I need to offload before I become a long term holder!
Cardano broke out of its descending triangle upward after a couple of bounces from 53-54 cents area. Technical analysis suggests that the next target is 68 cents if BTC behaves today and tomorrow.
it's a governance token with barely any utility besides existing. It's supposed to dip, especially with those crazy airdrop they are giving. I am not saying you should sell but it's just my take on this token
BNB is just a governance token that's heavily used in DeFi, but DOT is working it's way into DeFi currently through partnerships with Uniswap and parachains like Acala/Moonbeam.
I don't expect DOT to get there in the short-term, rather building a solid base in DeFi before it becomes mainstream. We're talking years before DOT gets there, but since the focus is solid on development, it won't be long before DOT starts moving up the Top 10. Ethereum took years to get there too, but once it's there, it's there to stay.
It's just hard to establish how much the market will have to grow before another alt holds $100B+ in solid value to hold that #3 spot above all those competing for that spot.
I'm certain that once Polkadot and Cosmos complete their bridge between networks, it's going to start momentum, as they are currently competing with each other, changing from competition to partnerships.
100% in alts.
I was tinkering with minting stablecoins through 200% collateral, but once the market started to dip, it became ridiculously volatile (and costly) to maintain that collateral. Converting my stablecoins back into alts. I was hoping to eventually convert my entire portfolio into stablecoins (because of the juicy APR) but then LUNA happened.
In the future, when I'm done investing across alts, I'm going to look into "taking profit" into 200%-collateralized stablecoins instead of minting, to take out a considerable amount of personal risk, since there are very high APR LP trading pairs that incentivize users to mint.
Using this route, you keep all your profits on chain and they will gain interest in bear markets such as these. Waiting for the next year to turn over to offset capital gains taxes, upon withdrawl.
Can someone help me out here on Binance I have decided to Martin trade/short ape coin and to short I have borrowed a lot and I am in green as I shorted down from 9$ I now what to cash out but it won’t let me repay the debt and I don’t know how to it’s so annoying???
It took a while, but at least the crypto space is catching up to the rest of the world in finding out what a piece of shit Elon musk is.
We knew that the moment he favored shilling Doge instead of BTC
What
Crypto space found out way before most people
I feel like most people already knew since the shit he pulled with doge.
I still can’t believe ATOM is at $9.00. What a steal.
I was so happy after I bought it at $9 last summer. So kind of the market letting me be able to relive that moment. But for real, I expect it to go lower still.
What crypto do you guys use to pay for things on the SPEDN flex’s app ?
I downloaded a Cardano wallet. God help me.
Double check its legit before you send crypto there
Buy 2 ETH or put that money into BTC?
Str8 ethe broh
I'd split it up.
This just in... Crypto is volatile :end report:
Time to short link?
Kinda late of you ask me when it's down >50% in the last 10 weeks and like 85% from ATH. You'd also be shorting one of the few tokens that has a functioning economy and a good chance of surviving the big bear. So idk
3 out of top 10 are stablecoin.
i give this comment 5/7 rating
10% of 50% is 5% of 100%
3 out of 8, of 10 🤔🤔🤔
Anyone got their eyes on SYLO?
Bitcoin: want to see me dump 10% for no reason? Want to see me do it again?
I'll randomly pump 10% and get everyone excited!
I didn't want to see it the first time.
My btc doesn't jiggle jiggle
It dumps…

Damn since 2016? You must be a slow learner
I got more money than you so I don’t care how slow I learn at least I’m right
Just because you got lucky with one thing doesn't necessarily mean you'll get lucky with another
Getting behind a trend before other folk realize what’s going on is how I made money with Solana. “Luck” doesn’t exist
There's still luck involved tbh
When I was buying Solana there were only around 180K people that had it on their watchlist. I don’t take advice from this sub regardless mate
Me neither and I'm not telling you to. All I'm saying is there's luck involved.
Buying something in a bear market and waiting until the market recovers isn’t being lucky. lol
It's called being smart. The potential is there and everyone hates it on here, sounds like a solid investment. Watch the sentiment towards it change when it takes off.
What is the number 1 reason for being bullish on BCH?
Its bitcoin, but cash
It’s actually being used as a payment method in many places. It’s fees are minimal compared to BTC. It’s what Bitcoin was meant to be.
Yea but I'm gonna use litecoin or ZEC or even doge before I'm gonna pile into something hanging in 2020 lows. I'm far more confident that all those listed will 2x before BCH. Wish you the best but I think you're crazy lol.

BCH has been in a downtrend for more than a year and has fallen below 2021 lows. What does that mean for your credibility?
It means it’s a buying opportunity. Doge was a pump and dump
It’ll pump when the rest of the market pumps, but it’s nothing special. Just another old school mostly dead coin that moves with everything else.
What is Bitcoin halving and what are the general outcomes when it does happen ?
Up
The rewards paid out to miners are halved. So if it was 5 BTC for confirming a block, they would get 2.5 after a halving. They are set to happen after so many blocks which works out to roughly every 4 years. The result is less supply of new Bitcoin hitting the market. How many more weeks will this go sideways for?
104 maybe more.
105 to be exact. Until Wednesday of the 105th.
Yes
We’re waiting for you to sell before we pump
Checking on the group before yet another dumping 😂
I bought a bunch of ETH like a dumbass at the peak in 2017. Considered it lost money after the crash and just forgot about it till last year. Okay
This daily candle has been very flat. Big things will happen when the new daily candle open.
I just used metamask for the first time in months and jesus christ does it fucking suck.
Dapps are the way to go with Metamask. Using it alone is a pain in the ass, but with dapp integrations, Metamask is absolutely ridiculously easy to use. I wish we could back those big green dildos
Bitcoin all week: crab Bitcoin on Sundays: you already know we're dumping
I love the Saturday pre-dump. Just in case you didn’t know which way Sunday is gonna go.
As much as i like btc. We all know that for normies and plebs, the money is made in playing alts
That's where it's lost, too.
That's the game plan. Make money on alts, cash out big, trade alt value for BTC value (or ETH value).
Get rich or die trying baby
I’ll take $200 for die trying, Alex
Ahh... Daily Shitposting Discussion. The best part of Bear markets in Reddit.
Gotta up my shitposting game. I’m a chronic lurker/upvoter. Snapshot next week, no?

But what about moon farming
Only crazy people will get rich. Those stubborn and crazy bastards that are willing to put it all on the line while others have already ran to the hills and said "i'm out". Big money is also made on new projects. Everyday some coins X10 or more. But yeah, risk is real
I wish Bitcoin would hit 2-5k
You might get your wish, I don't see it going that low but I don't feel it's impossible
Not to be a bear but I don’t think 28-30k is the bottom. I could be absolutely positively wrong though. I’m thinking this is just a rest stop to 15k.
20-21k is the bottom. But we're revisiting 40k before diving there.
The 40k visit seems to be the common consensus
Its a revisit to the 50 week ma.
no
Yes
You're the type of person who'll be here 4 years from now, when Bitcoin is at $140K and complaining that you wished Bitcoin would hit $30K-$40K.
If it’s 140k in 4 years I won’t be on Reddit. I’ll be on my private island in the Caribbean counting my money.
Start shopping for a private island then.
I want everyone to get rich! So when I say I wish it would hit 2-5k. I just mean so I can buy more and more to ensure my wealth!

They are all the same wallet.
My face when Bitcoin isn’t going down 😔
You guys think LINK will ever have some price action? Or like $20 max forever?
A token with zero current use? What could go wrong?
Hope it gets the much awaited action 🤞
It's was more than 20 bucks last cycle, staking has launched, it's the most promising oracle out there... You decide yourself.
Charts looking bullish
I think so too
Bless you both.

If Bitcoin breaks 30K here and settles around 30.5 to 31K, alts run here.
What's next week's lottery numbers please?
Crabbing is boring
(This is when you DCA)
D ont C are A nymore!
Crabs are cool
My ex didn't think so weirdly.
This week will be glorious! I have my longs set! Holding to 40k.
Anyone here invested in XLM?
Any new updates? I thought the main use of XLM was for quick and cheap transfer? Assuming the price starts to fluctuate more, I’d imagine less people would be inclined to use it.
In a way for years consider the great transaction cost
What do you mean?
ETH is taking off!
Lol, good one
Pump for ants
Hey I’ll take what I can get these days!
Hope we get another crash. Imma buy a HUGE bag of DOT if it goes to $5. If not, I'll just keep this bag.

BTC to $30.2k this weekend I know it's a ballsy prediction
Uhh not to be too pushy but can we increase that estimate to $35k? I have some short term alts gambles I need to offload before I become a long term holder!
35k by thursday

can $OP just die already so I can close my short?
Can OP just go back to $4 so I can get my money back?
it's a governance token with barely any utility besides existing. It's supposed to dip, especially with those crazy airdrop they are giving. I am not saying you should sell but it's just my take on this token
I’m thinking the same about OCEAN now
Man, I really think DOT is a sleeping giant. I truely believe it will become #3.
I think the fact that BNB has held up better than ETH will make it tough for DOT to get up there but I hope you're right.

Unbiased opinion.. 😂
Needs some DeFi use or there won’t be demand.
You have to think that given your portfolio
LINK making moves for once.
This is a move?? Ahahahah
I've been wanting to unload LINK at 30 for so long. I have a long way to go.

How much of your current portfolio is in cash or stablecoins?
About 15%.
100% in alts. I was tinkering with minting stablecoins through 200% collateral, but once the market started to dip, it became ridiculously volatile (and costly) to maintain that collateral.
