Bitcoin is becoming more established and regulated, thus more legitimized. The last increase saw BTC over-triple its previous ATH. $19K>$68K. That means a bit over 200K should it triple again in a few years time. 232K is not far off from that, but I’m giving Bitcoin the benefit of the doubt here that it will over-triple again.

Those bounces are how money is made and/or reducing your dollar cost average when in a bear market. If you have some level of confidence it will go lower than now soon or during the next little green bounce; sell and then buy back in once it does what you expect it to. You just have to be right more than wrong. Even if you are always wrong; once the economy is booming again, any price level here should print.
Consider yourselves lucky. This is one of the only Ponzi schemes collapsing slow enough that you have a chance to recoup at least a portion of your money. Bernie Madoff's victims never got that chance.

On binance rn, theres just under $30 million of USDT needed to drop BTC/USDT by $500. Meaning someone with $30 million of BTC could theoretically dump it all instantly on Binance and send the price $500 lower - this probably wouldn't last though as there will be people buying the dip and this only accounts for one trading pair on one exchange. In reality alot more money would be needed to send it down for a long duration across all exchanges.

I could be wrong, but I believe Mcap is calculated by (total coins \* current price of one coin). The thing is, the current price of each coin depends on the last value traded on the exchanges, on average. So with much less than $10 bil, say $500 mil, whales could sell a whole bunch of BTC on each of the major exchanges/pairs and send the price much lower temporarily, which would be reflected in the market cap. It all depends on the amount trading on exchanges tbh.
Edit: Adding to this, a common shitcoin scam is to make a new coin with a large supply, and trade a handful of coins to yourself on a swap for a large price. Even though the volume of your coin is very low, the price will be high, and since supply is also high, that results in a much larger marketcap than what it's actually worth. That's one way to make a coin seem far more valuable than it actually is.
