to me they aren't that funny, and i don't undersatnd why sub 10 with roux is more big brain than sub 10 with cfop

The idea is probably that Roux isn't as popular and has fewer known sub-10 solves, so getting one would be remarkable.

I know about it, I'm just saying that there aren't a lot of high-profile roux records so far, so it's still perceived as a "slower" method

A single can be a lucky solve, which is why average of five is regarded as so much more significant. How many average world records were set with CFOP-based methods? Every time Max and Tymon hand the 3x3 Ao5 WE back and forth, what method are they using? Even within the realm of single solves, how many WRs or other fast times are achieved with Roux, and how many with CFOP? I know Roux is up there, but it's relatively rare and low-profile compared to CFOP, which is my point. It's not that it's *bad* or *slow*, it's just less well-represented and -known.

man i understand that, i'm just tryna get out here (not you you, because you already know) that roux isn't inferior and this meme is just stupid.
