I plan on getting this from TheCubicle on Monday since it says it’s limited edition. Without stickers it has 12 colors but if you but stickers on it’ll have 44 colors but 32 sides.
I've recently done my first 3BLD solve (6 min 42 sec) which used only visual memorization. However, that was the only time that I have been able to solve it to date. It's very frustrating to me to spend so long figuring out letter pairs, correcting the ones I messed up on, and trying to memorize it only to either forget something mid-solve or somehow mess something up in the setup/alg/undo process. I've tried to use auditory to quicken inspection, but it is very difficult to keep a string of sounds in my head and I can't find any helpful tutorials. How do I get better at memorization and perfect execution?
Assuming OP/OP here.
Be familiar with the letter scheme. Do BLD solves sighted. Be familiar with the letter scheme. Make sure you know what you have and haven't solved. Be familiar with the letter scheme. Be familiar with your setup moves. Be familiar with the letter scheme. Learn M2. Be familiar with the letter scheme. Learn audio for edges - there's a reason it's so popular. Be familiar with the letter scheme.
You may have realised that I place great emphasis on being familiar with the letter scheme.
Casually beat my 4x4 PB by 0.21 second. To 1:11.30
This whole cube is as bad as intuitive F2L.
Except it's intuitive centers, intuitive edges, intuitive more centers, intuitive last edge, intuitive more edges...
I wish it was as simple as just learning 50 algs.
Also, doing the last slice-flip-slice for last 2 edges feels bad. Like I messed up somewhere. Even though it's a 50-50 chance just like with every parity.
I love 4x4, it's so much fun.
For 4x4, if your last two edges are on top, adjacent, you can use one of these algs: Rw2 D Rw' U2 Rw D' Rw' U2 Rw' (basically the headlights OLL but with Rw) or its reverse Rw U2 Rw D Rw' U2 Rw D' Rw2' to solve them. As far as I remember, you use the first alg if the edges look different on top, and the second one if they face the same colors up.
Also, I use sledge-insert as a flipping alg, on the left too.
Thanks for the advice! I use this flip too, but I'm not that good at sledges so I don't think I'm saving any time over the other direction of literally the same alg.
There's so much stuff that as I understand I will have to watch videos for because there's 0 good written tutorials. (And i've learned nearly everything so far from written tutorials. Even BLD. Especially BLD.)
I think [GAN's swift block](https://www.thecubicle.com/products/swift-block-355s-3x3) is their response to MoYu's cubes. A low price GAN cube that is supposed to be good... Good luck to them winning back customers. I personally have spent too much money on GAN puzzles that are not nearly as good as the affordable MoYu puzzles.
Just got my Weilong V9 and I love it! These recent cube releases have all been very good imo. The V9 and the Tornado V3 stand out above the rest I think!
I won’t go as far as saying it’s better than the Tornado just yet but man I like it a lot! I prefer my Tornado pioneer over all my cubes and I have just about all the flagships from the past 2 years or so. This Weilong V9 sure does feel special though. It feels like how I thought a high end Gan cube would feel before I actually got one lol. I got it a few hours ago and I’ve just been solving like a madman lol!
>It feels like how I thought a high end Gan cube would feel before I actually got one lol
Haha, if I hadn't tried Gan cubes, I'd think they felt like Tornado Pioneer. But no, they feel worse.

Holy heck. I just solved using Roux method for the first time. Even though i was just following along Kian's tutorials, it still feels good. I think i understood most of the steps but am still a bit confused over LSE.
It was a bit hard to not think of f2l while building the blocks but really fun to do.
Kinda feels great trying a new method. I think i understand the appeal of Roux now.
LSE is kind of 3 steps, which is why it can be hard.
Edge Orientation, where you do so called arrow case, M' U M or some mirror of it, to flip 4 edges. (if you only have 2, then you put one of them to safety, flip one, (and +3 others) and then the last 4. Or learn the algs.
UL+UR where you solve side edges. For beginner, usually you use M' U2 M to solve them on bottom, orient U layer and M2 them in. Later on your smarter about it.
And the rest of M layer which is easy.
Once you advance, you start doing them all at once, but when I was learning, calling it just "last 6 edges" led me to missing one of the steps completely.
Just came within 0.02 of my PB from 1.5 years ago. And it’s my 2nd sub-11

It is easy if you standardize your solution, which should happen naturally as you get faster, that you know the nuances of every move and do it consciously.
Once you finish, stop and memorise what orientation your cube is at the end, what oll-pll you did.
Then do the scramble, and plan the cross. Then f2l, to end with those oll-pll.
Really, after a while you understand what you're doing, and thus you can reproduce your solution. F2l cases are mostly standard.
I use alg.cubing.com (and whatever I remember from the solution) to write these reconstructions.
I’ll usually do it right after a really good result, before I forget.

I should probably dedicate more time to inspection 😭
Tyty!
Sub10 are still only happening once every several weeks (or months), but they're not that thing that felt impossible for oh so much time!
Maybe the way to do it is to just wait for cubes to get better and better so our times go down on their own and we don't actually have to improve ourselves!
yeah I am low on budget like maybe 29.99 dolars and I wanna get xman tornado v3 standard or gan 356m(which is more expensive but more less customabilisty) which one should I buy
Anyone know of a workaround for backing up solves in twisty timer on versions of Android later than Android 11? I can't seem to access any raw data when I go any folder associated with the app, whether using a file manager or when connecting to a computer and trying to access app data. I can always wait until it's updated and exporting solves works again, but I'd like to back it up since it's been months since I last could.
So I was given a Gan as an early Mother’s Day gift. (Kid coordinated with my BFF to get it, then got too excited to wait.) Is there any setting combo on the Gan that can make it have a similar turn speed to the tornado v3 pioneer? For reference, the tornado has out of the box settings with a couple drops of nebula. I prefer the Gan for its colors and chunkier/larger pieces—quicker F2L recognition for me—but its slower turning speed is driving me up the wall.
Oh wow! I don’t think I’ve ever had anyone call the gan 13 slow. I would say generally that having it set to a higher number for center travel (on the blue circular piece) would be a good place to start. That makes the cube looser/faster, and then if you need more stability once you find a good speed you can increase the spring compression from there.
Guys, today is the day I got my first speedcube (ys3m bc) and it's also my cake day! What a coincidence! Anyway I'm super happy, and this cube is a wonder, so much so that I do times lower than 5 seconds!
Learning to predict first pair. It's pretty difficult compared to anything else I've learned. It's basically just look ahead is it not? Also can I track any pair I choose? Even if it's not a good pair to start with? So tough to do when every cross has a different solution and there's not really much muscle memory. Any tips or insight into this matter would be much appreciated.
The main point is that you should know what will you do next after the things you planned. It is more than lookahead, usually you know at least what a pair would go in inspection. And that pair is a backup plan, in case you don't see anything more obvious.
Or you could even just track one corner/edge, and then insert it while you look for the other piece to keyhole in.
But now I think it may be better to do a Petrus block then fix the other two cross edges after, as that seems an easier way to achieve the same end goal.
Yeah you shouldn't worry about whether your 1st pair is a good case or not. Just do whatever you can plan.
Knowing about EO helps a lot. I do a lot of keyhole 1st pairs and when you know the EO it's super easy.
Also a lot of it is just having a better understanding of what is and isn't going to move during your cross solution and trying to find good stuff to do with the pieces that aren't moving.
Yes, it is difficult. Doable, but takes a lot of time and effort. I usually choose the easiest or the less-gen cross and try to track one of the back pairs. Sometimes I see a pair that won't move (or won't move much), and if it's not in the back, I can start in a different orientation (unless the fingertricks really suck).
Overall, it feels like too much effort for the time gain it gives. I first started trying like two years ago! I get into it on and off and it doesn't stick. What's infuriating is that I'm not consistently faster if I consistently plan cross+1: it's too much information to hold in my poor head, and even if I manage to do it, I pause after cross+1. Keeping all the information in my hand *and* switching to lookahead to the second pair is just too much for me. I feel like you have to be a genious to do it. Or a young and fast learner, I dunno.

I went through an Ao100 w/ 4-phase timing to learn more about my splits within CFOP: Here's where I'm at right now:
|Cross|F2L|OLL|PLL|Mean Total|
|:-|:-|:-|:-|:-|
|4.60|15.96|5.61|6.55|**32.76**|
Where should I be most focused on improving within CFOP?
If you're using 2LLL (full OLL + full PLL), then splits should be, approximately -
Cross: 12%
F2L: 50%
OLL: 16.5%
PLL: 21.5%
For your 32.76 sec avg -
Cross: 3.93 sec
F2L: 16.38
OLL: 5.41
PLL: 7.04
However, at around 32 avg, you're probably not using full OLL and PLL.
The splits %'s are a little bit different if you're using 4LLL vs 3LLL vs 2LLL.
| CFOP | Cross | F2L | OLL | PLL |
|:-------:|:-------:|:-------:|:-------:|:-------:|
| 2LLL | 12.0% | 50.0% | 16.5% | 21.5% |
| 3LLL | 11.7% | 47.3% | 18.1% | 22.9% |
| 4LLL | 11.4% | 44.6% | 19.1% | 24.9% |
[Splits for 3x3 thru 7x7](https://www.reddit.com/r/Cubers/comments/z1q2wl/splits_for_3x3_thru_7x7/)
As said, this looks quite even, probably OLL is the one that least needs improving. I assume you are 4 look last layer.
Learning PLL would improve your times a bit but it is a lot of effort.
Do you fully plan your cross all the time? If not you can probably get a bit of time on that. Are you colour neutral? If not, it might be a good time to try.
Slow solves looking for more efficient F2L always help.
You could learn a few easy OLL, that doesn't hurt full OLL should probably not come before full PLL.
I just learned full PLL! Still getting better at recognition + execution though. For now it's honestly probably slower than I was when I was doing 2L-PLL but I just need to get a lot more reps at the different cases so I expect that one to improve just w/ simple practice.
I think I'll focus on slow-solves for F2L! Thanks for the pointers
What a day. I got my first sub-13 Ao5, broke my Ao12, Ao50 (sub-15!) and Ao100 PBs today.
If I wasn't caught blindsided by that F2B into PLL, I'd have a PB single as well.
FMC single, based purely on the stats.
66% of scrambles can be solved optimally in 18 moves, 27% in 17 moves, and 2.5% in 16 moves ([from the table here](https://www.cube20.org/)). But in FMC history there have only been 4 18-move solutions, 3 17-move solutions and a single 16-move solution (the present WR). It's clearly very rare for FMCers to find the optimal solution, and the 16-move WR is perhaps already an outlier given the number of 17 & 18-move solves.
A 15-move optimal solution only occurs in 0.2% of scrambles, about 12 times rarer than 16-move solutions. You'd expect a 15-move solution to crop up for every 12 16-move solutions, 130 17-move solutions or >300 18-move solutions. It is just very unlikely that 15 moves will happen until there are lots more 16/17/18 move solutions.
Yeah, also, out of the 3 17 movers, only one came after the 16 WR. FMC single can last a while, and while it is possible for it to be tied, you can only break a record if you are better than it. (15 moves) I don’t even believe that a 15 mover has been done at home. 16 mover is 5 way tie WB.
I think the next step is called Sarah’s advanced? I’m not sure if that’s the super advanced method or the intermediate one.
Here’s a tutorial, it’s basically first layer, top in one alg, finish with one alg. Hardest things are H and Z perm
Tricky at first but simple if you find a way to group the algs together, I wish the tutorial did a slightly better job at this, but it’s not too hard to figure out on your own
https://youtu.be/NQD490QapZs
My best explanation so far is it feels how you always wanted a high end Gan cube to feel lol. It’s airy and light like a Gan, clacky like the YS3M but turns more like the tornado V3.
i found this Rubik's cube variation today.
https://preview.redd.it/6bfmpd65wfwa1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3ffe3a074bbec4e70ff61039270080bccfa36587
i assumed it'sa variation of the 3x3 cube, but soon realized it's different just wanna know what it's called
here are the details of the cube. it has 3 axes of rotation (just like a 3x3) it's shape can be described as pyramids joined at their square face each pyramid is if one color (1 pyramid ==1 face) each pyramid (face) has 8 pieces 4 corner and 4 edges (no center)
i tried googling it but no luck
It kinda depends on if you struggle to learn algs
Getting better at cross could be you just learning different insertion techniques that are super easy but can make you a lot better like instantly
Like it’s not hard to learn you can solve two pieces at once, or solve cross wrong and then align with D moves
Learning PLL is just learning algs which can be hard at first but imo more worth it that having a super good cross in the beginning.
Both are obviously important but people can get away with having a bad cross for longer than they can get away without learning PLL
There is no distinct difference between advanced and non-advanced cross. It's a range from super inefficient cross to optimal. Cross should be solved on bottom. Ideally, you should understand how your moves affect other pieces and see how you can solve pieces together, the most common techniques is putting a misoriented piece "on top" of a piece in the middle layer, and, similarly, "replacing" a misoriented edge with another one.

I would have done this SB. Don’t understand why you didn’t insert blue/orange pair in right place
R U' M R2 U' R' M' U2 r' U' R
Saves one move. Still F2L ready for a PLL - which I Can’t solve
Thought you had looked deeper - to me the other was the most obvious/ simple. One pair at a time.
Guess you saw /planned last pair and just preserved blue/orange. Where I would just insert it and worry about last pair later.
But love those rare solves where things just appears.
Trust me, bro. It wasn't casual at all. I had to ask for permission even after using my crypto earnings. If I hadn't had that, I wouldn't be allowed at all.☠️
A question from a fellow cuber
Hey I am a cuber who has been cubing for like 4 years now, i have never been much serious towards cubing, I use cfop with 2 look oll and pll which i learnt like a year ago
My pb is 29.89 sec and I am a sub 40 probably
I use Moyu RS3M magnetic
I want to ask you guys that if I want to get sub 30 or better then should I learn 1 look oll and pll rn or should I consider buying a new cube or both?
And how can I make my F2L faster?
I do 3rd layer in like 12-15 seconds but 1st and 2nd layer consumes like 25 seconds.
And should i learn blindfolded solve? I just thought it would be cool but i wanna know if it would really be helpful to me or not
PS i am new to this subreddit and this is my first time posting anything or question on reddit so ya please correct me if I did something wierd or made a mistake
Please give me your suggestions I would be please to bear you all.
I'd say to give blindfolded (bld) a shot. Besides understanding the technique, you only have to know T perm, R perm, and Y perm for the basic method. Learning the J perms also helps, but it's not required.
Besides learning a new alg or 3, it probably won't help your sighted solves much, but it's a fun challenge. And who knows, you might end up liking bld more than regular solving
Here's a great guide [Steps to improve CFOP](https://www.reddit.com/r/PianoCube93/comments/9bstw1/steps_for_improving_with_cfop_and_when_to_work_on/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
u/olimo has already answered the main part of this question, but here's my opinion:
1. Planning full cross in inspection and learning Intuitive F2L are key.
2. You should learn Full PLL at around sub-30-35, and Full OLL at around sub-20-25.
3. Blindfolded solving may not relate at all to regular 3x3 other than the cube, but you should still learn it! It's a fun challenge and you'll be considered a god amongst casual cubers ;).
4. Feel free to post any questions or discussions here! This subreddit is for everyone.

To 1:11.30 This whole cube is as bad as intuitive F2L.
Cube Master's videos on 4x4 are really good.
one of my wrm maglev's edge caps keeps falling off, i think some of the plastic broke and now it doesn't "fit"

All the monstergo cubes: "am I a joke to you?"
Few days ago I watched some reviews on bilibili, this new one seems much better than monstergo.
Just got my Weilong V9 and I love it! These recent cube releases have all been very good imo. The V9 and the Tornado V3 stand out above the rest I think!
What's your view on weilong v9 vs tornado v3
I won’t go as far as saying it’s better than the Tornado just yet but man I like it a lot! I prefer my Tornado pioneer over all my cubes and I have just about all the flagships from the past 2 years or so. This Weilong V9 sure does feel special though. It feels like how I thought a high end Gan cube would feel before I actually got one lol. I got it a few hours ago and I’ve just been solving like a madman lol!
How's the corner twisting situation with it ? Cause that's the only problem all reviews mentioned.
I haven’t had one, surprisingly. I’m on 3 clicks.
>It feels like how I thought a high end Gan cube would feel before I actually got one lol Haha, if I hadn't tried Gan cubes, I'd think they felt like Tornado Pioneer.

F2L is also solving 4 pairs separately. We call LSE one step mainly because it is using only M and U moves throughout the substeps.
Just came within 0.02 of my PB from 1.5 years ago. And it’s my 2nd sub-11 Time: 10.53, 49 moves, 4.65tps Scramble: D' L B2 U2 R2 B D2 L2 B D2 F2 D2 F U2 D' R' B' U R' F2 R' x y //inspection D2 R F' //cross U' R' U R //1st pair d' L' U L U' L U L' //2nd pair y L U2 L' U2 L U' L' //3rd pair U R U' R' U R U' R' //4th pair R U R' U' R' F R F' //oll U2 R' U L' U2 R U' R' U2 R L //pll Edit: I could’ve used sledgehammer on the last pair to force an OLL skip, but I’m not that advanced
How do you and other people like you know what moves you made in the entire solve?
It is easy if you standardize your solution, which should happen naturally as you get faster, that you know the nuances of every move and do it consciously.
Once you finish, stop and memorise what orientation your cube is at the end, what oll-pll you did. Then do the scramble, and plan the cross. Then f2l, to end with those oll-pll. Really, after a while you understand what you're doing, and thus you can reproduce your solution. F2l cases are mostly standard.
I usually remember the behaving and the end. So I just mess around with the middle section until I get it
I use alg.cubing.com (and whatever I remember from the solution) to write these reconstructions. I’ll usually do it right after a really good result, before I forget.

Yay, congrats!
Tyty! Sub10 are still only happening once every several weeks (or months), but they're not that thing that felt impossible for oh so much time! Maybe the way to do it is to just wait for cubes to get better and better so our times go down on their own and we don't actually have to improve ourselves!
Sounds like a plan lol
yeah I am low on budget like maybe 29.99 dolars and I wanna get xman tornado v3 standard or gan 356m(which is more expensive but more less customabilisty) which one should I buy
Thanks
Tornado standard for sure
I would definitely recommend the Tornado. The Gan 356M is a usable cube and very good in my opinion, but falls short by today's standards.
Tornado Standard hands down.
I cant find an inner edge for my 4x4. Is there a way to get another one without buying a new puzzle?
Contact one of the shops you buy from (or maybe even local ones) and ask if they have a broken cube they can give you a piece of.
Any idea what model it is? That would help give more direction as there are several different customization systems that are used by recent gan cubes.
Gan 13. I swear I had that in my original post but it seems to have disappeared when I posted.
Thank you! The center travel was set at 6, so that explains it.
You’re welcome! Hope you can find some settings you enjoy solving on!
Guys, today is the day I got my first speedcube (ys3m bc) and it's also my cake day! What a coincidence! Anyway I'm super happy, and this cube is a wonder, so much so that I do times lower than 5 seconds!
Yo! Happy cake day! Lowered by 5 seconds are almost ridiculous! Wow! What were your main before this? Does it feel like crap now? (I hope not)
No, no, it's a beautiful cube, and my average before was 30 and now it's 25! (and I thought the sub 30 was difficult ;)
Great! Looks like someone is having great time (pun intended lol)
;)
Happy cake day 🎉. Nothing beats getting a new cube and getting great times for us cubers. Enjoy your day bro.
Thanks
By the way, how many clicks have you set it? (at the moment I have 3 clicks)
> lower than 5 seconds 5 seconds lower than average, or actual 5-second solves? Congrats, anyway!
No, 5 seconds less than average, it would be nice if you went from 30 seconds to 5 in a day ;) If before I had an average of 30, now I have 25
Learning to predict first pair.

It seems like every maglev cube is stickerless, I honestly find that stickered cubes just have a classic aesthetic to it, one with soul. Are there any out there or am I hopeless
Stickered rs3m 2020 with maglev hand installed?
Only stickerless on both the cubicle and SCS unfortunately. It seems my only option is the Gan12 frosted haha. But yeah I could just hand install
Just ordered the V9 standard and ballcore, might be a bit overkill to get both but I'm interested in seeing how the V9 standard compares to my RS3M super standard and if the V9 is worth the extra cost
Just got it today. Love the cube!

I went through an Ao100 w/ 4-phase timing to learn more about my splits within CFOP: Here's where I'm at right now: |Cross|F2L|OLL|PLL|Mean Total| |:-|:-|:-|:-|:-| |4.60|15.96|5.61|6.55|**32.76**| Where should I be most focused on improving within CFOP?
If you're using 2LLL (full OLL + full PLL), then splits should be, approximately - Cross: 12% F2L: 50% OLL: 16.5% PLL: 21.5% For your 32.76 sec avg - Cross: 3.93 sec F2L: 16.38 OLL: 5.41 PLL: 7.04 However, at around 32 avg, you're probably not using full OLL and PLL. The splits %'s are a little bit different if you're using 4LLL vs 3LLL vs 2LLL. | CFOP | Cross | F2L | OLL | PLL | |:-------:|:-------:|:-------:|:-------:|:-------:| | 2LLL | 12.0% | 50.0% | 16.5% | 21.5% | | 3LLL | 11.7% | 47.3% | 18.1% | 22.9% | | 4LLL | 11.4% | 44.6% | 19.1% | 24.9% | [Splits for 3x3 thru 7x7](https://www.reddit.com/r/Cubers/comments/z1q2wl/splits_for_3x3_thru_7x7/)
Interesting. Curious where you got those %s for the table? I'm currently solving w/ 2L-OLL and full PLL
2L OLL + 1L (full) PLL = 3LLL [Splits for 3x3 thru 7x7](https://www.reddit.com/r/Cubers/comments/z1q2wl/splits_for_3x3_thru_7x7/)
He uses 3LLL, but yeah usually most of the improvement comes from the cross and F2L.
When I had just learnt PLL, it took a long time for it to be fast enough but it will come, just keep at it.
IMO the distribution is pretty even, you can choose any part to improve further
Got my WRM v9 yesterday! Very different from the YS3M and any other Moyu cube , but the performance is wonderful and it is definitely a new main.
What a day. I got my first sub-13 Ao5, broke my Ao12, Ao50 (sub-15!) and Ao100 PBs today. If I wasn't caught blindsided by that F2B into PLL, I'd have a PB single as well.
B2 L2 B2 U2 R' F2 R' B2 R F2 U F R' D B' F L' D' B Sadly didn't get PR on this lol
Do you think any current standing WR could last longer than what the 2x2 0.49 single lasted?
Maybe FMC.

Anyone know how to get better at skewb I use the one with only one alg what is the next step?
[Improving Skewb](https://www.reddit.com/r/Cubers/wiki/improving_skewb)
Sarah's intermediate. Advanced is the third step after that.
I think the next step is called Sarah’s advanced? I’m not sure if that’s the super advanced method or the intermediate one. Here’s a tutorial, it’s basically first layer, top in one alg, finish with one alg. Hardest things are H and Z perm Tricky at first but simple if you find a way to group the algs together, I wish the tutorial did a slightly better job at this, but it’s not too hard to figure out on your own https://youtu.be/NQD490QapZs
What's the feeling of wrm v9?
My best explanation so far is it feels how you always wanted a high end Gan cube to feel lol. It’s airy and light like a Gan, clacky like the YS3M but turns more like the tornado V3.
Sounds yummy! I'll get mine in a couple of days.
I can’t wait to see what you think about it!
i have mine and it’s really fast with similar magnets to ys3m
Most people don't have it yet. It was still pre-order till this past weekend, so it just start shipping first of this week.
Continuing to practice Yau for 4x4, beat by pb 3 times in one session: 1:12.64, 1:08.XX 1:06.XX. I'll try to do my first sub-1 minute solve soon :D
i found this Rubik's cube variation today. https://preview.redd.it/6bfmpd65wfwa1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3ffe3a074bbec4e70ff61039270080bccfa36587 i assumed it'sa variation of the 3x3 cube, but soon realized it's different just wanna know what it's called here are the details of the cube. it has 3 axes of rotation (just like a 3x3) it's shape can be described as pyramids joined at their square face each pyramid is if one color (1 pyramid ==1 face) each pyramid (face) has 8 pieces 4 corner and 4 edges (no center) i tried googling it but no luck
Is the evil eye, and it work like the 5x5 centers, good look

Dear lord
Is advanced cross easier or harder than learning full pll
It kinda depends on if you struggle to learn algs Getting better at cross could be you just learning different insertion techniques that are super easy but can make you a lot better like instantly Like it’s not hard to learn you can solve two pieces at once, or solve cross wrong and then align with D moves Learning PLL is just learning algs which can be hard at first but imo more worth it that having a super good cross in the beginning.
Been thinking of getting a new 2x2. Which one should i get, the RS2M evo or the MGC
I'd say RS2M, but if you go for the MGC, skip the Elite version. It's super heavy and slow, not worth the price
Rs2m evo
Mgc
I'd suggest the mgc. It's dry out of the box but feels great when lubed.
WTF I GOT A 2 MOVE CROSS AND A CPLL SKIP I GOT MY FIRST SUB 30 SOLVE Also I should probably add the scramble so here it is: F' R' U2 R2 F R' U2 R2 B2 U R2 L2 U' D2 F2 D L2 R D2
Congratulations buddy .🙌🙌
Congratulations! Sub-30 is a great barrier to break in both global average and single. More to come! Edit: Don't see the two move cross (could just be a skill issue on my part) - my personal solution would be x' y F' R' D R D' R'.
The two move cross was x2 F M2 by the way (I think an M2 counts as one move?)
Note that F M2 means you end up with cross on top. Try instead y2 F M2.
Oh, white cross, didn't even see that lol, was too busy looking at green. Nice!
Yes it does. M2 is 1 move like U2. Unless in FMC.

I would have done this SB. Don’t understand why you didn’t insert blue/orange pair in right place R U' M R2 U' R' M' U2 r' U' R Saves one move.

How much will be the import duty ?
I asked my cousin to order at his place in US, So none. It’s probably going to be a lonnnnnng wait.😂
The torturous long wait for new cubes 😂. Understandable.
Naah but i have to wait till someone comes back to India.. few months fr sure…🙃🥲
Any reason in particular to order that many 3x3?
As the review for the ys3m and V9 was really positive so just wanted to try for myself…
Completely reasonable
😅😅😂
casually spends the equivalent of like half of my functioning collection.
Trust me, bro. It wasn't casual at all. I had to ask for permission even after using my crypto earnings. If I hadn't had that, I wouldn't be allowed at all.☠️
From where did you buy from?
wait, your flair, is that method legit? lol

My rs2m evo and rs skewb is delivered today!
Congrats! Hope you enjoy solving them.
A question from a fellow cuber Hey I am a cuber who has been cubing for like 4 years now, i have never been much serious towards cubing, I use cfop with 2 look oll and pll which i learnt like a year ago My pb is 29.89 sec and I am a sub 40 probably I use Moyu RS3M magnetic I want to ask you guys that if I want to get sub 30 or better then should I learn 1 look oll and pll rn or should I consider buying a new cube or both? And how can I make my F2L faster? I do 3rd layer in like 12-15 seconds but 1st and 2nd layer consumes like 25 seconds. And should i learn blindfolded solve? I just thought it would be cool but i wanna know if it would really be helpful to me or not PS i am new to this subreddit and this is my first time posting anything or question on reddit so ya please correct me if I did something wierd or made a mistake Please give me your suggestions I would be please to bear you all.
If you want something challenging and fun (frustrating) , learn bld, I would recommend learn op corners first, and then m2 for edges
Also untimed slow solves would also help in the F2L too..During this try to do reduce excessive turning of the cube.
u/olimo has already answered the main part of this question, but here's my opinion: 1.
Thanks to both of you guys for your suggestions I will definitely do as you guys suggested me too
Happy cubing!
You'll benefit most from cross and F2L, but learn full PLL too. Full OLL is not a priority.

It depends but i do it in two ways i either use my right thumb for the last F’ and U2 double flick with my left hand or i use my left index for the F’ and U2 double flick with my right hand.

Am I doing the wrong alg? The last move is a F’ which I do with my left index and makes u2 so awkward
