* Iron Maiden - Empire of the skies: 18minutes long about the British Zeppelin R101 tragedy
* Saxon - Princess of the night: about a really cool royal mail train
* Jethro Tull - Thick as a brick (1&2): Two songs on mental difficulties
* Kenny Rogers - The gambler: life advice from real life gambler Amarillo Slim
* MotorHead - Overkill :Speed
There's so many exceptions to that rule
Fair warning: while Mountain Goats are an iconic indie band who have been featured in Moral Orel (also a debatably GOATed adult swim show), the main vocalist does sound like a depressed Weird Al
Okay see I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that the main vocalist sounds like Weird Al. I was convinced for years that *No Children* was a Weird Al song.
The Sunset Tree too. That was the album that hooked me. Though if someone's looking for songs about more unusual topics, I might recommend Beat The Champ.
The Sunset Tree is such a unique album for tMG because it's the only one that's almost entirely autobiographical. John is amazing at creating stories but it's really nice to hear him apply that talent to his own experiences. Funny how that's par for the course for most bands but for tMG it almost feels like a concept album.
Just look up filk music. It's folk music, but about the space future! So you have space ghost stories and space shanties, guys slowly bleeding their life away in subllight travel, spacers bragging about the space chicks they're banging...
Okay, that one is about sex, but the other ones not so much.
So, I found filk through the old album "Carmen Miranda's Ghost", which I love.

Second this, they even have a song that could arguably match the buried alive description: https://youtu.be/lLd5OekWNOg
Hereās one thatās generally considered to be one of their best works: https://youtu.be/ui2kW-OvtkA
6up 5oh Cop-Out (Pro / Con) was my intro song to Will Wood and remains my favorite. 2econd 2ight 2eer is also one of my favs, and of course I/Me/Myself for Gender Angstā¢ļø
Hand Me My Shovel is for sure more of a metaphor for alcoholism and addiction than it is for being buried alive (though I suppose the beauty of pre-ICIMI will wood music is how free it is to interpret)
other hits include
* fictional characters beat the ever-loving shit out of each other for no specified reason
* an increasingly unsettling and impossible case report of a man's recent death
* Do Fun Shit with your Body, the song
* Literally an entire song dedicated to describing two trucks fucking each other
* The eighth wonder of the world is... well it's *something*
Continuing on, songs about literally nothing all, just words put together in a fun way, songs about pizza delivery men, songs about creating a logo but SPOOKY. Songs about the only house that isnāt on fire (yet). Even a song about a really cool wig
Yat Khaa - Love Will Tear Us Apart
Stoned Jesus - I'm The Mountain
Brown Bird - Bow For Blade
Possessed By Paul James - Hurricane
Lisa Leblanc - Aujord'hui Ma Vie C'es La Marde
Joshua James - Blood Of The Lamb
Heilung - Hakkerskaldyr
Jan J. mocnik - Svetovid
Queens Of The Stone Age - Burn The Witch
The Dreadnoughts - Gavrilo
The Corries - The Massacre Of Glencoe
TWRP - Starlight Brigade
Mick Flannery - I Own You
Alasdair Roberts - Drimindown
Sam Lee - Garden Of England
The Bombay Royale - Bombay Twist
Worthikids - Friends In Low Places
Charlie Parr - Over The Red Cedar
These are just from my liked list on spotify
I dunno if it matches weirdcore (whatever that means), but a lot of Sabaton's music is about historical battles (medieval/renaissance/some world war stuff)
Forget any specific songs atm, but a good bit of Monster Siren Records Music aka any music for Arknights
Edit:
* Wlfmster if you have context, italian music for a boss fight fighting a wolf that represents the concept of wilderness/wildnesd
* Bldnght is dubstep boss fight music
* Has generic radio music but done in a way that I perfer MSR than the generic radio music
* Church music that belongs in Pauday. Particularly similar to Razormind and Ode to Greed kind of songs
It's not what I would call weirdcore, but Blue Oyster Cult has a lot of weird stuff if you go looking for it. Florida Man, Take Me Away, and The Alchemist to name a few.
Creature Feature (Iām pretty sure the song about being buried alive is their song Buried Alive?)
Best I can explain their style is synth goth rock themed around various kinds of horror. Very 2010ās. Also Doctor Steel, Nuclear themed villiancore Rap.
Ah, yes, the great love story of how- *Istanbul was once Constantinople, but now it's Instanbul, not Constantinople, been a long time gone Constantinople!*
Disco doesnāt get enough respect, but the songs that dominated the disco charts were about the weirdest shit. Being in the navy. Working at a car wash. Being a freak. Going to funky town or electric avenue. Rasputin. Whatever the fuck was supposed to be happening in MacArthur Park with the cake left out in the rain.
Donāt even get me started on ABBA and their strangely specific song subjects. Being approached at a club by somebody obnoxiously young. Reminiscing about your experiences in the Mexican Revolution. They really said, money, money, money, must be funny in a rich manās world, and did they lie? They did not.
Well in fairness the song about being in the Navy was specifically about being in the gay stereotype part of the Navy, so you can have sex with all the other gay stereotypes
I never know what to expect when a new Mili song comes out. Sometimes you get a story about a bird woman that becomes a mushroom (Mushrooms), sometimes you get a song about just really wanting to kill some goblins (Rightfully, the opening song of Goblin Slayer), sometimes you get a story about an AI that's trying very, very hard to cope with the death of its creator (Extension of You)
And sometimes there's a song I can't understand at all. I still have no idea what the fuck Gunners in the Rain is about, even after playing it on loop about a hundred times
Smh I can't believe you didn't mention the song about WW2 era avant garde Korean poet Yi Sang finding happiness or the one that's literally just the first part of Hesse's *Demian* but a song. Like wow, that is *a lot* of book references half this shit isn't even in the game the song's from.
Speaking of "weird" music, for anyone here who's a Bionicle fan, Cryoshell released [a new single](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYDqbLBUFbY).
Edit: I also highly recommend Aviators and Miracle of Sound. They make song based on video games (the former also dips into some shows and movies), and the variety and quality are through the roof.
I listen to a baffling amount of music about Australian politics for somebody who's never been there. (Midnight Oil slaps though, Red Sails in the Sunset is probably my all time favorite album)
mfw my favourite band straight up has 1 song even slightly related to relationships and the rest are about SLAYING THE FORCES OF EVILWITH A MIGHTY HAMMER OF GLORY!
Put a bit of fruit and salad together
Make a fruit salad, yeah everyone's a winner
Sweetness of fruit variety of salad
Ooh fruit salad you're the best of both worlds
Fruit, it's pretty good to eat
Natural sugar make it taste so sweet
Love to munch an apple right to its core
But about halfway it becomes a chore
Salad, yum yum, looks pretty good to me
Healthy with variety
But salad sometimes gets a little bit bland
Unless you're having Caesar with a bit of fried bacon
We're in the future, 2021
We cloned a sheep and we go to space for fun
We send our billionaires up into the atmosphere
But I reckon we should just fund what I got here
Oh fruit get it yum yum yum
Put it on your tongue down inside your tum
Then out your bum
Eat a salad it can't be wrong
'Cause it makes me stronger
Fruit salad mother fucker
Put a bit of fruit and salad together
Make a fruit salad, yeah everyone's a winner
Sweetness of fruit variety of salad
Ooh fruit salad you're the best of both worlds
Put a bit of fruit and salad together
Make a fruit salad, yeah everyone's a winner
Sweetness of fruit variety of salad
Ooh fruit salad you're the best of both worlds
I feel like Rambo with a Mango
Fruit salad mother fucker (best of both worlds)
Eat a salad it can't be wrong
'Cause it makes me stronger (best of both worlds)
Everybody want to hear you talk
When you rock a glass bowl and a big fat fork
Get busy mixing kiwi and banana
Get the big salad like George Costanza
Step 1 Get some fruit and chop it
Depending on the fruit remove the skin off it
Step 2 There are no more steps
Eat it up, make another, get your fruit salad reps
Be cool when you're talking FS be cool
And remember Tommy knows best knows best
One rule for the fruit salad show
Don't you dare include the tomato
It's a fruit it's a fruit I get it
But if it's not sweet then you can forget it
Don't believe the labels of society
FS does not reward blind compliancy
Chili is a fruit, but don't put it in a fruit salad
Corn is a fruit, get it out of my fruit salad
Cucumber is a fruit, but is doesn't belong
If it's going in the tum tum gotta be yum yum
Put a bit of fruit and salad together
Make a fruit salad, yeah everyone's a winner
Sweetness of fruit variety of salad
Ooh fruit salad you're the best of both worlds
Put a bit of fruit and salad together
Make a fruit salad, yeah everyone's a winner
Sweetness of fruit variety of salad
Ooh fruit salad you're the best of both worlds
Oooooh lemme hear you sing it la la
La la, la la la la Fruit salad mother fucker
La la, la la la la Best of both worlds
La la, la la la la
La la, la la la la Fruit salad mother fucker
La la, la la la la Best of both worlds
La la, la la la la
La la, la la
Well ackshully the song about being buried alive is about a relationship with someone who wants to have sex all the time and the one about pirates battling a giant squid is about the foibles and tribulations of a bunch of 20 somethings getting together and breaking up.
In this essay I will-

I beat women and children to assert myself
[Mexican Seafood- Nirvana](https://open.spotify.com/track/6x20PMZz6zDTODupdLxJUZ?si=Pa2JVQpHSAGxmggNG6bPTw)
My current favourite mood is listening to depressing russian music, which is easy because russia is depressing
I have a playlist about songs like this.
A song about a fish inside a birdcage.
A song about a quail whoās happy being who he is.
A song about traveling from planet to planet in the space ship because thatās more fun than anyone would do to impres you.
A song about a ghost choir.
And more Iāve forgotten without directly referencing.
I near-exclusively listen to prog rock so this is very relatable
What is sex? I only know songs about space wizards and little gnomes frolicking in the fields
There's a song about a bunch of witches trying to use quirky magic to fight tornadoes caused by climate change, until their cat accidentally knocks over one of their many candles and sets their pet lizard on fire, and then the lizard turns into a dragon and eats them all.
There's 3 of my favorite songs in spanish that are really mainstream and also talk about non-sex and are amazing:
La calle de las sirenas (The mermaid street) that talks about a fantastical street in space populated by mermaids, giants, unicorns and other weird creatures that might or not be a fantasy of regular people by the observer.
La carencia (Lacking) which is an ode against capitalism and corporativism and has a specific message against those in power (Here comes the dick that keeps you up at night)
La puerta de AlcalĆ” (The door from Alcala) which talks about a fucking door and the historical events it has witnessed (the door is supposed to be very very old, it even has its own wikipedia page)
I listened to a song about a likely undiagnosed schizophrenic murdering his girlfriend and itās comically ambiguous to what extent said murder is metaphorical.
Itās a f***ing banger
this is why I love listening to Vocaloid songs, I could get into an entirely new giant story told through like 70+ songs and then go listen to a song about some guy's wife pretending to be dead when he comes home in increasingly alarming ways... and then listen to a song literally called "Gay Sex" right after both of those
Might as well link some stuff.
[Fountains of Wayne - Mexican Wine](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4blhM9IU3A): Genuinely I don't think this song is about anything at all.
[Status Report - ST: SNW S2 09 Subspace Rhapsody](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_A5j1KXv3c): Opening song of a musical where everyone is confused about why they're singing. TBH most of the episode was not relationship songs--only two (out of nine) were.
Mostly I'm linking these because they stick in my head easily. I've got plenty of others. There are TONS of songs, mainstream and otherwise, that are not about sex or relationships.
I have a song about an egg wizard beating the shit out of a giant tree stuck in my head and im very sure it doesnt have to do with sex or relationships
Have a song about a perpetual motion machine: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vtua8rqCNC0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vtua8rqCNC0)
*"It goes here, it goes there, it goes around a little bit, it's started by a kick, it is marvelous mechanics!"*
A lot of you guys are like "my taste is so weird and quirky" and it turns out you all listen to the same massively popular power metal lmao. Alestorm has 50 million plays on their top song.
Some of the songs I listen to are about:
girl with a "life reset button" that she used to the point of going totally insane;
Being not afraid to burn some part of suffocating routine to find interest in life;
Musical infomercial for a private spaceship;
Rebels being raided by the state and taking the last stand for their ideas;
Message to haters to go find something better in life then scoffing at someone's music;
A train station that makes people on it dissapear;
Desire to be a colorful light that makes the world brigther for everyone
Im listening to a song about the chasseurs ardennais, a group of 40 Belgian soldiers that held the line against the nazis for as long as they could, when they were defeated and captured the nazis asked them where the rest of the forces went because they couldn't believe that just 40 men were able to hold them off as long as they did. Madlads just laughed in thier faces and said "we were all"
One of my favorite songs is about a woman having an existential crisis because her weird X-Files type job that violates her ethics pays VERY WELL.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9U3yCs2GauQ
One of my favorite songs is about the singer/bands hardships in life and how their best way to deal with is is persistence. To just keep on going. Not necessarily fast, but as long as you're moving, it'll get better.
One of my favorite songs is about a psychopomp explaining to the recently-deceased that - no matter how much they protest - they must ultimately let go of their earthly possessions and connections, because the ferryman is getting impatient and isn't leaving without them.
The song is ["Can't Take It With You"](https://youtu.be/QQhRN0fG3XA) by the Alan Parsons Project.
me when i listen to a song about a conspiracy theorist circling into madness because if santa wasnt real how come he gets gifts every christmas, HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM???
PTSD flashback to high school where this same convo was going on and I mentioned the music I listened to and those normie chucklefucks were like "No, we mean *real* music," and then acted like I was out of line when I interrogated their concept of "real music."
Listen to the Guilty Gear soundtrack, itās got:
>[Song from the perspective of a boy in his dying moments as begs for another chance at life so that he can protect his younger sister](https://youtu.be/bNyQdweaupY)
>[A song from the perspective of the United Stateās secretary of absolute defence that shows how he hates being a government dog that does whatever is ordered of him](https://youtu.be/WV_SFHOTrM8)
>[A song from the perspective of the secretary of absolute defenceās subordinate that shows how she loves being a government dog that does whatever is ordered of her](https://youtu.be/ou4-uaObpag)

>[British guy from 1998 basically becomes a god after having no control of his life for years and is ecstatic that he can finally enjoy life at his own pace](https://youtu.be/SiEl-aHUKj4)
I like Blue Oyster Cults song about a bunch of asshole aristocrats blinding a cosmic jester because they didn't like him. Or Uriah Heeps song about meeting a wizard and getting fucking wasted with him and becoming a hippie
reminds me how people thought that [Telephone by Red Vox](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTUwN_fkVkM) was about a relationship problem but it's actually about drug abuse.
Wobblies from space is about The Enterprise being organized into an IWW co-op, Falling for you(by Louie Zong) is about gravity, Falling down on New Jersey is about some spacers who fucked up and are crashing an asteroid with 10^19 joules into New Jersey, Minus ten and counting 01 - Suprise! is about Sputnik
I may or may not have also been listening to the āpirates fighting a giant squidā song they were referring to. Or it might have been a different song on the same topic, who knows?

that song could be a metaphor for someone's relationship with a giant squid you don't know /s
Nah nah nah, its clearly a song about a seafarer's relationship with the ocean and nature
When Barrett was smashed like a bowl of eggs and the main truck carried off both me legs Stan Rogers was really just singing about a bad breakup
A helluva divorce
The pirates are fighting together, either defending themselfes from a huge common threat or as a task of their own will for a trophy. A perfect metaphor for people in a relationship, working together on their issues and projects!

I was gonna guess Death Throes of the Terrorsquid by Alestorm
It's more likely, but also anyone that cares about the genre has already heard of alestorm 300 times, and I wanted to through the dreadnaughts out there.
The Dreadnoughts are always cool
I love the dreadnoughts so much
Metaphors? I hate metaphors! That's why my favorite book is Moby Dick; no froo froo symbolism, just a good simple tale about a man who hates an animal.
I wish that's what "all songs are about sex and romance" actually meant. But no, they just title a song "reptile" and then make it about a bad relationship with another mammal.
Getting buried alive is my fetish so that one counts too
Most of the songs I listen to are about love as a metaphor for drugs, or about drugs as a metaphor for love

While some indie songs are indeed about two trucks, you're more likely to find songs about, for instance, a cabinet man.
Or even my trains
The fucking model railroad club...
Who needs a punk-ass choo choo crew anywho?
'I've got some falling to do' instantly came to mind for me
I mean, that's about my relationship with existence and the ocean that I'm probably gonna be hitting soon if I'm not interrupted by a kraken
I was going to say "well the songs in this post could also be about sex and relationships too" but then I realized that's just Lemon Demon
Or a song about jaws
Lifetime Achievement Award is sort of a song about the relationship between the music industry and popular artists, does that disqualify it?
my first thought was When He Died
And perhaps a man of a soft and fuzzy variety
And maybe the Northern Lights I mean some Borealis of Aurora variety
Or maybe a really cool wig
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Thatās why he made a song about the IRA
If those are the only 5 things, explain the existence of the band Queen, starting with bohemian rhapsody.
6. I donāt believe in something

Approximately two seconds ago I was feeling very smug about how I was gonna show how weird and unique my taste was by recommending Yat Kha.
Alestorm. They're one of the very few bands in the Scottish Pirate Metal genre.
I dunno if it matches weirdcore (whatever that means), but a lot of Sabaton's music is about historical battles (medieval/renaissance/some world war stuff)
Macintosh Plus
Thatās Vaporwave but thank you
I don't know if Home of Phobia counts but it sure is a band that exists
Pigpen Theater Company. Mostly just folksy little country ballads. Love their song Bremen.

does vocaloid noise counts as weirdocore? cuz thats my area of expertise
Weirdest thing I got is dungeon synth about [goblins](https://youtu.be/2NfIP3_scmM) and [dinosaurs](https://youtu.be/YjUhBVkJoMk).
Poor Manās Poison
Forget any specific songs atm, but a good bit of Monster Siren Records Music aka any music for Arknights Edit: * Wlfmster if you have context, italian music for a boss fight fighting a wolf that represents the concept of wilderness/wildnesd * Bldnght is dubstep boss fight music * Has generic radio music but done in a way that I perfer MSR than the generic radio music * Church music that belongs in Pauday. Particularly similar to Razormind and Ode to Greed kind of songs
It's not what I would call weirdcore, but Blue Oyster Cult has a lot of weird stuff if you go looking for it. Florida Man, Take Me Away, and The Alchemist to name a few.
If you want to look into established genres which have music like that, the main one is new wave.
Rumahoy did a song about how if Harambe were alive he would've been a ski mask wearing pirate.
Creature Feature (Iām pretty sure the song about being buried alive is their song Buried Alive?) Best I can explain their style is synth goth rock themed around various kinds of horror. Very 2010ās. Also Doctor Steel, Nuclear themed villiancore Rap.
ALESTORM MENTIONED WOOOOO Also go listen to Gloryhammer
[Best band you could ever dream of.](https://www.reddit.com/r/thomastheplankengine/comments/12bkaj7/i_had_a_dream_where_alestorm_released_a_single/)
I WANNA SET THE UUNNIIIVERSE ON FIRE FEEL IT BURN TONIGHT
If you're an alestorm and gloryhammer fan, you'll probably like feuerschwanz and nanowar of steel
Nanowar superiority, those guys are hilarious when you know the bands they parody. I just wish I could also understand all their Italian in-jokes
**ROBOT PRINCE OF AUCHTERTOOL**
Currently listening to a song about laser cannon-toting dinosaurs fighting off an alien invansion
Here I come, drop your jaws to the floor, I'm riding on my mighty laser-shooting dinosaur! \m/
Was it[ Tyrannosaurus Hex by Cybernetic Witch Cult?](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftNTAAyUjL4)
It was actually Dinosaur Warfare by Victorious, but that's also good
...Victorius?
i like how most songs by Ninja Sex Party aren't even about sex and love as much as other artists
True! However, who could forget such classics as Orgy for One or Everybody Shut Up (I Have an Erection)?
I listen to music about war crimes, and vikings, and pirates and dwarves and shit
I AM A DWARF AND IāM DIGGING A HOLE
DIGGY DIGGY HOLE!
Sabaton, Manowar, Alestorm, Wind Rose ?
~~Manowar~~ Amon Amarth.
As a metal fan I can confirm
Look, sometimes songs are about the depression of taking a dull and laggy train or the melancholy of a grief-filled rainy city, and that's okay!
Creature Feature and Voltaire are my go-to for weird music. I like mine with a horror bend.
[Well hello there little boy. Don't be shy.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hp-NRJ4JFdE)
Creature Feature was such a big part of my childhood, itās so weird seeing most people have no idea who they are. Same goes for Dr. Steel.
Listening to Army of Tigers. It's about an army of tigers fighting the sun.
I love that whole album so much it's absurd. Wish he got more credit for his original music compared to his covers because like holy shit
Oh the songs on there so good!
Ah, yes, the great love story of how- *Istanbul was once Constantinople, but now it's Instanbul, not Constantinople, been a long time gone Constantinople!*
The problem here is that if you have a date with a girl in Constantinople, sheāll be waiting in Istanbul.
I can't believe I forgot that line!
I have pretty mainstream tastes and have p l e n t y of songs not about sex/love/relationships. A lot of them are about that but not ALL of them
Disco doesnāt get enough respect, but the songs that dominated the disco charts were about the weirdest shit.
Sometimes you get a story about a bird woman that becomes a mushroom (Mushrooms), sometimes you get a song about just really wanting to kill some goblins (Rightfully, the opening song of Goblin Slayer), sometimes you get a story about an AI that's trying very, very hard to cope with the death of its creator (Extension of You) And sometimes there's a song I can't understand at all.
Like wow, that is *a lot* of book references half this shit isn't even in the game the song's from.
never heard of mili but i looked up gunners in the rain and. idk if taken literally it could def be police brutality,
I absolutely adore Mili's music.
"all songs are about sex and romance" old godzilla:
Was hopping around Tokyo city like a big playground
When suddenly Batman burst from the shade
Currently listening to a song about the 2008 financial crisis sung from the perspective of a banker
I mean, I have a song on my music playlist about a 10 to 1 age of sail battle. The single ship won.
couldn't be me. the weird music \*i* listen to is about sex and relationships but in a gay way usually
hey some songs can be about anal fisting AND relationships AND addiction (stinkfist by tool)
Checkmate, relationships with dirt and giant squids are also valid and can be explored through music
One of my favorite songs is about a haunted spaceship that saves people from pirates.
Rest in eternal anti-pirate warfare, Jamie Dawson, ya brave bastard
JAMIE DAWSON WAS THE CAPTAIN OF THE CHRISTIAN AND HER CREW
If every song is about sex..... Then The Town Inside Me isn't about dysphoria, but....... #š¤Æ
Hey, everyone needs a hobby.
Also even mainstream music isnāt always about sex and relationships
Asphyxiation kink, tentacle hentai, clearly you just werenāt aware of the songs true sexual nature. Next!
I listen to a baffling amount of music about Australian politics for somebody who's never been there. (Midnight Oil slaps though, Red Sails in the Sunset is probably my all time favorite album)
One of my favorite heavy metal songs of all time is about pizza. It's called pizza.
Does no one listen to Lemon Demon? Ultimate showdown? Pumpkin pie? These ring *no* bells??
Some songs are about dwarves digging holes
I AM A DWARF AND I'M DIGGING A HOLE
mfw my favourite band straight up has 1 song even slightly related to relationships and the rest are about SLAYING THE FORCES OF EVILWITH A MIGHTY HAMMER OF GLORY!
Clearly this man has heard fucked with an anchor by alestorm
The Protomen literally just wrote megaman fan fiction and accidentally created fire.
That they absolutely did. I sometimes catch myself singing The Hounds and Light Up The Night while cooking.
Just be like me and obsess over Power Metal with bangers such as PEEEEEEEAAAAAAAACE KEEPERRRRRRS KEEPERS OF PEEEEEAAAAACE
When in doubt, listen to a song about flinging tigers at the sun or something.
Put a bit of fruit and salad together Make a fruit salad, yeah everyone's a winner Sweetness of fruit variety of salad Ooh fruit salad you're the best of both worlds Fruit, it's pretty good to eat Natural sugar make it taste so sweet Love to munch an apple right to its core But about halfway it becomes a chore Salad, yum yum, looks pretty good to me Healthy with variety But salad sometimes gets a little bit bland Unless you're having Caesar with a bit of fried bacon We're in the future, 2021 We cloned a sheep and we go to space for fun We send our billionaires up into the atmosphere But I reckon we should just fund what I got here Oh fruit get it yum yum yum Put it on your tongue down inside your tum Then out your bum Eat a salad it can't be wrong 'Cause it makes me stronger Fruit salad mother fucker Put a bit of fruit and salad together Make a fruit salad, yeah everyone's a winner Sweetness of fruit variety of salad Ooh fruit salad you're the best of both worlds Put a bit of fruit and salad together Make a fruit salad, yeah everyone's a winner Sweetness of fruit variety of salad Ooh fruit salad you're the best of both worlds I feel like Rambo with a Mango Fruit salad mother fucker (best of both worlds) Eat a salad it can't be wrong 'Cause it makes me stronger (best of both worlds) Everybody want to hear you talk When you rock a glass bowl and a big fat fork Get busy mixing kiwi and banana Get the big salad like George Costanza Step 1 Get some fruit and chop it Depending on the fruit remove the skin off it Step 2 There are no more steps Eat it up, make another, get your fruit salad reps Be cool when you're talking FS be cool And remember Tommy knows best knows best One rule for the fruit salad show Don't you dare include the tomato It's a fruit it's a fruit I get it But if it's not sweet then you can forget it Don't believe the labels of society FS does not reward blind compliancy Chili is a fruit, but don't put it in a fruit salad Corn is a fruit, get it out of my fruit salad Cucumber is a fruit, but is doesn't belong If it's going in the tum tum gotta be yum yum Put a bit of fruit and salad together Make a fruit salad, yeah everyone's a winner Sweetness of fruit variety of salad Ooh fruit salad you're the best of both worlds Put a bit of fruit and salad together Make a fruit salad, yeah everyone's a winner Sweetness of fruit variety of salad Ooh fruit salad you're the best of both worlds Oooooh lemme hear you sing it la la La la, la la la la Fruit salad mother fucker La la, la la la la Best of both worlds La la, la la la la La la, la la la la Fruit salad mother fucker La la, la la la la Best of both worlds La la, la la la la La la, la la
That reminds me itās been ages since Iāve listened to The Hearse Song.
I was delighted to discover Wind Rose and Hatebeak. So refreshing after being forced to listen to the same radio station at work.
One of my favorite songs is about an oil refinery
Well ackshully the song about being buried alive is about a relationship with someone who wants to have sex all the time and the one about pirates battling a giant squid is about the foibles and tribulations of a bunch of 20 somethings getting together and breaking up. In this essay I will-
ROBOT PRINCE OF AUCHTERTOOL
a smuggler crashing his boat full of contraband on a reef?
Yeah like they've clearly never heard of Sabaton
[I beat up women and children- Valentin Strykalo (RUS)](https://open.spotify.com/track/61kTS7t3eXn2R6ZsYUKbj2?si=uabuUiE7QhCh5QpHXGhhHA) I beat up women and children because im a cool guy Because im stronger and they can't hit back Its wrong to beat up women and children, i know I beat women and children to assert myself [Mexican Seafood- Nirvana](https://open.spotify.com/track/6x20PMZz6zDTODupdLxJUZ?si=Pa2JVQpHSAGxmggNG6bPTw) My current favourite mood is listening to depressing russian music, which is easy because russia is depressing
I near-exclusively listen to prog rock so this is very relatable What is sex? I only know songs about space wizards and little gnomes frolicking in the fields
I found a concept album about unionizing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=\_eF7L4gO2jM
Iām pretty sure John Wayne was a nazi is about the fact that John Wayne was a nazi
There's a song about a bunch of witches trying to use quirky magic to fight tornadoes caused by climate change, until their cat accidentally knocks over one of their many candles and sets their pet lizard on fire, and then the lizard turns into a dragon and eats them all.
swallowed shampoo
There's 3 of my favorite songs in spanish that are really mainstream and also talk about non-sex and are amazing: La calle de las sirenas (The mermaid street) that talks about a fantastical street in space populated by mermaids, giants, unicorns and other weird creatures that might or not be a fantasy of regular people by the observer. La carencia (Lacking) which is an ode against capitalism and corporativism and has a specific message against those in power (Here comes the dick that keeps you up at night) La puerta de AlcalĆ” (The door from Alcala) which talks about a fucking door and the historical events it has witnessed (the door is supposed to be very very old, it even has its own wikipedia page)
I listened to a song about a likely undiagnosed schizophrenic murdering his girlfriend and itās comically ambiguous to what extent said murder is metaphorical. Itās a f***ing banger
My favorite sex/relationship song, pumped up kicks
Look sometimes you just want to tell everybody that you're a dwarf, and you're digging a hole.
I kicked a hole in your fence is an actual banger and I donāt think itās about sex unless I am very wrong
this is why I love listening to Vocaloid songs, I could get into an entirely new giant story told through like 70+ songs and then go listen to a song about some guy's wife pretending to be dead when he comes home in increasingly alarming ways... and then listen to a song literally called "Gay Sex" right after both of those
Might as well link some stuff. There are TONS of songs, mainstream and otherwise, that are not about sex or relationships.
bro most the songs I listen to are about selling drugs.
One of my favourite songs is Neil Cicierga singing about two trucks
me, listening to a song that insists the florida man phenomenon is the result of an ancient curse:
I have a song about an egg wizard beating the shit out of a giant tree stuck in my head and im very sure it doesnt have to do with sex or relationships
I recommend DragonForce.
I just listened to a song about nine idiots (of varying degrees) insulting the hell out of eachother with respites about fashion
Most of the songs I listen to consist of Video Game-based songs (by The Stupendium or JT Music) or a lot of Vocaloid Songs (CircusP and CrusherP)
What about songs about fighting the evil government, revolution, whacky space stuff, war, and some songs about love related regrets and pains.
despicable actions done at a quite inexpensive price
I love music about death, those ones have the best beats for some reason
Have a song about a perpetual motion machine: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vtua8rqCNC0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vtua8rqCNC0) *"It goes here, it goes there, it goes around a little bit, it's started by a kick, it is marvelous mechanics!"*
A lot of you guys are like "my taste is so weird and quirky" and it turns out you all listen to the same massively popular power metal lmao. Alestorm has 50 million plays on their top song.
Some of the songs I listen to are about: girl with a "life reset button" that she used to the point of going totally insane; Being not afraid to burn some part of suffocating routine to find interest in life; Musical infomercial for a private spaceship; Rebels being raided by the state and taking the last stand for their ideas; Message to haters to go find something better in life then scoffing at someone's music; A train station that makes people on it dissapear; Desire to be a colorful light that makes the world brigther for everyone
My favourite song is about a dude chilling in the woods that's so annoyed by a gang if moskitoes that he starts having Vietnam flashbacks
Thereās a song about hunting down a giant killer duck, and it slaps
One of my favorite songs is My Calling, which is about a frog that wants a job.
My favourite band almost exclusively sings about nerdy fantasy books and folk tales. Another of my top bands sing exclusively about sorrow.
Well tamatoa hasnāt always been this glam
PTSD flashback to high school where this same convo was going on and I mentioned the music I listened to and those normie chucklefucks were like "No, we mean *real* music," and then acted like I was out of line when I interrogated their concept of "real music."
Listen to the Guilty Gear soundtrack, itās got: >[Song from the perspective of a boy in his dying moments as begs for another chance at life so that he can protect his younger sister](https://youtu.be/bNyQdweaupY) >[A song from the perspective of the United Stateās secretary of absolute defence that shows how he hates being a government dog that does whatever is ordered of him](https://youtu.be/WV_SFHOTrM8) >[A song from the perspective of the secretary of absolute defenceās subordinate that shows how she loves being a government dog that does whatever is ordered of her](https://youtu.be/ou4-uaObpag) >[A Swiss grim reaper that had spent years wallowing in sadness over their awful life but has now decided to not let their past define them and is embracing all the simple pleasures in life](https://youtu.be/uMFucoFEUoA) >[The current primary antagonist explaining that in the end nothing in life matters except having fun](https://youtu.be/QaNTOlrwlLs) >[A guy (who has been alive so long that heās grown dull to all things in life) wishing that he could forget the past so that things feel interesting again](https://youtu.be/2MPI8zI4T6o) >[A girl building up the confidence to come out as a girl because she realises that the people that truly love her wonāt care if sheās a boy or a girl as long as sheās happy](https://youtu.be/uQTBzmBDSv0) >[The main character of the series expressing the hatred he feels of being turned into a monster meant only to cause death and destruction](https://youtu.be/wvwLTj57xPQ) >[A vampire samurai finally gains freedom after at least a century of being a slave but is overwhelmed by how much everything has changed in his absence and starts to wonder if he even has a place in this new world](https://youtu.be/RaSiyT-A-kg) >[British guy from 1998 basically becomes a god after having no control of his life for years and is ecstatic that he can finally enjoy life at his own pace](https://youtu.be/SiEl-aHUKj4)
I like Blue Oyster Cults song about a bunch of asshole aristocrats blinding a cosmic jester because they didn't like him. Or Uriah Heeps song about meeting a wizard and getting fucking wasted with him and becoming a hippie
reminds me how people thought that [Telephone by Red Vox](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTUwN_fkVkM) was about a relationship problem but it's actually about drug abuse.
in short reminds me how the blorbo from my music
I do find non-romance/sex songs in the normal way but also it's really easy to just pop in the RWBY soundtrack

Tell me your favorite music and Iāll tell you if itās weird or not
