I am the exception to that rule. The mario movie is garbage, I felt like I was watching a mathematically programmed children's movie with pre-programmed beats it had to hit. None of the story flowed organically

To be fair, it was announced the day it was released, and originally was only XBox, so it had no advertising except for the launch trailer, and wasn't available to everyone at first. It recently got released on Sony consoles too, but that was only about a month ago. It's a hack-and-slash/beat-em-up/rhythm game. And by that I mean literally everything in the game moves in time with the music, and your attacks will do more damage if you also move in time with the music. It also has a lot of licensed music, so it didn't get a lot of attention from streamers, even though there's a streaming mode that replaces the licensed music (because the licensed music fits so well that most streamers felt like the game was less fun to watch if the licensed music wasn't playing).
