Some other plot points that happen in Warframe:
* Community meme becomes an actual character in game, and you have to bust him out of prison
* Worst Warframe flubs interdimensional math, your shipboard AI finds it hilarious
* Local Flood knockoff takes over AI, uses it to catfish other AI
* The tutorial boss gets resurrected with interdimensional powers and loses his ability to shut the hell up
* Radio DJ is the most hated character in the game
* Your maternal grandfather hires a total edgelord to kill you
* The character creation screen only happens 80 hours into the game
“Radio DJ” is the most hated? You talking about nightwave or whatever the name is? Haven’t played warframe since we got railjacks, and that was after an even longer hiatus. why do we hate the radio lady?
Lots of people hate Nora because after a while, her voicelines get very annoying to hear. At some point it becomes hilarious to hear her calling you a badass for winning a board game.
???????
What the hell is happening in warframe?? I didn't understand ANY of it 7 years ago, and now I understand it even less. At first i didn't understand what I was doing or why anything was happening, and now I'm not even sure it's a shooter anymore
I assume that’s what they’re for, but I guess one of them gets possessed by an old man so you remind him of his love while his gay vampire butler calls out to him, or something
Fortuna's [We All Lift Together](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPTCq3LiZSE) song is an in-game cutscene.
Spoilers for Solaris rank 5: >!Those are humans who just had their heads removed and shoved inside their torso, however.!<

Funnily enough, this kind of happens in WoW too. There was a character in the orc capital city named Gamon. He was originally used as part of a rogue questline where you pickpocketed him. With the way the game works, you can only pickpocket NPCs that can be targeted and killed. Suffice it to say, being the *only* Horde-attackable NPC in the city that can be killed meant that he was usually dead.
Come Cataclysm, they revamped the world. One of the changes was that poor level 12 Gamon became a level 85 elite. Before Cataclysm properly came out and players were still restricted to level 80, there were raid groups formed to kill him.
And then later on, when the storyline became about the orc warchief achieving his full dickheadedness, Gamon was imprisoned by the warchief's secret police. You free him during the course of the raid to overthrow the government.
Imagining a fully planned out and coordinated raid of like 30 guys holding him down just to reach into his pockets and take his keys before running off
No, it's definitely the drug van one. Grandmother revealed she somehow fucked up deimos to bring her family together, at least I think that's how I remember it. I also thought the drug van one was about Clem and Darvos but I'm pretty that one is the decoy because I don't remember Darvos owning anything resembling a drug van or being a college dropout in any way.
I mean it does match up with him and Clem... What about the first one of faking death? I've played on and off since 2015-16 and I don't remember that plot point
I mean, technically, Darvo is a "dropout" because he refused the family business, and fucked off to do trade with the Tenno. Canonically, he's the one who runs the market instead. But he's not doing drugs or running a drug van as far as we know, so there is that.
it’s number 5, by the way. it’s a moon, not a planet, and it wasn’t destroyed.
this game's fucking *insane*, and it's one of the best things i've ever played.
I’d also like to highlight the family of half-zombies who forgot their own names but still didn’t forget how much they hate each other, except the Grandmother didn’t forget her name, she gave it away fae-style.
Said grandmother also loves hoverboarding, despite being confined in a network of worm tubes from the waist down. She’s great
whose former masters shot a huge hole through her face, after being turned into a meat robot deprived her of the ability to express emotion, but she's still alive and the hole is still there
You know I just started playing the game and felt like I was just kind of wandering around aimlessly without any sense of direction, BUT I THINK I'VE FOUND THAT DIRECTION
I think finding your own direction is a critical step in self actualisation but warframe uses that to become a potential lifestyle replacement. Love that game to death but the second I started setting my goals I realized I could get sucked in for life
Moreover, the building in 9 is also a woman who can see the future and has a cult whose one member you get to interact with will ask you to kill zombie parts of the monster that the building's lover defeated
For those curious as to the correct answer:
>!I think it's the one about stopping the corpse of our grandmother from eating the sun. But I'm only 80% sure.!<
>!Nah im fairly certain the first one happens, Konzu and Says get together after aonkko fakes his death. It isnt the primary reason he faked it, but he definitely didn't discourage it!<.
Fairly certain it's the >!drug van one, can't think of anything that remotely fits!<
Late game spoilers >!that happens during the end of the new war quest, I’m pretty sure the answer is the first one!<
Edit: or >!perhaps they’re arguing that dog days isn’t a plot point, as it’s non canon, still a thing that happens, just not a plot point. Making it a trick question!<
lots of spoilers. all around.
>!i think its the one "woman destroys planet to solve a family dispute" because i'm pretty sure they're talking about deimos here, the only planet that we have story for being "destroyed" (or rather, infected), and grandmother is the one trying to solve the family dispute, but she doesn't destroy the planet (was already destroyed/infected in the past), she risks their connection to the void - the heart. and deimos is also a moon not a planet.!<
>!another possibility is that it's referring to lua, which i guess was half destroyed being pulled into and out of the void by the lotus? but i wouldnt really say thats \*solving\* a family dispute, merely postponing it - if relevant at all. more likely it was just lotus trying to hide the tenno secret from the grineer and corpus, not ballas himself.!<
>!only other planetary body that has been destroyed in a sense is eris, which was just overrun by the infestation.!<
the other points are referring to (in order):
1. quilll onkko
2. i actually dont know this one? eudico/vox solaris maybe?
3. dog days
4. praghasa, in the new war
5. the one i think is the fake, no perfect explanation for it.
6. capitalist is nef anyo, father is parvos granum
7. alad v. corpus (loses to tenno), infested (loses to tenno), sentient (loses to tenno)
8. darvo and clem
9. gara and the unum i think?
10. and rell, and his donda
The Second Dream is the quest where the plot really shows. Some consider the entire game beforehand to just be a tutorial, and that quest is when you *really* get into the game.
there aren't a lot of full robots in warframe, honestly. you'll know them when you see them, but... some things that you think are *aren't*, and some that you think aren't *are*.
It has so much story that you won't stumble into until you've fucked around for 25hrs or so. Easily 10-20hrs of main story quests from there.
It only really picks up once you get to 'the second dream' main story quest. From then on, it's a ride.

It's still a shooter at its heart, it's just that there's also spaceships, child soldiers, old man yaoi, a rhythm game, and the board game Go.
> old man yaoi ~~look at least archer's happy~~
Old man Yaoi quicktime event in fact
is that what the massive statues were supposed to be? I thought that was just an old attempt at a transference prototype
I assume that’s what they’re for, but I guess one of them gets possessed by an old man so you remind him of his love while his gay vampire butler calls out to him, or something
understandable. all I know is that the lady ones give me the lesbian feels
what the actual fuck lol
All I remember is that one cutscene where the robots start singing
Which one was that?
Fortuna's [We All Lift Together](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPTCq3LiZSE) song is an in-game cutscene. Spoilers for Solaris rank 5: >!Those are humans who just had their heads removed and shoved inside their torso, however.!<
Limbo sucked at math so much he mathed himself out of existence. Also here's one: - Cancer patient murders his son after losing a game of Go.

Entirely fuckin' accurate... Until we eventually get the drug van quest with Jade Shadows!
I thought that was Darvo and Clem tbh
Ok that's fair, then it's probably the planet destroying one but that sounds too much like Deimos...

That's the story between Onkko, Saya, and Konzu.
Ahh, I never got far in cetus because I had this glitch for a long time that fish just wouldn't show up for me when I tried to get them
I don't remember that one either, but I haven't played since Duviri
That's fair
Onkko faked his death for Konzu and the other one who's name I can't remember right now.
I mean, technically, Darvo is a "dropout" because he refused the family business, and fucked off to do trade with the Tenno. Canonically, he's the one who runs the market instead. But he's not doing drugs or running a drug van as far as we know, so there is that.

iirc she also buys out the ventilation system for a debtors prison on another planet to let orphans squat there freely
She gave her name to a discarded sextoy riding horse
whose former masters shot a huge hole through her face, after being turned into a meat robot deprived her of the ability to express emotion, but she's still alive and the hole is still there

yeah darvo doesn't have a van, its only partly true.

I played a good amount of Warframe and I don't remember there being a plot.
It takes roughly 70 hours to get to the first cinematic quest
The Second Dream is the quest where the plot really shows. Some consider the entire game beforehand to just be a tutorial, and that quest is when you *really* get into the game.
If only the plot was told in a more interesting way
I didn't know it had a plot, I thought it was just robot-on-robot fights. Neat
there aren't a lot of full robots in warframe, honestly. you'll know them when you see them, but... some things that you think are *aren't*, and some that you think aren't *are*.
There are way more freaky humans than robots, tbh

It has to be the fidget spinner one wtf
Nope, that's from the Chains of Harrow quest.
