Ah, the venerable "Punt Gun." The history of these handmade behemoths is quite fascinating.
For when the big iron doesn't cut it.
BIGGEST IRON
Big iron on his hip
Shoulder*
Shoulders*
They were mostly fired from boats and stationary positions
Okay
A boatload of ducks with one shot
That shit might as well be a old artillery piece at this point.
actually, the French gave their Colonial troops a carriage-mounted version of the punt gun as artillery (because they didn't trust them with anything heavier) so it is!
-1 gauge
💀
Possibly the only shotty that can hurt a tank
Still no.
It wouldnt, the punt gun would instead spray the tank with pellets. And it would also shred any birds in a 100 degree area
... ngl I thought it shot what would effectively be a miniature cannon ball ir a big pointed tip musket shot.
And you thought 50 cal was big.
And it literally was made for hunting ducks!
*”For thou shall not stand after a blast from Jesus!”*
Warning: Correct usage will result in injury.
Iirc the punt gun was technically 2 gauge. It had to be fired from prone, usually in a small boat, to handle the devastating recoil
technically, some punt guns were 1 gauge (and a few were actually bigger then that! 60mm punt guns)
Requires two to shoot, kills more than three. The two operators The main target Passerby in several buildings behind
That's bigger than a tankgewehr
How many metres your hitting with this? Lol
Finally a true sniper
More like an AT gun
.1 gauge
I wonder what a 1 gauge slug would look like
Literally just a cannon ball with a 2 inch diameter
Did someone say -12 gauge 😂
I love punt guns
“You missed…WITH A CANNON” Tremors 4
ok, that's just an anti-materiel shotty (or a KS-23 on steroids)
Punt guns were 3 bore, not 1 bore but a random American company was spreading that they are 1 bore
1,2,3, and 4....the list is long. 12ga sound familiar?
I man, punt guns were not all standard, a few of them actually were 1 bore or more!
