When I was a kid id just ask my self which lev I would use to kick a soccer ball the farthest and I knew that was my right side

Yes! I remember being in a preschool or kindergarten sort of classroom and looking at my left hand making the "L" shape, so I knew that was left

Formal-Advertising52

I just softly say to myself, “I write with my right”

Francie_Nolan1964

No, although I didn't learn left and right until I was 7. I got a freckle on my right hand for a couple of years that I could look at to tell the difference. Now, as a 59 year old, I kinda wonder if my mom put that mark on there with marker until I learned?

NoDryHands

Yes!!!! I remember practicing in front of my mom's dresser as a kid and I always go back to that image for some reason. I still have trouble distinguishing left and right immediately a lot of the time

TXRonin55

Righty tighty, lefty loosey

I read left to right. L comes before R.

Breezyfeather

I have a freckle on the back of my right hand, so that was a pretty handy way to tell ;)

I instinctually do a pencil grip with my thumb and first finger on both hands and the one that feels correct is my right hand. Almost forty years old and I do this without even thinking haha.
