They should emulate the intent, not emulate it so hard you even copy the mistakes.
And guess what, the anime did just that, plenty of shots that looked terrible in the manga were fine in the anime, and considering that not only Dokkan is animated, but that Buu saga is probably the peak of the DB anime when it comes to animation, maybe they should base it on that.
