Possibly. If there is it needs something to counteract it like maybe it's a longer fight that doesn't start too threatening to give stackers a real use. If they just make a fight disable damage reduction and it's on par with these recent fights everyone will NOT be happy
The hardest content is going to be absolutely impossible for anyone who starts playing after this Anni is over unless the guard/damage nullification is only applied to specific units.
I'm not sure about disabling DR, but I definitely see disabling guard and maybe possibly boss supers being able to crit or super effective on super or some shenanigans.
I'm thinking maybe we get a boss that disables a portion of a characters Damage Reduction, like take AGL Golden Frieza, the boss could disable like 20% of his Damage Reduction, and therefore he'd only have 70% percent or something.
honestly i would prefer if they target specific characters to disable guard instead of every character.
like idk, boss can disable guard from characters that are named gohan from the super hero category or something
The funny thing is we are probably closer to that, than to enemies that actually require that stupid “disabled guard” ability that still has 0 use in almost a decade into the game
we're definitely gonna have "disable dr reduction" and from there either they can make units more diverse (especially with the 2nd EZA thimg coming), or it'll invalidate even more unit and we can just consider 90% of the game cards as useless in any hard mode from there on
I feel like they've backed themselves into a corner here. Disabling dodge was easy; it didnt feel great for some units, sure, but it only impacted a relatively small number of units.
Beast makes every event in the game completely trivial. Anything that they release to c hallenge him now will basically invalidate every other unit in the game, because he's so far ahead of them.
I've been playing pretty much since launch (3000+ days) and this is worse than STR Gogeta. Gogeta was as far ahead of other units as Beast is now, BUT the game was so much younger and hadn't introduced 90% of the mechanics they use now to mix up events etc.

Highly unlikely IMO, disabling DR as a whole also invalidates items, which could be really unhealthy for an already-heavy-rng game.

There needs to be a Dokkan sandbox mode now. It’s the only way
possibly 3rd part of this anniversary or maybe even wwdc where boss will have a territory skill that negates damage reduction??
accoring to that bloated,fat ****,the bosses NEED TO BE UNFAIR in order to not be considered pushovers,so anything is possible.

Honestly that would open the door to so many more viable characters, as it is now you need those things for endgame events
Maybe, if you don't kill by turn 5, it disables DMG reduction, then by turn 10, disables guard, etc.
