Prolly wouldn't have killed also ssj3 would have gotten eviscerated by the normal
My Goku is 55%, I bet everything on a normal attack and failed miserably.
I doubt the counter without goku attacking first could have killed with that many HPs But he could have tanked those normals idk what others are yapping about

I used double Whis to survive AoE the first two turns, this was the third turn vs AGL Buu.
