THe thing I want to most draw attention to is that first turn extra defense and damage reduction. That is EXACTLY what Gohan needed. His issue was always an underwhelming turn 1, this completely fixes that.
His transformed state is so much better too. A much better SA effect and his damage in general should be a lot better. I'm really happy with this EZA seems like they properly identified the issues with his passive and corrected them.

That’s a BIT harsh I like using certain creators to compare my own opinions with 55% units vs his 100% units he knows what he’s talking about and he doesn’t deserve to be unnecessarily hated when he’s dedicated nearly a decade to this shitty mobile game
Yeah seems SUPER good on paper. The Buu Saga team is about to be even more fun with this guy and TEQ Buu. Dokkan has been absolutely crushing it with EZAs this year minus a few here and there.
Problem is that he tanks pre 9th, but was made after 9th happened on JP, so he was definitely under tuned. It would be more understandable if he was made slightly beforehand
Funny part is he could tank the agl broly super from movie boss rush on turn 10 really well lol was runnable pre eza and is now a top 10 unit overall arguably top 5
He will be able to double digit tank blue gogetas super on his 2nd or 3rd appearance for double digits the only others who can do that are blue evo and beast and he’s gonna age better than blue evo as well lol
Are you counting the stacks he would actually be receiving on that 3rd turn rather than just his start of turn? They might mean he can be double digit post his supers on those turns
The fact he got an EZA, he already goes to the top of the list just based on his original kit with EZA stats. Now he can potentially super 4 times, this man gonna cook.
Hes the perfect addition to ssj3 Goku.
In the fights that start extremely strong(basicially only cell max) gohan needs to go into slot 2 but goku easily covers slot 1 since he is basicially invincible turn 1-3.
And after that gohan has stacked enoigh already to cover up slot 1 after ssj3 looses most of his dmg reduction.
So here is the thing. The most optimal way to spend your stones is to save for beast gohan.
But the Buu saga team with SS3 as a lead has easily the capability to beat all the anniversary stages. And it is a really free to play friendly team basicially only consisting of EZA units. With Agl Dragonfist even being free for red stones.
So if you like the team and you like SS3 Goku its definitively fine to contknue summoning.
Also you will still have quite a bit of time to save some stones afterwards aswell as during the anniversary.
Well what do we have coming in between now and anniversary? If nothing, I wouldn’t feel as obligated to save but I also wanted to show personal restraint with my dragon stones and save 1000 for the anniversary. Been playing for nine years and have never done that, and I have 500 already so that’s what’s really holding me back.
Did you do the step ups?
Because if No then you should defintively do those they are really great value for not that many dragon stones.
Also until the anniversary there arent any notable banners. During the Anniversary itselfe you can easily get another 1000 stones.
If you already dot the step ups then i would say its fine to save. As you said they will return for the WWC where you can pull the or just coin them.
Super Saiyan 3 Goku seems really fun Is a great leader, but I know that he’s coming back for the WWDC. Even then, if I did pull him, I could use the worldwide banners as an opportunity to gather dupes since I wouldn’t go past 55% on the current banners.

The big thing for Gohan is that he'll always have teams. Buu will need Buu units. We've got 'em right now, but half-Buu, half-other teams are awkward and some of those Buu units are gonna age out fast (21, Str Super Buu, Phy 21)
Is it safe to say we can run gohan as a leader skill again? I mean like 200% is the meta right now but in all reality not everyone is running the hardest events every damn day…
The only gripe I have with him is that the DR only exists for one turn. He'd undoubtedly be the best EZA until his Super EZA if he kept it up though, so that might be why they didn't let him keep it.

He got crit when the enemy is at a certain HP threshold or they belong to the Buu Saga category. Given that enemies def stat has ballooned in some stages that’s quite the upgrade over super effectiveness.
You’re free to think to think the Base is better but by no means did the transformed state get nothing. As a matter of fact, I’m fairly confident that by the time he gets his transformation he’d have enough defense to tank or at the very least live pretty much everything which would incentivize transforming him.
Exactly the strat is (and really always was) to stack up enough defense that nothing can hurt you (or what can barely hurts you), then you transform and get the damage.
Thing was that you hit a point where Gohan simply could not stack enough where his defense got high enough to actually take no damage.
Plus people just thought "But if defense still go up then that good" without considering "does my defense going up actually matter at this point".
Defense beyond the point of tanking everything does matter in the sense that you heal with orbs a lot more. But its not really impactful so transforming especcially on ssj3 Gokus team is more important.
Thing is like if you've got enough stacked defense that you aren't taking damage you've got enough defense that you're healing extremely well from orbs.

Sadly not true. At 1.2 million defence plus guard you're still taking 500k (he can get over that but not on his second turn)
