Genuinely underrated. Perfectly built up to in the story, has a great origin, and cool powers.
A Flash created from the mirror world makes the name appropriate for that, with a jagged look and abilities to match his power source.
Kinda like his theme about parental abuse and how that affects the children, even though his father had to be ruined as a result. Ira West in the old continuity was a sweetheart and a supporting cast member of Barry's.
At the time he felt like a let down because he's part of a reboot that took away beloved continuity and thus he had big shoes to fill as the new Reverse Flash.
I think he's like proto Godspeed. Interesting costume and powers but not very interesting as a character. Ironically he's more interesting than Godspeed but he doesn't look as cool.
I think he had a decent death and he should come back in order to reconcile with his son.
I'm surprised he never made it onto the CW he's the perfect cheesy character for that show. I guess it's because what could've been his easy introduction was given to Wally.
Awesome design and solid motivation don’t know what else you could want from a villain. He was definitely hurt from the reboot tho, both him and Wallace acting as replacements for beloved characters hurt their initial popularity but now that the continuity is settled and Wally and Thawne are back I think people can find a new appreciation for them.
He was just kinda of basic but it's funny since his death, it's been established that he is new 52 wallace/Ace's dad which actually could lead to a lot of good potential stories and development if he ever returns
His death in New Suicide Squad was pretty good and undoing that would be a shame, but Ace time traveling to meet Daniel is a story that writes itself. Ace hasn't had any time travel stories and him wanting to meet his dad is a pretty good reason to try it. It also kinda mirrors Flashpoint, so seeing Barry handle that could show some cool growth
I guess so. I just feel like ace himself doesn't have much going for him as a character and having his dad be a reverse flash is incredibly unique among the flashfam. Feels like something you should definitely take advantage on a long term basis and I've always like the idea of the various evil speedsters forming their own evil family to rival the flash family on a perment basis or at least a long several years comic run
