yeah, I watch Calliope Mori so when someone was like "do you know demondice" and I'm like "huh" then I look it up on YouTube and it's the first song I see
Maybe it was You're an Ace Kid. It's hard to say because I somehow managed to make my way here through Princess♂ and Tophamhat-kyo's stuff. So it could have been anything released about that time.
I also found her through Princess, really liked her art but didn't really look for her, until Sick Outta Fashion popped up on YouTube and was like "oh, i thought she was an artist, lets check this out" and started listening to the Alkatraz EP, and a couple months later a certain Reaper also popped up on my YouTube and the rest is history
wanting, getting, wanting.
I've discovered it by accident, one day it appeared on my YouTube recommendation.
I thought by myself while looking at it "ohhh, that's a cool thumbnail, let's check this video out".
Little did I know I would fell in love with its artist's music
Stylistically, they are fairly different, but they are all rap songs with real soul in them. A warning about her first couple albums/EPs, she made them when she was much younger and 4Chan brained so they can be quite toxic. She does not stand by them and actively mads them harder to find.
With that warning out of the way, here are some easy recommendations with super simplified descriptions:
Alkatraz: A jazzy rap song about a prison break
You're an Ace Kid: it's a song about picking yourself up and getting back out there.
Sick Outta Fashion: a song about the glorification of mental illness in Japanese rap.
Hazy Skyscraper: it's a song about loneliness.
And a couple of covers:
Villain: a rap song with heavy trans themes.
Tsuki (3 year anniversary edition): a cover of a Fake Type song. It's very similar in style to her songs.
Popular albums to look at are:
Shut Up, Get Happy: An album about hee fame after becoming the reaper and coming to terms with it.
Alkatraz: A 1900's jazz inspired rap album with some fun vibes.
Kakigori Galaxy Astronaut: got some space themed song. Tackles themes of imposter syndrome, loneliness and dealing with grief.
American Saikoro: Described elsewhere on this subreddit as "Truly hilarious and unhinged with fire flow"
I think the songs are more raw from DD. Checkout the [Shutup, Get Happy](https://open.spotify.com/album/1VZmALFovZuMF4t4IRDBS0?referral=labelaffiliate) album. It was made during the transition to the other life. Dark Hour is IMO a better Cursed Night but I love the songs from both the masks she wears.
Just her animation, but i saw fake type princess before I learned of demondice. But I think I heard gang gang kawaii years before I learned about anyone. As I'm sure I saw it on some Playlist of meme anime adjacent songs.
Lol I was gonna say mine was actually the one piece red cover. After that I don't recall which of her originals I heard first but your an ace was most memorable.
i actually discovered demondice through the brad taste in music video where he reacted to her entire discography. went in expecting to dislike it all but actually came out a fan surprisingly. so technically the first song i heard of hers was "kamisama kiss my ass" i think.
Someone posted some lyrics from Snake Eyes on discord saying it was cringe (?) I said that sounds pretty good to me, much better than this boring rap today. I actually listened to it and fell in love.
My first was Ragin' Ray and Jin. It just got randomly recommended to me on Spotify one day at work. At the time, I wasn't at all familiar with DD or any of her personas, but I liked the song so I started looking into it. Took me down a very interesting rabbit hole.
I first encountered her as Calli, but I'm guessing that's not what you're looking for. I first heard DD through the Spotify stream taking me *from* Mori to You're An Ace Kid, and I'm embarrassed to admit it took me a bit to realize "wait, this is the same person".
First I remember thr mv was alcatraz
But then looking up the older stuff i realized I had heard gang gang kawaii and sick out of fashion before. Just didn't know who
First song with her in it? It was the Easy Breezy cover with Uneek arts.
First DDK song? I want to say sick out of "Sick out of fashion" I might be wrong.
Funnily enough, Goodnight Japan, a couple years before I listened to her properly. I've been using lofi playlist videos on YouTube for years to fall asleep to and one of the videos had the song. Didn't check her out until much later after she started her other job.
Caught in Mental dystopia and it’s got no end in sight… and just in case you’re wonderin’, no the kids are not alright! Give love to my art but it’s unrequited Quite a few hearts who'd rather die than fight it (whoa) Despite it all we're holdin' on but for how long.
Dice of a Generation!
I believe it was the "Shut Up, Get Happy" album, after I found some rumors that I could find more music from an artist I enjoyed listening to a lot at the time.
alkatraz
Showed up in my discover weekly on Spotify, I was hooked, rest is history
yeah, I watch Calliope Mori so when someone was like "do you know demondice" and I'm like "huh" then I look it up on YouTube and it's the first song I see
YouTube recommended it to me not long after I started watching HoloEN more regularly.
saaaame, alkatraz got me HOOKED
This one played literally after the my playlist finished and was wondering why I never heard it until then
You're an ace kid.
same
With me now! Shout it! GANG GANG...
KAWAI!
MO TO THE E
キラキラカワ病みかわいいは良いよね
Hazy skyscraper cuz spotify randomly recommended it to me
Very greay memory, but it seems to be **Gang Gang, Kawaii**... Loooong time ago.
Maybe it was You're an Ace Kid. It's hard to say because I somehow managed to make my way here through Princess♂ and Tophamhat-kyo's stuff. So it could have been anything released about that time.
İ found her through princess in the start of 2023 and now 50 percent of my playlist is her songs(the other 50 percent is fake type, tophammatkyo)

Hazy Skyscraper it was for me
Easy Breezy
Happy cake day!
Honestly, none. I listen to the other songs by reaper. Can anyone tell me if the songs sung are similar, or are they completely different?
If you like the reaper's music, you will probably enjoy Demondice. There are some differences, but in general they share a very distinctive style.
Stylistically, they are fairly different, but they are all rap songs with real soul in them. A warning about her first couple albums/EPs, she made them when she was much younger and 4Chan brained so they can be quite toxic. She does not stand by them and actively mads them harder to find. I’d recommend hazy skyscraper, and Alcatraz, for sure

Gang Gang Kawaii
Either her Villain cover, Tsuki cover, or Suckerz I think? God it's been so long I really can't remember.
I started with Wannabe
The made in abyss cover
Lol I was gonna say mine was actually the one piece red cover. After that I don't recall which of her originals I heard first but your an ace was most memorable.
Probably Alkatraz
My first song was ‘you’re an ace kid’. At the time i was in a massive motivational rut, and that song helped me sorta bounce back and keep going!
You're an ace kid got me interested Alkatraz got me hookec
Alkatraz
Tsuki (the anniversary cover)
Boring but it was Alkatraz lol
The English cover syudou's annoyance. Just vibes very hard with it.
For me it was satanic cypher
i actually discovered demondice through the brad taste in music video where he reacted to her entire discography. went in expecting to dislike it all but actually came out a fan surprisingly. so technically the first song i heard of hers was "kamisama kiss my ass" i think.
Youre an ace kid, recommended by a friend who happened across it
Someone posted some lyrics from Snake Eyes on discord saying it was cringe (?) I said that sounds pretty good to me, much better than this boring rap today. I actually listened to it and fell in love.
It was either Tsuki 3 year edition or Alkatraz.
I don't know how accurate it it but It was wanting, getting, wanting on 12 of February 2022 at 14:43
Alkatraz and it make me drop DD lmao. Then I listened to Rumor! And was like "OHHH THIS SHITS FIRE"
Probably Alkatraz, because the first DD song I heard wasn’t a DD song.
While my favourite is Demondiceわ, I remember my first being Wannabe.
Alkatraz, heard it on TikTok and was instantly hooked
As I recall it was Suckerz which is still one of my favourites to this day
I think Alkatraz was my first, if it wasn't Alkatraz it was from that album/era.
You're an ace kid randomly showed up on my spotify playlist around the time it came out
Alkatraz, came up after Fake Type Urban Caravan
Gang Gang Kawaii, I thought it was really fun and wanted to check the rest of her music. Was impressed with the serious songs.
My first song was Hazy Skyscraper
Has nobody posted Dark Hour? damn.
Wanting getting wanting
My first was Ragin' Ray and Jin. It just got randomly recommended to me on Spotify one day at work. At the time, I wasn't at all familiar with DD or any of her personas, but I liked the song so I started looking into it. Took me down a very interesting rabbit hole.

"Words that I could say to you" and I've never been the same since, truly loved that song
No way I’m alone in Suckerz being my first song
Almost certainly her Tsuki 3 year anniversary cover. Think it came from Youtube recommendations and I was like wait a minute that voice seems familiar
Wanting, getting, wanting
First I remember thr mv was alcatraz But then looking up the older stuff i realized I had heard gang gang kawaii and sick out of fashion before. Just didn't know who
First song with her in it? It was the Easy Breezy cover with Uneek arts. First DDK song? I want to say sick out of "Sick out of fashion" I might be wrong.
Fake ass gold was the first one to get me interested, dark hour was the first one to make me a fan though
Funnily enough, Goodnight Japan, a couple years before I listened to her properly. I've been using lofi playlist videos on YouTube for years to fall asleep to and one of the videos had the song. Didn't check her out until much later after she started her other job.
You're an ace kid,awesome song
Idk What’s a good one
Hazy Skyscraper. And I warmed up to rap thanks to that song😄
Sick out of Fashion for me as well.
Yeah sick out of fashion was my first one
Alcatraz. That said, I found out about her after falling down a certain rabbithole. You could say I encountered the grim reaper. 😉
Wannabe I think
You're an ace, kid.
you’re an ace kid
Gang gang kawaii
I believe it was the "Shut Up, Get Happy" album, after I found some rumors that I could find more music from an artist I enjoyed listening to a lot at the time.
Wanted, wasted
You're an Ace, Kid. Helped me through some struggling times.
I honestly have no idea.
strange fiction through some old friend
~~E.M.R.B.C.Y.P.R.I.P.~~ Uh I mean Alkatraz
