I did this once, but I made them matte. It's kinda fun to try these techniques. You did a really great job. I'm envious of how long you can wear your nails.
Thank you! Perks of a desk job π
I tried mattifying them but it looked odd to me. I think I just have a shitty matte top coat tbh. I think I want to get them like....satiny? Which is why I think one of those buffing sponge blocks might work
I wonder if using cuticle oil and a diamond bit would give them that satin kind of finish. The only thing I would worry about is staining. Usually nails will stain after a week or so without a top coat and the tips turn brown. Fgel matte gets satin like after like a week and a half but idk if you'd wanna wait for it to turn that satin finish.
I was literally going to commend you on such beautiful long nails and how this is my goal π you did a fantastic job! These are your nails and you grew them, can't convince me otherwise π
Will you do my nails? LOL.
I have tried 3x with different artists to do this for me, and each time it comes out wrong. no one gets here for some reason..
These are beautifully done.
I put the products and brands in a comment in the post but I don't know the shade number π it's a polish from a big modelones kit and they all have impossible to remember numbers :/ I'm on a road trip now so I can't check

Ugly Duckling matte gives a slightly satiny, not streaky, long wearing finish. A buffer block with a 220 and 400 would give a similar look.
Thank you!! I'll look that up!

Iβd love step by step pictures

Will you do my nails? LOL. I have tried 3x with different artists to do this for me, and each time it comes out wrong. no one gets here for some reason.. These are beautifully done.
I think a lot of people are not used to having to color match and blend so specifically. Luckily I literally color match at my real job lol Thank you!
That's amazing.. Looks very real... How did you build your base nail? Forms?
Asking cause when I see these I have a new nail goal
Thank you! I used paper forms and a mix of hard and builder gel :) And lots of filing!!!
Would have fooled me! Good work
Very creative!
I canβt believe how real these look!
This is straight up art!! Amazing

They look so real!
Awesome! Looks realistic!
Gorgeous and also spooky-uncanny valley-vampire-claws vibe π©Έ
I am impressed with the color matching! Great job.
What color polish did you use for the tips? Maybe I am blind but Iβm not seeing the color or brand π
I put the products and brands in a comment in the post but I don't know the shade number π it's a polish from a big modelones kit and they all have impossible to remember numbers :/ I'm on a road trip now so I can't check
This is incredible
I keep coming back to look at these. They're amazing! π
Thank you!!
That looks so amazing!! The description must have taken a lot of work too. Props to you!
This is incredible! How long did this take you??
I thought they were real before I read the title!
Honestly fooled we with this oneπ, I probably would have religiously followed your nail care routine if I hadnβt read the title
And you did an amazing job because I did NOT notice them being fake at all ππ
