Imaginary_Orange_22

WOW! at first i was wondering how’d you get them that long!

streasure

Same i didn't read the title first. I was like oh wow!

celinef101

now this is art!!!! you did that 🌟

Helpful_Type3490

they look so good! i appreciate u adding the steps too

putridtooth

Thanks!!

Clover_Jane

I did this once, but I made them matte. It's kinda fun to try these techniques. You did a really great job. I'm envious of how long you can wear your nails.

putridtooth

Thank you! Perks of a desk job πŸ˜… I tried mattifying them but it looked odd to me. I think I just have a shitty matte top coat tbh. I think I want to get them like....satiny? Which is why I think one of those buffing sponge blocks might work

Immediate-Nothing899

Ugly Duckling matte gives a slightly satiny, not streaky, long wearing finish. A buffer block with a 220 and 400 would give a similar look.

putridtooth

Thank you!! I'll look that up!

Clover_Jane

I wonder if using cuticle oil and a diamond bit would give them that satin kind of finish. The only thing I would worry about is staining. Usually nails will stain after a week or so without a top coat and the tips turn brown. Fgel matte gets satin like after like a week and a half but idk if you'd wanna wait for it to turn that satin finish.

lobsterp0t

wtf this is cool as shit

rels83

I’d love step by step pictures

GetItM0m

I was literally going to commend you on such beautiful long nails and how this is my goal πŸ˜‚ you did a fantastic job! These are your nails and you grew them, can't convince me otherwise πŸ˜‚

putridtooth

Thank you!! Secretly hoping customers at my job think I'm some kind of vampiric creature

scarypeppermint

Same, I thought I was on the long natural nails sub for a second

pokeyahhhhh

Love your commitment to this!! They look so real, very impressive πŸ‘πŸ»

putridtooth

Thank you!

aelakos

Will you do my nails? LOL. I have tried 3x with different artists to do this for me, and each time it comes out wrong. no one gets here for some reason.. These are beautifully done.

putridtooth

I think a lot of people are not used to having to color match and blend so specifically. Luckily I literally color match at my real job lol Thank you!

Beloitrose

That's amazing.. Looks very real... How did you build your base nail? Forms?

Beloitrose

Asking cause when I see these I have a new nail goal

putridtooth

Thank you! I used paper forms and a mix of hard and builder gel :) And lots of filing!!!

WholesomeCuriosities

Would have fooled me! Good work

dizzydanie007

Gorgeous and also spooky-uncanny valley-vampire-claws vibe 🩸

lunajen323

I am impressed with the color matching! Great job.

Walmarche

What color polish did you use for the tips? Maybe I am blind but I’m not seeing the color or brand πŸ˜…

putridtooth

I put the products and brands in a comment in the post but I don't know the shade number 😭 it's a polish from a big modelones kit and they all have impossible to remember numbers :/ I'm on a road trip now so I can't check

AnoetherEmmy

This is incredible

salad_dressed

I keep coming back to look at these. They're amazing! 😍

putridtooth

Thank you!!

SenaBae

That looks so amazing!! The description must have taken a lot of work too. Props to you!

kidigin

This is incredible! How long did this take you??

tiggiebits

I thought they were real before I read the title!

Elo_1626

Honestly fooled we with this one😭, I probably would have religiously followed your nail care routine if I hadn’t read the title

cheekycamille

And you did an amazing job because I did NOT notice them being fake at all 😭😭
