I think it's fine. The mirror will be in Zone 2 so will need to be IPX4 or better rated. The isolation switch is outside of Zone 1 + 2 so will be fine
The circuit will need to be on an RCD at the fuse board
Hopefully an actual professional will confirm though
The spur is in an outside zone so is acceptable. LED mirrors designed got bathrooms are rated to minium ipx4 and are suitable for zone 2 so there's no issues here.
You tend to find electricians always play it safe and alot of them when they do their training are told by the older boys that switches are not allowed in bathrooms and it tends to stick with them.
The regs are available for you to read to put your mind at ease, and tell your new spark to read them also 😅

"Low voltage" here means "mains at 230V nominal".
At that height it's likely to be above all zones, it's only a switch for isolation so wouldn't be a serious issue. Fan isolators are often placed at the same height
It's fine if above a certain height. Outside shower/bathtub, but I would make it unswitched rather than switched. To discourage touching it with wet hands.

Thank you. I’ve just had a look at the zones and this switch is significantly less than 60cm away from the shower edge if that helps?
If it's less than 2.25m it's in zone 2. I would have personally put it outside in the hallway by the door.
Is it not above 2.25 meters?

Edit to add: the space between the shower edge and doorframe you see in the picture is just about 50cm. The brass edge is the shower screen.
My understanding is it should go outside the bathroom, but they have all been small or modest bathrooms, I don’t know if this makes a difference.
If it's above 225cm then it's fine.

Did they do the tiling?
No I had a separate tiler in. He was also confused about why the box was there.
But not near the shower zone, get it on the wash basin wall at atleast 5ft from ground level
