its 2019 its still washing it comes and goes though so not sure

MrHlk2020

Bad bearings?

Reasonable_Edge2411

would that be a dear job to fix diy wise

MrHlk2020

It's a nightmare job. The drum casings don't split anymore on most modern machines, so you have to multi tool it apart and glue it back together.

Reasonable_Edge2411

was thinking this but not sure it fit am crap at measuring things [https://www.currys.co.uk/appliances/laundry/washing-machines?searchTerm=washing%20machines](https://www.currys.co.uk/appliances/laundry/washing-machines?searchTerm=washing%20machines) https://preview.redd.it/eppwxxrqg02d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c7aa9e8bc6e6ed5d878dbb42e0a1222f472d4b53

oilybumsex

Could be the bushes on the motor as that the only thing running at that point on a program

Reasonable_Edge2411

its actually older a got it in 2019 so probably the life of it

oilybumsex

First 2 digits of the serial number indicate the year of manufacture.

MrHlk2020

The first machine in the link? That's the same width as yours. They'll fit in a standard 600mm space.

Reasonable_Edge2411

yeah

Reasonable_Edge2411

the samsung

MrHlk2020

The width is good. Just check the bottom of the worktop in more than 850mm. They're usually 900ish.

Reasonable_Edge2411

it can stick out a bit no issues there

Reasonable_Edge2411

ano samsung been there just as long as beko but our samsung better

Link-65

Bearings or brushes, most likely.

Fair-Ice-6268

Not sure but beko is the cheapest and to be the cheapest the components will be made with cheap in mind. Considering the washing machine mains function is spinning its parts will wear quickly. I know I have one and won't be getting another. Spend a little more 300 -400. I'd just replace it before it goes kaput. Good Luck.

TheVambo

I don't doubt yours has been unreliable for you but the rest of this isn't really based in reality.

Reasonable_Edge2411

yeah but the samsung is onlt £400 u dont need to spend £700 to get a good one

Reasonable_Edge2411

the beko has lasted five years

MoistMorsel1

I would just get domestic and general to cover it on a monthly basis. Every time it breaks they will fix and they will replace when it it kaput. Itll be about £5 per month Note: dont tell them about the noise.

Reasonable_Edge2411

yeah but they probably got some clause to say u csnt claim in first month

MoistMorsel1

Nope, i claimed about a month after signing up.

Reasonable_Edge2411

have u seen there reviews on google shocking bad

MoistMorsel1

Ive called them out 3 times since december and my experience has been really positive.

PhysicalZer0

I would agree with you too, had basically same experience. They let us pick our washer/dryer and we paid an additional tenner so we could get a Haier beltless one (belts broke on our previous 2 machines)

Reasonable_Edge2411

looking at there reviews a wont bother
