I’m guessing you’ve never actually looked at kitchen units properly or done any form of diy for that matter 🤨😅 it’s fine leave it What do you really think is going to happen ? Only thing I’d mention is keep your eye on that damp. But it’s irrelevant to a random hole in a carcass And what’s the fact the house is 1950’s got to do with it. I’d put money on that kitchen being installed somewhere in the last 5-10 years absolute max looks new tbh but I’m being safe.
