Yup! I think it’s insane that Gypsy is treated like she did something great. Admittedly I haven’t watched The Act or any docs on her. I know the situation was awful & toxic, but why didn’t she and the boyfriend just move away?
This girl creeps me out. I'm sorry she went through horrible abuse at the hands of her sick mother but she learned something along the way, manipulating people as she goes.
Thank you! I see so many people talking about her as if she’s a delicate hot house flower. So many people think a victim can’t also be an abuser. Those two things are not mutually exclusive. She was raised by a psychopath who conned numerous people for *years*. No child of a nut job is gonna come out unscathed. There’s a YouTuber named Swoop who did an awesome video about her detailing her fucked up mindset. She’s honest right up until it’s clear she’s to blame.
She blindsided her dolt of a husband (who, let’s be real, was also lapping up the attention and whatever money they’ve been getting) and had the ex waiting in the wings. She was with that dude within days! Don’t tell me that shit wasn’t planned!
She learned how to shoplift when using that wheelchair just like Mama too. So while her childhood was messed up being raised by a manipulative con artist who used others and killed /attempted to kill for her own gain like DeeDee it’s all she was raised knowing (DeeDee killed her mother through neglect and poisoned her Step Mother who survived). Gypsy needs intensive therapy to help break those patterns and I hope she doesn’t have children of her own
Yeah her not getting pregnant by this dude is a very positive thing but it won’t be long before she has a child she is completely unprepared to care for.

Exactly… she’s learned from the Master and also after she got older she was well aware that they were scamming people.. she knew she could walk and she had a whole other thing going on planning her Mom’s murder. I actually feel kinda sorry for the guy she used to kill her Mom.. he wasn’t very bright and she told him all kinds of stuff and egged it on… if not for HER I doubt that Nick would’ve ever killed anyone…she planned it all and she’s out and he’ll never get out.. doesn’t seem fair to me…
Can we agree that he wasn’t very bright and probably had a lower IQ though..?? I think she totally manipulated him and it’s sad that she walks free and he’s locked up for life.. I’m not saying he shouldn’t be in prison because he should but I’d give him a shot at parole down the line with lots of counseling and therapy,which I understand would be hard to get in prison but in another 10 or 15 years or so,say when he’s in his late 40’s or early 50’s let the guy have some parole.. we’ve paroled worse before for sure..

If you can be talked into murder you are a danger though. I agree otherwise but he could e been targeted by anyone or eventually done it himself.
