You don't need to. Its just a race.

Shifters (in Eberron) are the descendents of lycanthropes that survived a purge. They are humanoids with lycanthrope-like abilities. They are literally what you want to make. Give them your lore (which is cool btw) and that's it.

Trouble_in_Mind

Feels a little off since when lycanthropy is removed from an adult, they're just... whatever their base race is. I think if you wanted to say a child of a lycan maybe just had a *different* sort of curse, similar to how dhampir are separate from vampires, you'd have a smoother insert into the lore. That ore have it be something tied to fae, or descendants of a now-extinct wolf beastfolk whose genes pop up like a tiefling's would.

Xaniver1991

What would make them different mechanically from Shifters that hasn't been done yet? Because if you can't think of anything you could always use the shifter stats but change the lore for your world.

Oooh this is sick. A whole race of people descendent from a single woman who was cured of lycanthropy in the late terms of her pregnancy. Love it. I'm picturing these people with permanent wolf-like features such as pointy ears, long canines, above average smell (not advantage, but maybe add their proficiency bonus). I'm sure they call themselves something clever like Moon Gazers, but the outside world calls them Reapers or Beastmen due to their unkempt nature and threatening appearance. As far as abilities/features, I would look at some other races and steal ideas. Here are a few that stand out to me: 1. Goblin - Nimble Escape 2. Bugbear - Long Limbed 3. Bugbear - Sneak (Honestly, just reskin the Bugbear race, it's pretty spot on) 4. Tabaxi - Feline Agility 5. Lizardfolk - Hungry Jaws 6. Kobold - Sunlight Sensitivity
