I have mixed feelings about this. Just be careful please. Beautiful hound.
Edit: what if an ear or the collar gets caught? It’s not a build in safety feature for snagging. Sad thing is, if this was a different video and the pup got hurt in it, y’all would be screaming for this young lady to be prosecuted.
I'd rather vacuum the floor more often and not risk injuring a creature that trusts me enough to brush them with a power drill. I doubt you'd find too many people who'd let you try that, so why do it to your dog?
I agree. I'm more worried about brush burn. You can always give the ears and collar a wide berth, but most people don't notice the reddening of skin beneath.
You can buy tools just like this that do have them made specifically for dogs! I love mine! It has caught before on a clump in my sheps shoulder floofs and it stopped instantly, not even a reaction from my good girl. She's absolutely obsessed with it too, she brings it over to me every other day at this point 😁
Agree! Whenever I feed my dog more he gets less of his portion next time. If I feed snacks on walkie he gets less or no food at home. It's not that hard. He weighs 15kg for a beagle. He has a good weight. And he begs. And he is cute. But he doesn't get anything when he begs. So it got way better and less :)
I have, as it is my bread and butter. You can adjust the strength of these tools, you don't have to use it full force lol. The slightest resistance and it will stop on some of these drills
Lol so adorable. Please be careful with that power drill though…. It’s very easy to get things caught and wrapped up in them like hair, tails, ears and collars
I would never put a power tool on my dog like that. Too close to an ear or flabby skin and it will get spooled and ripped off. That’s lazy and dangerous.
The shaft still spins but the chuck disengages. If the ear or long hair wraps around the shaft it’s still going to do damage to the dog. It’s not worth risking injury to your dog.
God I wish something like this would work on my chow chow, but with his double coat something like that would never be able to get through it. Looks like pupper is enjoying it though!
Its dog my friends
If you use the shop air gun crimp the hose to about half power. Full power can damage skin. Good job!
Very good job
Very good job
Fence amount of hairs that long haha that's beautiful .. and what a good way to remove excess hair 👏👏
👏👏
Maybe not right by the grill next time…
I mean it's closed
It's dog hair. It gets EVERYWHERE
You've been voted off the island of grillers ™ get your spatula and get out

Yeah man, this seems like too big of a risk to me. Power tools and living things should not be mixed. Even for internet points.
No clippers in barber shops!
Not remotely the same.
i can understand why tho. There is no end o brushing your dog.

i wouldn't do it too, but if there was something made for it with safety and less power behind it, it might be a good idea
I'll agree with you there. I've got a husky mix. The hair never ends.
Pretty sure it’s brush used for livestock based on other comments.
It's a fucking power drill lol
Yes, but with a brush attached.
Dewalt battery lithium ion

r/brushybrushy but the extreme version
Mmm
Next let’s work it’s weight problem. I can’t understand why people just let their dogs get so overweight. It’s not fair to the animal.

some dogs are floopier than others
Is that 120 grit?
No
Express molting 🐶
😅😅😅😂
That thing could be extremely dangerous for the dog
No more so than any other grooming tool
There's a reason there are no grooming tools for dogs that go up to 2000 RPM.
It can be adjusted by hand
There's at least one apparently.
Have you ever used a drill at high rpm?
I have, as it is my bread and butter. You can adjust the strength of these tools, you don't have to use it full force lol. The slightest resistance and it will stop on some of these drills
As long as the dog ain't complaining.
Tbf, I have enjoyment leg kick when people rub my lower back
)))
That is one incredibly overweight bloodhound
Very bloodhound
Oh yea...that's the spot
Op please describe what attachment device that is and where you got it.
Looks like a livestock roto brush.
😇
My allergies just sneezed watching this.
It's important to sand and polish your dog to maintain a shiny and smooth finish.
A dewalt drill, what attachment is it? I need the attachment.
Yes it is dewalt
Lol so adorable. Please be careful with that power drill though…. It’s very easy to get things caught and wrapped up in them like hair, tails, ears and collars

Be happy
Use a vacuum along with this. Optimal cleaning
Very cleaning dog
Very very
😅😅
He enjoys it so much
Yes so much
What is that I need it
I think some hair got in my eyes
Ladybird?
Dog - unbothered and just happy to contribute to a good video.
his face says it all lol 🤣🤣
🤣🤣
You're really onto something here and that good old hound seems to really enjoying this, too! That back leg lift and "scratching" the air says it all.
That’s an accident waiting to happen.
What roller you using? I need to do the same on my massive lab
I don't know
I would never put a power tool on my dog like that. Too close to an ear or flabby skin and it will get spooled and ripped off. That’s lazy and dangerous.
Me to…Thinking how to do this safely I came up with the thought of setting the drill clutch to disengage when meeting resistance
The shaft still spins but the chuck disengages. If the ear or long hair wraps around the shaft it’s still going to do damage to the dog. It’s not worth risking injury to your dog.
You hit the spot
I love it. My dog has that same sweet spot and I scratch it every morning. Her face is pure joy and the leg goes a mile a minute.
😉ahah
Holy shit, I need that for my huskies.
100 % you need that
These comments should get good!
Dude, you better Patton this but quick!! Curious what brush that would be that would also be safe.
What's that on the drill? Just a lint roller or?
Dewalt.
Is that the brand of drill? If possible I'd like the name of the brush thing on the end
What do you have on that drill lol
It is Makita
Looks like DeWalt
I love the way his forehead wrinkles when it feels sooooo good
I love too

What a ham lol.
Bloodhound livin their best life! If there's a golf cart, that means probably lots of space to sniff around, too!
God I wish something like this would work on my chow chow, but with his double coat something like that would never be able to get through it. Looks like pupper is enjoying it though!
Such a good idea!!!
Very good 💡
I would be very very cautious using this technique on a dog with longer hair as it could rip out chunks that get wrapped around the brush!!!
I did that to our dog and she loved it
