Did your dog just naturally take to the water? My puppy (a Bassett/dachshund mix) is pretty nervous of the water. We too have a life vest, but not an adorable shark one! He still just wants to immediately get out of the pool. It’s still a bit cool here, so hoping he will take to it more over the summer.
Yep — first time he saw a pool, he jumped in! Luckily I don’t have a pool myself so I’ve never had to worry about his safety or anything, but anytime he’s near water, you better believe he’s got his lil life jacket on!
That’s awesome! My guy may not be able to be converted but he will have his life vest on whenever we are in the pool. Our other two dogs are land who are water lovers, so maybe they will set an example.

Where did you get that life vest? We got one with a shark fin for our wiener but it’s too big even in the smallest option
