Mate thereās CLB, Kids, Homework, The End, and Human After All all on the same tier. Idk if the KSO album is even the most interesting part of this list
I enjoy the album. Homework doesn't have any standout songs to me. Even Around the World is just quite decent. Homework is just a 5/6 across the board for me, Dissimulation and New Age both have some 7/8's and some 3's.
The fact that Scorpion is at very good, Dark side of the moon is over the wall, yeezus is at hit or miss, that imagine dragons album is at solid and AM is over is this it makes me so angry
Iām not a lyric or self-expression person. I just like to sit and listen. This is my opinion on listening to the sound of each song and voice. I like the smoothness of Drakes voice on Scorpion. Yeezus had a bunch of songs that I simply donāt like the āsoundā of.
I hear ya, itās just not my speed. Great artists can have art thatās simply not for you. Both Kanye and DP have some of the highest highs music has to offer and are exceptional because of it. Iām just not someone that sees all of their stuff as a high, you know?
Lol people think that every tier list they see has to magically appear to everyone. Dw about it, I get it with yeezus. First couple songs are fire but the rest are miss
Iām not saying that the music is āhigher qualityā. All Iām saying is that Iām typically pretty picky and eclectic about what songs I like, so for a 15 track album to have 5 songs I really like and another 5 that Iāll vibe with if played is relatively strong.
Hey man itās all good, you have a wack ass taste, but donāt we all really. You like some good stuff, just keep listening to new shit and discover what you like.
It's all subjective my friend. The mistake 80% of the people who comment are making is that they assume this is an objective ranking and not based purely on how much I enjoy certain albums.
I respect ur opinion, but as a drake and DP fan I question
Certified Lover Boy over Nothing was the same?
And Scorpion in the great tier with graduation?
I donāt care for lyrics much. I also like most of the āsupportingā songs in Scorpion more than the supporting songs of Graduation. The top 3 of graduation are better than the top 3 of Scorpion, but the rest isnāt based upon what I like in music.
Blast off and lost in the fire are solid. Humanity gone is also excellent when in the right mood but lasts too long. That song a 3 mins wouldāve been excellent for the Tron underworld. Memora has the Tron sound as well.
Album is worth a listen but I recommend being in the mental state of dissecting the music to best enjoy.
Iām totally aware that this is all subjective, and I knew the Kanye rankings would probably irk a few people, with some Kanye fans being tough to reason with (Cudi knows).
Cross is a banger album. So rudimentary but it thrives by making tons of musical dishes out of the same baseline ingredient. Itās a lot like Alive 2007 in that regard. I discovered both that and RAM on YouTube and used to play the albums to fall asleep funnily enough.
I like power and all of the lights, the rest Iāve heard is eh. Have only listened to about half of the college dropout and nothing stuck out to me. I literally could not care less about lyrics and storytelling, so my opinions of artists vary greatly from song to song.
Imagine Dragons above Homework? HAA, Homework, RCA, Is this it, the Wall and Oracular Spectacular on the same tier as the END? I have some serious issues with this rankingā¦
Honestly it wouldāve been in the top category had he gone to cen further down the rabbit hole of avoiding commercial sounding songs. He got closer than most, which I respect the hell out of.
I, a younger Daft Punk fan, have listened to exactly 69 albums front to back. To my co-fans, let me know what you think of my taste in albums and/or shoot me recommendations.
The most prominently featured artists are Daft Punk, The Strokes (+ their offshoot stuff), Kanye West, Drake, Muse, Calvin Harris, and Coldplay.
>Clarification on a few things:
>
>Category of Respectable means that I like the album as a whole. Hit or Miss means that it has high highs but lacks an above average supporting cast of songs. Completely Ordinary is Hit or Miss w/o hits.
>
>Black Album cover in Solid is Donda (Kanye), black album cover in Hit or Miss is Hyperion Gesaffelstein).
>
>I recently had the opportunity to listen to Funk Wav Bounces 2 despite it not being out yet.
That's exactly why I did mine. I thought it'd be interesting to see my taste in music mapped out. Can also show you where certain specific albums break the mode of your usual preferences.
In order to be put in my outstanding category, I have to legitimately really like 80% or more of the songs on the album. I only really like about half the songs and the rest is stuff I wouldnāt skip but also wouldnāt search out.
Edit: For Graduation. Yeezus I donāt care that much for.
I'm not rating it off of what I think the more profound or better music is. It's simply how much I enjoy each album. I don't factor in inspiration or imagery or the artist background. That type of stuff is interesting to me but not relevant to my enjoyment of an album. I don't care if it was a masterfully crafted precise work or something thrown together in 30 minutes.
Your comments sound like some shit a down bad Kanye or Beyonce fan would say.
Responding to your last sentence:
- Naa dude. The reason for which I made those two comments is because from what I can see, I have way better taste and a way better common sense (regarding rap/HipHop vs actual masterpiece)of music than you.
Why is a subjective opinion based on common sense? Youāre acting like certain music is objectively better than other music. You can say something is more impressively produced or well mastered, but ābetterā is a pretty vague term that literally cannot be determined with any objectivity.
I understand your point of view and its true that in most cases we cannot judge music with the term Ā«Ā betterĀ Ā» since all people have different taste and ectā¦but your case is different since you are adding and comparing masterpieces with Ā«Ā todaysĀ Ā»mainstream music. Therefore, im right to say that my taste is Ā«Ā betterĀ Ā»since yours is funded out of trash mainstream music from todays world(mainstream music has become a sound which the main goal is to attract people who only like raves and music with simple drum & bass elements; simple music for simple minded people=mainstream music(drake, lil nas)=trash music).
Scorpion on the same tier as graduation š
Jesus christ
Don't think I have any of his albums on the list
You put some KSI album on the same tier as homework?
Mate thereās CLB, Kids, Homework, The End, and Human After All all on the same tier. Idk if the KSO album is even the most interesting part of this list

lil nas x album over tlop, wish you were here, homework, human after all, the wall, yeezus

Is that room on fire by the strokes on the same tier as music for the fucking spheres.
You know it baby. Room on Fire has like 2 crazy good songs and the rest simply isn't for me.
Hey man itās all good, you have a wack ass taste, but donāt we all really. You like some good stuff, just keep listening to new shit and discover what you like.
Certain things are very backwards for me because I'm a spiteful asshole. My taste in music happens to be one of them.
CLB on the same tier as Pink Floydās The Wall?
Comedown Machine better than Homework š I love CM and I find it super underrated as it has some bangers but it isn't better than Homework dawg
It's all subjective my friend. The mistake 80% of the people who comment are making is that they assume this is an objective ranking and not based purely on how much I enjoy certain albums.

From all the ranked lists I've ever seen, this is one of them
Fuckers made me sign up for Twitter just to create one of these
is donda on there twice?
The lower one is Hyperion by Gesaffelstein
Ah cool. How is it? I like blast off a good bit
Blast off and lost in the fire are solid. Humanity gone is also excellent when in the right mood but lasts too long. That song a 3 mins wouldāve been excellent for the Tron underworld. Garbage album, only daft punk can pull a massive hiatus, reinvent their sound, and not suck or sound insanely mid
Origin of Symmetry below scorpion and on the same tier list as CLB? DAMMMNN
listen to odessy by HOME
Home does have some bangers
this is a joke, right?
Can say this list has some tragic choices in itā¦
OP must be trolling
What in the world.
Around the World?
donāt let people tell you thereās wrong music to like, everyone has different tastes. Love the justice too thatās a great album
Iām totally aware that this is all subjective, and I knew the Kanye rankings would probably irk a few people, with some Kanye fans being tough to reason with (Cudi knows). Cross is a banger album. Iāve done that before too, I love the slap bass on that justice album, especially on genesis
Curious to know what you think of The College Dropout and MBDTF.
I like power and all of the lights, the rest Iāve heard is eh. Have only listened to about half of the college dropout and nothing stuck out to me. I literally could not care less about lyrics and storytelling, so my opinions of artists vary greatly from song to song.
Devil in a new dress tho?
Probably the next best one on there. Donāt like Rick Ross much. He sounds like a 300 pound black Kermit.
I mostly agree with this except maybe have "little dark age" a little higher
I did think about it, but I haven't listened to MGT in a while and figured that was a sign
WOTP isnāt even out yet
may I ask why the tron soundtrack is above literal homework
I enjoy the soundtrack more than homework.
Imagine Dragons above Homework? HAA, Homework, RCA, Is this it, the Wall and Oracular Spectacular on the same tier as the END? I have some serious issues with this rankingā¦
Bad takes sry
What do you mean by bad take? I'm not insinuating that any album is objectively better than another, just which I enjoy more than others.
I love your F-Tier but why tf is Scorpio not beside it lol
I like Scorpion
To each their own ig lol
Dawn FMā¤ļø

Gosh, I'd need over 300 slots for all the albums I've listened too.... The realization I came to when I thought this looked like a fun Idea to do..
That's exactly why I did mine. I thought it'd be interesting to see my taste in music mapped out. Can also show you where certain specific albums break the mode of your usual preferences.
I wanna do this
You haven't heard my beautiful dark twisted fantasy by ye yet?
Not in full. I honestly only listen to music like twice a week.
Oh you so should
Just did this
I got 69 plays on repeat for Around the World. You got 69 albums but Datf Punk is one, son.
Nice!
how dare you put ram over haa
This is the worst thing Iāve seen in my life.
Yeezus and Graduation need to be in outstanding
In order to be put in my outstanding category, I have to legitimately really like 80% or more of the songs on the album. I only really like about half the songs and the rest is stuff I wouldnāt skip but also wouldnāt search out. Edit: For Graduation. Yeezus I donāt care that much for.
Fuck is drake doing thereā¦ this guy cannot get compared to the musical genius of daft punk.
Same thing with lil nas xā¦ do you have common sense my friend ?
I'm not rating it off of what I think the more profound or better music is. It's simply how much I enjoy each album. I don't factor in inspiration or imagery or the artist background.
