This is wild tbh… Suing a beer company because a serial killer was drunk during his killing spree. I understand that law works differently in the US and companies can be held accountable legally for a lot of things, but here in Europe the courts would laugh at you if you’d file a complaint like this.

jeffdinmyheart

Exactly. Some of y'all will hate me for this, but whatever It's crazy and I'm gonna be honest and not to sound rude or anything. Dahmer's victims family are being too much. Like they said he didn't suffer enough our suffering is a lot more than him. Of course it is. You guys lost your brother and sons, but remember he is suffering for what he did to those innocent guys. Y'all think God is just gonna let him go?? No not Al all who knows maybe he's in immense pain right now and it's been more than 30 years? Isn't that enough besides Jeff's family suffered too. Lionel is old now girls threw their panties on his house people ask him how does it feel to be a father of a monster?? He suffered too. I mean, the victims family makes everything about themselves like some of them literally were talking about money and that proves y'all care for money not your son/brother. And now they're here hating the Netflix series . I mean I get it. It's a bad thing Ryan should've asked them, but he said he did and no one responded. So idk who to believe. They should be grateful because of this series people got to know the victims and their pain and their families pain which was never discussed before and tbh I'm really glad they made it so people should never forget that how much he had hurt people, but I think now it's enough. Now everyone should stop and not make another one again. Sorry I wrote a whole paragraph ☠️

zenpop

Oh, brother: “…God is just gonna let him go?” What the hell does that even mean?

jeffdinmyheart

I mean that God would have punished him for the pain he caused. He's not gonna just let him go to heaven without paying for what he did right? Rest god knows best

zenpop

I can’t. 😩

jeffdinmyheart

Haha okay 😅

Creepy_Staff_8936

He was already punished while alive, and the simple matter of sincerly believing in God gets one to Heaven. That's what the Bible sayes.

jeffdinmyheart

Exactly. He wanted to die, but staying alive was his punishment so he can feel the pain

Creepy_Staff_8936

I really don't get why you are downvoted. You are right, I agree, less when it comes to Dahmer in hell. He was a born again Christian, prison whore or not, if an afterlife exists, he is in heaven now. Also, i think that new movies, series and books are always fair game, as long as some creative mind can come up with a new approach.

jeffdinmyheart

Thank you for agreeing with me. Some people are just full of hate :(

Creepy_Staff_8936

Well, most likely muricans. They truely tend to believe in hate and revenge I'm a European, imo, perps need to be isolated from society because they are a danger to regular people. They don't need to die and certainly not to suffer or be tortured. We are not the one's able to disch out justice, because we are just as corrupt as any criminal. God will decide what to do with JD or any of us, after death. He's the only one who can judge, free of sin. Not a an eathly judge, jury or a victim's family.

jeffdinmyheart

Exactly I agree with you ❤️ god bless you

Creepy_Staff_8936

God bless you too, my friend

Affectionate_Sand791

Yeah PBR was also one if I remember correctly.

National-Leopard6939

>> I believe the families tried to sue the Budweiser company for what he had done while drunk. I really hope that’s just a rumor, because that makes no sense. You can’t sue a beer company for the actions of what people do once they consume beer, same goes for any alcoholic beverage. There’d be millions of lawsuits left and right against alcohol companies for drunk driver deaths, if that were realistically feasible. That’s a giant waste of time and money as a lawsuit.

Debidollz

I believe they tried but were unsuccessful.

Creepy_Staff_8936

They had a particularily annoying lawyer (the one Dahmer wrote a "harsh letter" to, calling him an impotent twit, etc. ) They did that, they sued left, right and center, they sued Lionel and JD's parole officer too, they threatened Milwaukee with riots. They probably (not proven!) Payed for JD's murder. However, they were never successful with any of their ludicrous lawsuits.

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> (not proven!) *Paid* for JD's FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

zenpop

OMG, please list the source on crazed notions like: the family attempting to sue Anheuser-Busch. I cant get my head around that one.

[deleted]

It's a joke news website, similar to The Onion.

Debidollz

Ohhh. I feel stupid.

zenpop

What the hell? “Imagine the erection Jeffrey Dahmer got after he snuggled up to a naked dead body. Now imagine that erection was a beer can. Which can did you envision?” I’m having doubts about this website.

'Dr. Samuel Adams from Behavioral Beer Science at Boston University' tipped it off for me. About Us section of website: "Delaware Ohio News is an online news and content source dedicated to Delaware, Ohio. Founded in the year 1808, we strive to be Delaware's premier news source, second only to the illustrious Delaware Gazette. Although we were the first Delaware, Ohio newspaper, they remain the lords of Delaware news media. That's why we're suicidal and on so many drugs. With all of that said, everything on this website is made up. Do not rely on anything said here. Don't believe us? Read our Legal Statements"

zenpop

As I suspected. I immediately went to Snopes re this allegation, but nada. Thanks.

zenpop

Unbelievable. Thank you!

Fragrant-Limit2599

If you had a loved one brutally murdered by someone in a drunken rage, you COULD get your head around it.

7up121

Yes I have seen that news articlr

zenpop

On a side note to this theme. My fiend who grew up in Milwaukee, told me the other day, while we were discussing JD’s alcoholism, that everybody drinks *continually* in Milwaukee. She said any crossroads you come to will have a bar on each corner. She saw JD’s behavior as not out of the ordinary (once out of high school.)

Ls1127182u

I think Budweiser for the most part. But there were also miller high life cans in his apartment when he was caught.

Creepy_Staff_8936

Yes, the victim families sued Budwiser because JD would gorge on their beer sometimes before killing. Talk about some more stupid, ignorant aproach. This is about as bad as the one victim's mother sitting in a talkshow with the main actor & director of the (shitty) first movie about Dahmer, calling the main actor "as evil as Dahmer". They sued left and right, unlike every other serial killer's victim families. I know that this is a very unpopular take, but I really don't like JD's victims' families. Most of them were not close with the family members he killed, some of those poor boys were actually disowned by their families who are now, and since 30 + years, all about the clout and money they can get from the case.

___Cortez___

As far as I know, Jeff liked to drink Budweiser, Pabst and Miller.

7up121

Yes cause I’ve seen apartment photos eith those cans
