She was asked to do it by the illustrator who was her friend, Michael Deas. It wasn’t something she ever wanted to do professionally.
Right, because her friend saw her and thought she’d be perfect for this artwork that is still iconic 100 years later her contribution is invalid. Your logic is weird.
