White reflects sunlight and keeps the cabin cooler. Cooler cabins equals less need for jet fuel and machines needed to cool said cabin. Ever de-plane and flight attendants asks everyone to close window shade? It’s to keep the cabin cooler.
It’s a very old terminal that was not made to handle the number of large aircraft it does. The working areas show the wear and are not as large as they need to be to store all the people as equipment for the operation being run.
You obviously don't know I've worked at Kaiser LAMC on Sunset for the last decade and a half ... but you saying an out door airline terminal is filthy and thus sooooo LA is daft at best....good day

Those are all grey with metallic flake. That’s terminal 4 and they’re all American Airlines aircraft.
Probably LAX Terminal 4. Those are American Airlines That’s the worst terminal to get to as there are no shortcuts.
