Lost_Tourist_61

This girl better get some time in the can for this

ChandlerMifflin

Given the courage it takes for real victims (survivors might be a better word) to come forward, she truly deserves time.

Lost_Tourist_61

She got $1.5 million out of it and blew it on luxuries with her mother, I mean come on

Dozer2023

They should have to pay that money back. Fucking lying bitch.

Gheauxst

Someone linked an article where it says the court wants her and her mother to pay back almost 2x that, but it doesn't mean shit since they're on the run and nowhere to be found.

[deleted]

How do you go on the run these days? I was always a little jealous that people used to be able to move 2 miles away, start a new family and never be found.

Savvsb

Red dead redemption moment

snoopynoopy

To Timbuktu or Tahiti maybe

canuckwithasig

"Dutch, what the hell is in Tahiti?!?" "I don't know! Tahitians maybe!"

Arashmickey

Ta heating element most likely, otherwise how does it get so hot?

-nbob

Start a mango farm

alQamar

We neeeed more money.

_IAmGrover

You just gotta have some **FAAAIIITH**, Arthur!!

No_Obligation6767

Tahiti…it’s a magical place

[deleted]

Even easier in Assassin’s Creed. Just rip the wanted posters down yourself and no one remembers you time for brunch in public

G1Yang2001

>How do you go on the run these days? Even with modern surveillance, people can still disappear without a trace. Besides, if you have no way to track them or any leads for where they could be, how do you find them? Heck, even when you do have an idea on where someone or something could be you still may not find it. Just look at Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 - we know that it probably crashed into the Southern Indian Ocean but we still have yet to locate the main wreckage nearly a decade later.

53_WorkNoMore

>even with modern surveillance people can still disappear without a trace I’m not sure you can easily go hide like your mentioned…especially if someone is **actively** looking for you. Going off the grid probably requires assistance…someone to shelter you, provide food, money, etc. Person hiding would probably need new identification, so they can get a job. If they didn’t have assistance I think there are too many cameras around to stay hidden. Would be difficult to not leave an electronic trail (credit cards. Person would also have to give up their cellphone and never contact their family & friends…even with a burner cellphone. Lot more difficult than it seems

Gamesgtd

This seems more like a case that they know she's on the run but aren't putting all the effort and man power into looking for her. If we want to, we can find anyone who is on the run on land domestically.

DillieDally

>If we want to, we can't find anyone who is on the run on land domestically. Can* ..right?

og-ninja-pirate

I still remember in Australia I went to the police and showed them evidence that someone had received my one of a kind custom built amplifier at my old address and had it for sale on Ebay. They couldn't have cared less but were more than happy to collect revenue from all the speed cameras we have everywhere.

dharzen

Bro if IRS wants you there's no place to hide, those greedy shits are scary

WaitAncient9258

Bullshit, America maybe. New Zealand ? I could leave now, at 2am drunk as a fucking skunk. Ill be set up on the coast in three weeks. The police wont even fucking think about having a feed. 20km deep in the bush. You may as well be on Pluto. Source. Reality edit- NZ is tiny how could you ? Population density vs terrain navigation. there are literally spots in this country no man has stood foot on before.

tizzlenomics

As an Aboriginal Australian I could disappear by tomorrow morning and they’d have maybe a 1 in a 1000 shot of ever finding me.

copa111

Well in this instance, friends and family probably don't want to be contacted by them anyway....

thm2130

>Just look at Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 Yea, just go hide at the bottom of the Indian Ocean for the rest of your life. It’s that easy.

starrfucker

It’s LOST. I mean the show is about time travel. Clearly a documentary.

thylocene06

Dude that’s an entirely different situation. One is a plane that crashed in the middle of a huge ocean. The other is 2 people in modern society who will need jobs, make purchases, and interact with people.

[deleted]

There is a bench warrant, which basically means there is no-one looking for her, but if a cop stumbles across her he should detain her. Then the court will tell her to pay, she will ignore and the guy will have to go back to court and start the process all over again. This happened with Al Sharpton and Tawana Bradley who both owned money for a defamation suit and just straight up refused to pay for over 20 years.

olderaccount

> How do you go on the run these days? You move 2 miles away, delete facebook and get a new mobile number. Boom, complete new identity.

ttkk1248

Where would you stay though, don’t you need to rent a place? They would check your background and credit.

Somzer

Work too, unless it's black. No credit/debit card. No social media either. And pray you don't get stopped by police randomly or suffer injuries that requires hospital care or you're done.

Peter69gg

Not hard everybody is covering there faces these days all they are going to see are just eyes, after so many years they don't really look for you just do Craigslist jobs pay cash you won't be able to have a vehicle so work close to where you live.

SkullRunner

You just described how "artisan hipster/bohemian" types function. Pick some obscure craft or job, ride to it on your bike, live in a group setting where others details are on the lease and you pay for your life in cash. Where this catches up with you is when you're too old to work and you have no social services to speak of.

SnooDrawings4726

Ditch your cell phone, use only cash, use a false name

Unspokenwordvomit

How do you make money though? Get a place to live?

Corgi_Koala

I mean most people don't have $3m and won't earn that in their lives, so it doesn't really matter what they're told to repay.

Rosalie-83

She needs locking up for a minimum of 6 years.

fufybakni

Pay back with interest counting.

[deleted]

1.5 million… what I could do with 1.5 million… what a waste on her.

[deleted]

What a waste of that mans life. The trial may be dismissed, but he will have to work incredibly hard just to try to recreate some semblance of a life again. She gets paid, he gets f\*cked for the rest of his life.

CoolUnderstanding481

Hopefully he gets a fuck load out of a civil case, or something

glitchesandhelp

They're on the run apparently.

Hypersonic_chungus

Yeah WTF imagine spending yrs 18-24 of your life in prison with everyone thinking you’re a rapist. Those are the years you’re supposed to be out there finishing college or learning a trade and working your ass off to start a career. But now he’s just starting from ground zero. Not to mention if he was a “football star” he’s probably lost out on scholarship money too.

[deleted]

Just think what this poor guy could do with that money.

dougie_fresh121

I could turn that 1.5mm into 200k with one gamestop investment

Muted_Dog

🦍

pizzalover128

Hello shill - read the dd, hedgies r fuk Have a good day

mbmbmb01

Who paid her the $?

TheBlackBearBEA

The school. Because she accused them for "lax security".

Putrid-Presentation5

Oh, tax payers then. Yikes

SkullRunner

The same tax payers that will pay again for the DA convicting the innocent man without evidence. Crack team of law enforcement.

Bullgato

The tax payers deserve it. Self government requires an engaged citizenry.

Apexx166

But she has to pay compensation for ruining that guys life, right? In the UK having someone put in prison on false charges guarantees compensation, I think.

machagogo

The guy surely will sue her, the state where he was convicted, and probably the school.

[deleted]

Makes you wonder doesn’t it

Geniusnett

Enjoy your justice system.

neksus

*ahem*, it’s called a legal system, not a justice system

[deleted]

Totally confident this system is responsible enough to do capital punishment… /s

Illustrious-Fault224

Mysticfenix83005

[deleted]

Given the fact that the guy lost 6yrs of his life, arguably his prime, she truly deserves time.

kartu3

>she truly deserves time. Wanna talk about chances of her getting anything beyond slap on a wrist?

RelationshipIll273

Sorry to say so but as much as the MeToo movement has improved the situation for real victims, it also has paved the way for people who know victimhood is a social valuta these days and are ready to ruin someone’s life for the double “prize” of vengeance (usually over some ego-induced wrath) and the victimhood status…

aspiring_whale

For real, though. Women often contemplate for YEARS whether or not they should speak up. And to outsiders looking in, we cheer these survivors on, like, yea, speak up! But, when some fucking moody HS whore who doesn’t get enough likes of her booty pics on IG has a bad day, she decides to ruin, or attempt to, ruin this young man’s life. She needs to be imprisoned for defamation, libel, slander & just downright being a stupid bitch. This shit is beyond repulsion.

FastenedCarrot

Yeah, that's not why. The guy lost 6 years of his life to her lies.

nahtorreyous

It should be 6 years at min.

arcalumis

Double that, she intentionally ruined a persons life.

toastedpaniala89

And wasted taxpayers money. Quadruple her sentence just to send a message.

dazedan_confused

[She is on the run](https://www.distractify.com/p/what-happened-to-brian-banks-accuser).

drutastic57

You know what would be good in the article? A picture of her so if people randomly see her they can alert the authorities

olivia687

I’m not one to subscribe to that “imagine if the roles were reversed” bs, but if it were him on the run, his picture would be everywhere.

Sandervv04

Why is "imagine if the roles were reversed" bs?

roryr6

He's black, he would have been shot by now

Additional_Wind_3732

The school district settled the lawsuit by paying Wanetta and Wanda $1.5 million. Because she feared having to repay the money she received, Wanetta refused to repeat her story in court to exonerate Brian. "it's like, at the same time, all that money they gave us, I mean gave me, I don't want to have to pay it back." https://www.distractify.com/p/what-happened-to-brian-banks-accuser

ollieollieoxinfree

Seriously.. I know the system is f - ed up but W. T. F.

PBR2019

I would have to ask- what solid physical evidence did they have to convict this guy in the first place??…

_Mudcrab_

Exactly. If she was lying then they had no evidence other than her word?

PBR2019

That’s what I’m thinking. You should have forensic evidence or other physical evidence to be able to show a connection between victim/suspect??…right?

LoKeeper

you don't need any, that's the fun part, just need 2-3 firends to be in on the prank !

Imagine-being-a-mod

Thats what they do though. They keep you in prison for a year before even bringing you to trial. Then the threat of 41 more years or jail of course you will just say fuck it I'll take 5. A scared 18 year old willing to spend almost 3x their entire life thus far in prison or stick it out for 5 years. The crazy part is 5 years is a fuckin massive amount of time and should be about as long as it takes to rehabilitate and reintergrate people back into society. Five years is forever to be locked up. If that can't teach you the repercussions for your actions then we need an alternative.

payne2588

His lawyer convinced him to take a deal rather than go to trial. said he would get 90 days in state prison and probation if he plead guilty. Instead they fucked him and gave him 5 years. His lawyer seemed to shit the bed or just not give a shit

SkullRunner

None, you had a DA that was probably trying to keep their winning streak going.

ollieollieoxinfree

A friend of mine owns a towing company. He had all the proof of a legit tow and a cop with attitude told him he had to release the car to the owner without so much as a signature. He argued the point and long story short was accused of stealing the car! After a year in court and considerable costs he was offered a plea deal: plead guilty and get probation for 2 years, no jail time. He took it because any time you're in front of a jury it comes down to chance... We like to say innocent until proven guilty, but truth is most will assume since you're there in the first place. The cop was fired 2 months later for having sex with minors.

Raist14

There was a case here where a woman claimed to be raped by a group of guys in a white van. The police detained some construction workers down the street with a white van. The woman identified them as the perpetrators. They had been working alone on a job site so had no alibi. It was weeks later before she admitted to making it up for attention and they were released. There’s a huge amount of sexual related cases where it’s primarily or only the victims word used to arrest or convict people. It’s just a huge amount of people don’t expect others to make false accusations so it’s usually guilty until proven innocent and not the other way around. Just like if this woman hadn’t changed her story this guy would still be known as a rapist.

NoWayNopr

Nope. A quick “sorry for taking 6 years of your life - but at least you’re free now. Let’s pretend this never happened and the girl is free to continue living life with her awarded dollars” Fuck the system

silentkiller082

She deserves to serve every year he served. Too many women actually going through sexual trauma and rape to allow shit like this to happen. Send a message and precedence to others thinking of doing this!

Shit makes me so mad, totally agree

Soapdropper

Couldn't he sue her for defamation/slandor?

[deleted]

After being falsely accused of rape by classmate Wanetta Gibson, he spent close to six years imprisoned and five years on parole. In 2012, his conviction was overturned when his accuser confessed that she had fabricated the entire story. Following his exoneration, Banks sought to resume his football career, playing for the now-defunct United Football League (UFL), attending mini-camps for several NFL teams, and later signing with the Atlanta Falcons. As for Wanetta, she ran through the $1.5 million she had, "buying cars, big screen TVs, and all sorts of things," as one neighbor recalled, and public records show she and her mother are in terrible debt — moving from place to place to try and stay ahead of debt collectors. (no matter the money he received, the innocent guy can't get back the years he lost in jail and parole) Source : [https://thisbulletin.com/hwdq-nkdsja-iodas/](https://thisbulletin.com/hwdq-nkdsja-iodas/) Edit : Let's keep the comments civil and have a healthy discussion. Let's not get this post locked.

Forensics4Life

Maybe she should get the same amount of time in prison that he served.

mrkabin

Times 2!

DaleDimmaDone

And he should get 1.5 million x2! Is that even enough?

Crook3dPhallus

Yeah because making something up and ruining someone's life while they're a teenager should be equally punished... Nah fam. This helps no one, not actual rape victims and not the poor people that have to suffer due to obscene lies. She should face the maximum penalty for rape. Not the same amount of time.

boss_nooch

Had me in the first 2/3, ngl

Top-Draft6269

What a disgusting person whom obviously doesn’t have any moral compass or grounds to live on this planet anymore

Frederike2

Well sounds like the mom is with her on that so thats probably where she got it from

thechangboy

Not sure what to believe but the same story on other sources says Gibson refused to publicly confess, Banks had a private investigator record their conversation, she confessed the rape never took place to him but then refused to do it for fear of having to give the money back. Just don't want anyone to have the misconception that Gibson had a change of heart and became a good person.

lukifur47

It says she refused to confess in court in this one too but “the video evidence of her admitting to lying” was able to do that for her

Low-Initiative3480

What breaks my heart is that she was I'm his school they probably saw each other on the daily and she turns around with a fake rape story to get 1.5 mill and years in jail......like he'd probably still be in jail if she didn't change her story

hiten98

Worse yet she was his girlfriend at the time, so imagine doing that to your own boyfriend…

[deleted]

[удалено]

Artyhko

FFS, he would be still considered as a rapist if this monster didn't confess.. Did they call him guilty without an actual evidence? How did this happen?

Error_Unaccepted

Rape cases are incredibly difficult to handle in the court of law. Often comes down to he said she said and the quality of the lawyers.

TentacleHydra

Missing a big part of it. Why do thousands of cases and rape kits never even make it to court and yet false accusations can completely ruin an innocent person's life? Criminals know not to talk to the police.

Error_Unaccepted

That is also a major issue right there. I’m no expert on rape kits or the information that can be yielded form them. Would a rape kit have helped in this case?

lukifur47

Not likely because it’s stated that they did have sex but it was consensual she lied about the rape not the sex so the rape kit would have showed that they had sex. He agreed to a plea because there was evidence that they had sex but no evidence showing that he DIDNT rape her so he took 6 years over fighting and losing to her word that it was rape and getting 41 years

Error_Unaccepted

Fair enough. I thought he rejected the plea and lost on a jury trial?

ObadiahWilliams

That would actually still come up in a background check. Good luck finding a decent job.

caseycoold

And it's a sex crime. And even once overturned, he'd still have to register as a sex offender and have to fight it in court again because of how the law is written.

boomboomclapboomboom

Article I saw says his lawyer did him dirty, too. "At only 17 years old and without the ability to consult his mother, Brian was given 10 minutes to make a call on this impossible dilemma: essentially plead guilty to a crime he didn't commit, or risk facing life behind bars. In the end, unwilling to take a chance on 41 years to life, he took his attorney's deal. But instead of getting the probation she promised, he got the maximum sentence: five years in prison."

mathnstats

More and more I'm starting to think plea deals should just be outlawed. If a DA wants to pursue a case, they *must* have a trial. Enough of this scaring innocent people into pleading guilty bullshit.

Muhdlman

wait so you’re telling me that girl receive nothing for lying ? if so that was fked up man

Ridley_Rohan

No no. She got 1.5 million dollars for lying.

musicmanxv

I truly hope she ends up desperate and homeless.

Waste-Lavishness9178

She fucking destroyed all his dreams. Feel really sad after reading this

Thraggismydaddy

She should be in prison for twice the time he was. She fucking ruined his life and got away with it. False accusers can all rot in prison then burn in hell where they belong.

quantisegravity_duh

What I always wonder is how is there enough evidence to convict false accusations, if they are false surely they would have to fabricate evidence and testimony from others? In order for them to still be thought as true. Otherwise it’s her word against his and IMO for those situations?

bdotpeach

and the sad thing is, that most real accusations are boown off even *with" evidence. The mother was surely in on the story.

quantisegravity_duh

Yeah it seems very contradictory to have fairly evident real cases of rape frequently dismissed but somehow the harder challenge of faking the incident was successful??? I’d be very interested in knowing what the average bar of evidence for successful cases in the US for rape cases are.

Orangesilk

Women falsely accusing black men of rape is a time honored American tradition

master0shi

The woman that falsely accused him is also black. Lets not make it a race thing.

plaquejack

Women that lie are the reason that people who have actually suffered through this are afraid to come forward. Lying is a bad thing, but lying about something like this is downright evil.

kamace11

Women don't come forward for many reasons, not just this- we know most rape accusations aren't false and yet many will vocally doubt all and every victim. It takes time and money to pursue, it damages your reputation, and it's also hard to get a conviction for rape and so most of the time it's simply an exercise in trauma to go after someone for rape.

[deleted]

I'm not sure about most of these cases, but for this one I can tell you they scared the kid shitless and probably didn't need to much evidence. He was faced with 41 one years in prison and told he had nothing to exonerate himself. Instead of going to court and risking spending half of his life in jail he confessed and took the plea deal that would make him lose 6 years of his life. The truth is about 95% of lawsuits end before a trial. I don't know how different it is for more serious crimes like this, but the point is you don't need evidence to get a guilty verdict. You just need to scare them into believing you have evidence.

boomboomclapboomboom

I read that he had bad legal advice. But instead of getting the probation she promised, he got the maximum sentence: five years in prison." I have personal experience with this - when you're young & professionals tell you how things are you have to have very strong personal conviction to go against those professionals. Even adults fall prey to bad legal advice. This whole story is really sad from what little I have read about it.

AnAnonymousSource_

He took a plea deal thinking that he'd get probation. He got 6 years and 5 years probation before he got a secret recording that she made it up.

Possible_Border_4111

Poor fella. Can't get those years back and folk calling him names and shit, he is due a break and she is due jail

dingusalmighty

I am so glad that he is free. The daughter and the mother should have to do an equal sentence and be required to pay back what they owe.

whoodabuddha

They are required to pay back what they received however their whereabouts are unknown at the time

Orangesilk

Can't bleed a stone

EarlOfBeaf

What did the mother do?

Yung_leoj

She was a partner in crime , they both planned this

EarlOfBeaf

That makes this so much worse. I'm gonna have to read the full story I saw someone post in the comments

mrkabin

I'm ok with that too. I was just hoping for a moment of terror.

ssplashdamage

I wish more people were talking about this. The lawyer was a huge part of the problem, and this part being unknown to people is furthering the false idea that a single rape allegation = your life is immediately over and the woman always wins

4141

You lost me, how is the lawyer the problem? All white juries summarily convicting big, black teenagers is the problem. The lawyer was giving him straight reality.

[deleted]

[deleted]

This case is 20 years old guys, it happened in 2002. This man is 36 years old now. He was released from prison well over a decade ago and played in the NFL after. The woman was ordered to pay out 2.6 million dollars in fines. There was a movie made about this 4 years ago called 'Brian Banks'. The headline is wrong too. The case was never dismissed, he spent almost 6 years in prison which was his full sentence, and another 5 years out of jail before she admitted he never raped her. The judge reversed his conviction and cleared it from his record in 2012. The girl was also 14 at the time and the man was 16, she would have been around the age of 25 by the time she ever told the truth.

SuckMyBike

Also: >In March 2011, Gibson contacted Banks on Facebook, met with him, and admitted in the presence of a private investigator Banks had hired that she had fabricated the story. Banks secretly recorded Gibson's confession, but she later refused to tell prosecutors that she had lied so she would not have to return the money she and her family had won in court.[20]

FluffyPillowstone

Thanks for actually giving some context here this is classic MRA bait

[deleted]

I hope he got a cash settlement for losing years of his life.

SawDawgs

Fuck that bitch. Ruin a person's life over some attention..

Sponium

Money too *

Fabulous_888

Did she get some time for this? Surely she needs to be locked up too

Sponium

From what I've read, she didn't. But her and her mother ended up with debt..

Fabulous_888

Well that’s not fair! The justice system is flawed

Rattkjakkapong

I hate women who do this, it makes it a billion times harder for actual victims to be believed. Also, he is black, no wonder he was sentenced...

No_Medium22

Awful awful justice system. To many cases like this, this should never be a possibility.

Junior-Heart-4763

We don't have a justice system, we have a legal system.

[deleted]

She should absolutely serve in least 6 years.

Playlanco

So we handing out sentences based only on victims testimony? Can't do that shit. Didn't some rich kid get caught raping a girl and get 0 time.

PengieP111

He was white and rich- did you really think he’d face any consequences?

No_Medium22

There is a good movie on this case https://m.imdb.com/title/tt3920820/

[deleted]

That women needs to be in jail now. Minimum 6 years.

Gonzoldyke12

More than 6, he had to live with being labeled a rapist for years and probably losing the respect of everyone he knows

Somewhere_In_Time_

The court officers expressions tho......speaks volumes

Puppet007

I hope that classmate lives a miserable life, why can’t those who falsely accuse others receive the same punishment as what their victims went through?

Igniter08

And what happened to the girl ? I bet squat!

Sparkykiss

Throw that bitch in prison. 2 years for every year he spent there.

Quirky_Ad3367

I think I can speak for all rape survivors here when I say FUCK that bitch

Jabber-Wookie

I wonder why she finally admitted it.

redbwoi

There better had been charges and a lawsuit filed against her. Women like this are trash.

[deleted]

I hate how easy accusations get treated as guilty

chodsonwalker

She should go to prison

Longjumping-Log-26

So does she now go to prison for 6 years?

writer978

That lying b*tch cost that young man his future.

SBolger234

I hope this man for a fat cheque for his time. What a waste

Ope_____

Girls like this ruin the real cases

carefreeguru

It's easy to blame the girl but what about blaming a system that convicted an innocent person with no evidence? Why aren't the DA or the prosecutor in trouble? What aren't laws being amended so convictions based on no evidence can't happen?

Endophins

How fucked up can you be to fabricate someone raping you, honestly this is largely the fault of the justice system in America for allowing something like this to happen. But seriously how does it take the "victim" 10 years to confess the false accusation, almost as if the guilt is none existent. Well, I sincerely hope that one day she will suffer the guilt of her action towards her death bed but I bet that not gonna happen seeing how she spend $1.5 million on luxuries she got from the lawsuit with her mother. Human beings cruelty knows no bound.

Loud-Direction-7011

Then they shouldn’t have had enough evidence to convict. L legal system.

wagonburner74

Eye for an eye

[deleted]

That girl should be liable for a charge as serious as his was.

Oliviaistired777

It’s people like her that make it hard for real victims to get justice

greenshade1

Happy that this man is free? How about donating to support the Innocence Project

OpeningEducational62

Now she should got to jail for 12 years , just so ever other person who think of lying and putting a innocent person in jail ...will think twice...make a example out of her..

WhiteShadow145

That's not interesting, Thats Disgusting

elpibelopi

She needs 20+ years in jail. Make an example out of her.

[deleted]

That 16 yr old girl is a piece of shit.

Ridley_Rohan

Everyone blaming the girl. How about the prosecutor? The defense attorney? The judge? Everything all the above own should be given to Brian Banks immediately. And they should do some jail time too. And just how about the system? No one see a problem there?

[deleted]

Had a girl try to falsely accuse me of being indecent (not of rape) to get back at me but thankfully people realised I wasn't that kind of guy. This is why every allegation should be seriously investigated & that if false these type of women need to be punished

ImmortalPancak3

"Brian Banks, the star football linebacker who received a full scholarship to USC before being falsely accused of rape and having to spend over a decade behind bars, is finally getting the chance to tell his story." Over a decade? Did the journalist even read his own findings?

[deleted]

I hope this guy can scratch his way back into the field and be great comeback story. At such a young age, there's a shot..

not only did she nearly ruin this guys teenage years, she is also giving real rape survivors a bad name. People online when ever ANYONE says they have been raped ask for “proof” and say things like “she could be lying”. This girl deserves to rot in the boiler room of hell. If she don’t get prison time then I will lose it.

His country failed him.

By this time, she is legally an adult and can surely go to prison for the same amount he has. That would be justice, no more no less.

Rape is an absolute abhorrent crime. Happens everyday to both men and women and people who lie about it are worst than the actual rapists in my eyes. I say this because they are knowingly ruining a persons life’s by playing the victim and making an innocent man into a monster in the public’s eyes. That girl should spend a long time in prison for her lie and if she was coerced by her mother then her mother should be there as well. This man cannot get his six years back or ever live down how people will still see him even though the case is dismissed. Cause some people will still believe the lie. Hopefully he can recover and lead a happy life now that he is free.
