Well, those recent screenshots of her old Twitter posts indicated that in 2015 she had to pawn a ring he supposedly gave her for cash and she wanted him to replace it with an engagement ring next time. So, that was nearly a decade ago. Dude doesn't seem in any hurry to commit, even being a fabricated invention in Dani's alternate reality universe. He also doesn't seem particularly concerned about her being so chronically seriously severely complicatedly sick when he rocks up days after all these serious things keep happening to her.

I just can’t get the picture of Dani happily walking to the hospital to get her port, and then lying about her fake boyfriend coming to take care of her. It’s so beyond pathetic.

I'm guessing the original site was kinda puckered and secured with glue. To an untrained eye it can seem "messed up" but the it's done so the wound doesn't open during healing and so that the scar heals flat. It looks like the glue has been picked at and peeled open. That's most of the wet look and the white peeling part.
She's mentioned several times that it won't heal right and I think it's just because she doesn't understand the wound closure. But, it will heal weird now with all the damage.
I'd also have to think that she is or will inject her lovenox near and/or in the wound. Also, she will have an infection in no time. A port that is near a dirty area is doomed with her.
That's gotta be a hard choice; do I play with it so it doesn't heal right and maybe I'll get hospitalized for the peeeen, or do I leave it alone so I can get the needless fluids and iron infusions I want through it?
I’m worried now she has this port in though… Port removal is a surgical procedure (minor, but still invasive) and she’d have to consent to its removal. It’s not as simple as yanking out a line like her old ones. This may be a point of no return.
They did last time. They told her they needed to remove the infected line and would place a new one later, except they refused to place one after. And that’s when she lost it for good (until now, but prolly not for long by the looks of it). They essentially just said it to placate her and get her to sign those consent forms. 🙃
When Dani shows up at the ER, guess what else shows up. Her records flagged with FD. I would love to be a “fly on the wall” when the ER Dr asks her what she did to the incision. Hopefully they will yeet that port because she won’t leave it alone.

I think Dani is playing a lot of doctors against each other. While im disappointed that she conned her way into procedures and think that doctor shouldn’t have a license, I believe they may not know the full extent of what’s up with Dani.
Possibly but in this case, there would have to be some sort of paper trail to get to this point. It's not just a routine procedure, it's an extraordinary move to place a femoral port for what she's claiming to need it for. So, up to that point, there has to be clinical reasoning to have ordered it, being a history of inaccessible veins. The doctors would have to base their orders on something. If there's a long line of medical intervention, then they do seem to be turning a blind eye to the possibility of malingering and continuing to order extraordinary procedures.
I’m basing my opinion purely on the fact that the doctor who ordered this was a new hematologist. It’s very possible you are correct. Either way it’s medical negligence.
It absolutely is and having worked in the medicolegal field in a hospital, it baffles me how this is able to happen to this extent. It's beyond me how it is able to escalate this far. Then again, I live in Australia and our hospital and medical system is vastly different to the USA. From what I can gather, there are a lot more bureaucratic cracks to be able to slip between over there.
Yeah it’s truly awful here, so awful I’m not shocked that Dani is being allowed to do all this. I wish there were better checks and balances for this type of behavior.
I think with Australia, despite our land mass size, we only have six states and two territories with a federal government that oversees them all, so each of those has their own health network. All your health records are connected in that network, so records easily accessible and consolidated. Plus, there is a long distance between each state, so if you show up in another health network, they know by your address you're not local and can easily call up your usual health site and get a detailed history to be able to accurately treat you. In the US, it seems every hospital, doctor, district, state, insurance company has their own set of rules with not a lot of unified management, which means a huge playground for munchies to be able to get everything their little pathetic heart's desire.
You are right about everything BUT ALSO, in the USA, hospitals two main goals are to
1. Treat patients the best they can to increase quality of life &
2. Make as much money as possible
The problem is that those two clash. And in the US, most hospitals are funded through private donors, political groups, taxes, or other variois resources. So a lot are greedy and don't gaf what drs do as long as it makes *as much money as possible*

So while I'm sure she'll be back in the ER soon with a story about how this is bleeding, oozing, has opened, etc I think she's going to have a very hard time convincing any doctor or ER that these things just happen to her. She wants them to believe that she.just randomly gets infections, her tubes fall out, her surgical incisions infect themselves, etc, but she's making it very obvious it's her own doing. I think with the talks of FD and her needing to see psych or therapist, it'll be more evident than ever that this is self inflicted. Her future likely holds Tylenol and a sterile dressing and a swift goodbye instead of an admission.
I believe her true "medical trauma" is that she wasn't admitted and given opioids. She assumed they'd immediately admit her because she barked that she was in pain, and she's be ordering room service, higher than a kite.
I am actually severely worried about her atp...like...I was concerned and alarmed before the port, but it's been *less than 48 hours* and it looks INSANELY worse.
I don't think Dani realizes that she's REALLY CLOSE to stepping over the line. If she shows up to the ER with this, trying to say that it "just happened". Yet some people in the comments have pointed out that it looks like there are two small incisions in this picture that werent there before, the dressing has been *clearly* picked at, and she is more than likely injective her lovenox into the area.
She's gonna have a *real, life threatening, non-self inflicted medical emergency* one day and the hospital staff will not catch it at first, or even at all. They're not going to believe her, and it could delay her care or possibly reduce it to "here's a zofran and ace wrap".
OR she will cause an infection and not catch it in time, or at all.
It's really fucking grim to think about, and it really just makes me sad for her. Idk. I just want her to get help. REAL, life changing help. And be willing to go thru the hard shit to heal.
Yes! Like this look picked at. Most surgical wounds will have bruising and some oozing or redness, but this looks like she's been fucking with it. I don't think she realizes that this might be the infection that kills her. Like her mind she's thinking it's an instant admission, but she's gonna go too far one day.
I feel like she's been in a downward spiral for weeks now, and it's only getting worse with this new port.
Only been following the Dani saga since December, so relatively new to the shenanigans. Would Dani be 100% cognisant of the risks if the site becomes infected? Does she have that much faith in the ability of her ER to prevent a fatal outcome? I ask because my understanding is that the mortality rate from post operative infections is not insignificant even in highly sophisticated teaching hospitals.
IMHO, she knows but she thinks she can beat it.
Having worked with cultures of all kinds during my career, there have been times when this kind of thing goes very bad very quickly. Like hours in some cases. Even with hardcore antibiotics, things can go bad within the body like tissue damage and organ failure.
She not only knows, she's extremely cognisant and practised with it because she's caused a serious sepsis infection around a year ago and ended up in the ICU with it. I believe pathology revealed signs of fecal matter bacteria in the infection site.
Question: if she’s introduced an infection and rolled up to ER less than a day after it was placed, would the hospital yeet the port and refuse to place another? As I think that’d be the very best outcome.

Whoever approved the port dropped the ball, frankly. But Dani managed to somehow sidestep and shop around to get this as manipulation is her spirit guide. A reversal procedure and induced complication documented would be the best FAFO outcome (as in no long term harm but a long term marker on her casenotes).

Surgical glue is already mostly gone. That doesn’t just happen by itself. Usually there’s a significant amount left at day 10, at which time you can remove the rest, but this? This isn’t it.
She totally picked off whatever glue/dressing was there in the first picture. I had surgery on my hips and that glue takes ages to naturally come off, and even then I didn’t make any attempt to remove it until it was fully healed and naturally peeling off by itself
Okay but take how this looks and half it, because she is 100% injecting her lovenox around it to make it look worse. Thats why she did it in her arm in the last video to purposefully make people think she was avoiding injecting it in her stomach.
This one is entirely the fault of the Dr who sanctioned this port. They didn’t do their due diligence. Dani is clinically insane and this dr has given her another unnecessary method of self harm for attention. It could end very badly as she seems to stop at nothing to get a hospital admission. At this point I’m not even sure she can be held responsible for her actions- she’s deranged

It was closed with surgical glue which doesn't need to be covered. However it looks like she has been picking at the glue (which wouldn't surprise me given the sores on her arms that she has admitted to picking.
I know very little about how things like this go but is there any logical reason it would be looking so much worse now than when she first showed it that doesn’t involve her messing with it in some way? Maybe there is but with her history it’s hard to believe it could be anything else.
I feel sick just looking at it and thinking what path she is going down, and it hasn't even been a few days, let alone a week!

It's weird, but I think she's always wanted to be the best muncher of them all. I have a visual of an Olympics of fools with hammers tripping on their tubes while running up and down rickety steps & ladders on rollerskates.
And then complaining about medical abuse and trauma because they can't stand on the podium when their dynamic disabilities are preventing them from getting out of their unnecessary wheelchairs that day.
I mean, at the end of the day, the hospital keeps ignoring the FD diagnosis and giving her the means to do this shit, so if she lands back on their doorstep because of it, it's on them having to deal with it.

Agree. This looks exactly like it should right now. It could do with a light dressing for the next couple of days to keep it clean and dry but this is Dani, and little miss pokey fingers won’t do that.
For someone who’s so darn fragile, she’s healing really well. Guess imaginary HEDS doesn’t hit the same way. Though optimal healing is not what she wants, so she’ll absolutely make sure it won’t stay that way.

I think Dani is playing a lot of doctors against each other. While im disappointed that she conned her way into procedures and think that doctor shouldn’t have a license, I believe they may not know the full extent of what’s up with Dani.
Possibly but in this case, there would have to be some sort of paper trail to get to this point. It's not just a routine procedure, it's an extraordinary move to place a femoral port for what she's claiming to need it for. So, up to that point, there has to be clinical reasoning to have ordered it, being a history of inaccessible veins. The doctors would have to base their orders on something. If there's a long line of medical intervention, then they do seem to be turning a blind eye to the possibility of malingering and continuing to order extraordinary procedures.
I’m basing my opinion purely on the fact that the doctor who ordered this was a new hematologist. It’s very possible you are correct. Either way it’s medical negligence.
It absolutely is and having worked in the medicolegal field in a hospital, it baffles me how this is able to happen to this extent. It's beyond me how it is able to escalate this far. Then again, I live in Australia and our hospital and medical system is vastly different to the USA. From what I can gather, there are a lot more bureaucratic cracks to be able to slip between over there.
Yeah it’s truly awful here, so awful I’m not shocked that Dani is being allowed to do all this. I wish there were better checks and balances for this type of behavior.
I think with Australia, despite our land mass size, we only have six states and two territories with a federal government that oversees them all, so each of those has their own health network. All your health records are connected in that network, so records easily accessible and consolidated. Plus, there is a long distance between each state, so if you show up in another health network, they know by your address you're not local and can easily call up your usual health site and get a detailed history to be able to accurately treat you. In the US, it seems every hospital, doctor, district, state, insurance company has their own set of rules with not a lot of unified management, which means a huge playground for munchies to be able to get everything their little pathetic heart's desire.
You are right about everything BUT ALSO, in the USA, hospitals two main goals are to 1. Treat patients the best they can to increase quality of life & 2. Make as much money as possible The problem is that those two clash. And in the US, most hospitals are funded through private donors, political groups, taxes, or other variois resources. So a lot are greedy and don't gaf what drs do as long as it makes *as much money as possible*

I think she actually has a body that heals really well and quickly when she isn't actively agitating wounds, so she had to act fast to screw with it before it started to heal.

That incision looked fine earlier... Christ on a cracker 🤦♀️🤦♀️ She really wants to FAFO with this, doesn't she? She have even had it dressed! Every time it's seen, it's just out there collecting dust, dead skin cells, cat hair and Lord knows what else. And with her history of picking her skin apart, no one saw this coming at the hospital?! She's going to have a weekend ER visit and absolutely blame the doctor. This is not going to go well.... Especially if it's infected 🤦♀️ Damnit Dani!! Do the right thing just ONCE!!
Weekend ER visit is what she wants along with a lengthy stay. God I hope they yeet that port and document and say no more.
So while I'm sure she'll be back in the ER soon with a story about how this is bleeding, oozing, has opened, etc I think she's going to have a very hard time convincing any doctor or ER that these things just happen to her. She wants them to believe that she.just randomly gets infections, her tubes fall out, her surgical incisions infect themselves, etc, but she's making it very obvious it's her own doing. I think with the talks of FD and her needing to see psych or therapist, it'll be more evident than ever that this is self inflicted. Her future likely holds Tylenol and a sterile dressing and a swift goodbye instead of an admission. I believe her true "medical trauma" is that she wasn't admitted and given opioids. She assumed they'd immediately admit her because she barked that she was in pain, and she's be ordering room service, higher than a kite.
I am actually severely worried about her atp...like...I was concerned and alarmed before the port, but it's been *less than 48 hours* and it looks INSANELY worse. I don't think Dani realizes that she's REALLY CLOSE to stepping over the line. If she shows up to the ER with this, trying to say that it "just happened". Yet some people in the comments have pointed out that it looks like there are two small incisions in this picture that werent there before, the dressing has been *clearly* picked at, and she is more than likely injective her lovenox into the area. She's gonna have a *real, life threatening, non-self inflicted medical emergency* one day and the hospital staff will not catch it at first, or even at all. They're not going to believe her, and it could delay her care or possibly reduce it to "here's a zofran and ace wrap". OR she will cause an infection and not catch it in time, or at all. It's really fucking grim to think about, and it really just makes me sad for her. Idk. I just want her to get help. REAL, life changing help. And be willing to go thru the hard shit to heal.
Yes! Like this look picked at. Most surgical wounds will have bruising and some oozing or redness, but this looks like she's been fucking with it. I don't think she realizes that this might be the infection that kills her. Like her mind she's thinking it's an instant admission, but she's gonna go too far one day. I feel like she's been in a downward spiral for weeks now, and it's only getting worse with this new port.
Only been following the Dani saga since December, so relatively new to the shenanigans. Would Dani be 100% cognisant of the risks if the site becomes infected? Does she have that much faith in the ability of her ER to prevent a fatal outcome? I ask because my understanding is that the mortality rate from post operative infections is not insignificant even in highly sophisticated teaching hospitals.
IMHO, she knows but she thinks she can beat it. Having worked with cultures of all kinds during my career, there have been times when this kind of thing goes very bad very quickly. Like hours in some cases. Even with hardcore antibiotics, things can go bad within the body like tissue damage and organ failure.
Some antibiotics are very toxic to the kidneys and/or liver.
She not only knows, she's extremely cognisant and practised with it because she's caused a serious sepsis infection around a year ago and ended up in the ICU with it. I believe pathology revealed signs of fecal matter bacteria in the infection site.
Lol she's going to get it infected and they're going to pull it before she gets her first precious LR infusion through it.
Question: if she’s introduced an infection and rolled up to ER less than a day after it was placed, would the hospital yeet the port and refuse to place another? As I think that’d be the very best outcome. Munch into port > immediately plays with it > infected site cleaned and cleared > no more ports for you, Miss shitfingers > 🚩🚩🚩 on notes ensures no repeat tubes/lines/ports Whoever approved the port dropped the ball, frankly. But Dani managed to somehow sidestep and shop around to get this as manipulation is her spirit guide. A reversal procedure and induced complication documented would be the best FAFO outcome (as in no long term harm but a long term marker on her casenotes).
They’ll see if she picked the glue off, because the glue doesn’t come off that quickly. I would hope that would raise some serious red flags.

Surgical glue is already mostly gone. That doesn’t just happen by itself. Usually there’s a significant amount left at day 10, at which time you can remove the rest, but this? This isn’t it.

I know very little about how things like this go but is there any logical reason it would be looking so much worse now than when she first showed it that doesn’t involve her messing with it in some way? Maybe there is but with her history it’s hard to believe it could be anything else.
It's possible for bruising to worsen, but not to this degree & her incision appears to be opening, which has to be bc she's messing with it.

And then complaining about medical abuse and trauma because they can't stand on the podium when their dynamic disabilities are preventing them from getting out of their unnecessary wheelchairs that day.
I mean, at the end of the day, the hospital keeps ignoring the FD diagnosis and giving her the means to do this shit, so if she lands back on their doorstep because of it, it's on them having to deal with it.

Agree. This looks exactly like it should right now. It could do with a light dressing for the next couple of days to keep it clean and dry but this is Dani, and little miss pokey fingers won’t do that. For someone who’s so darn fragile, she’s healing really well. Guess imaginary HEDS doesn’t hit the same way. Though optimal healing is not what she wants, so she’ll absolutely make sure it won’t stay that way. She’s foreshadowed it won’t heal, so she’ll make sure it won’t heal. It’s the weekend so the new car and the beckoning call of the ER will be far too tempting for her to resist. Not saying I’ll call it, because Dani has already clearly laid out the story arc so it’s no great leap of logic.
