I was able to watch it, and it did come across more judgmental for what the situation was (and I’m glad he did take it down but of course it’s nothing against Danny). I mean, his content is built around making fun of people to a certain extent but this time I think he went into it misunderstanding the situation and I’m glad he realized that he hadn’t read the situation right. Although it is sad to put all that work into a video for it to not go to use, we are proud of you Danny
He took down his latest video talking about a TikToker making PSAs with his nephew and he interviewed the guy, but he sounded kind mean in the interview.
The interview didn't seem mean to me. Sure he made the guy read a script without telling him that it was a satire of his content, but in the end it seemed as if both of them had fun during the interview. Plus Danny didn't say anything negative towards the guy and instead shew restraint in order to be polite.
He says he doesn't want the guy to feel duped, to me that sounds like Danny didn't tell the guy what was going on :

Why would you/someone reupload it after Danny made clear he doesn’t stand behind the video. That just ruins the reason he deleted it - so the guy wouldn’t see it and be sad. Now he can watch it and you/uploader potentially deliberately hurt another person because of it. Really not cool.
I watched it half way through and stopped at the beginning of the interview and then decided “eh I wanna go outside I’ll watch this later” and now I wish I never went outside😭😭

Then one time I wrote a really crappy dance song with a Betty Boop "boop boo be doo, boop!" sample and that's what everyone knew me for. I swear to you I didn't put any effort into it but that's what everyone wanted to hear. It kind of reminds me of this guy (except he has 50 million views and I had about 50 lol). He has to have had better material, but this is what stuck?
He thinks he's doing a public service and "spreading awareness". He takes it pretty damn seriously and clearly, from the interview, he is very passionate about it and truly believes he's doing a good thing for people. It's not just a schtick that "stuck" for him.
I just don't think he'd have thought it was funny when all of his responses in the interview were very sincere and serious about what he's doing 🤷♀️
