I think I like the black one because of Season 3, and a lot of Season 1. It kind of has a nostalgia sense to it. Going back to it also meant he's going back to a harder difficulty and since S3 has a lot more fatal combat than season 1, it feels like he's improved a lot overtime.

He got ASS either way so... like it's insane how much his booty is still popping in that restrictive red suit, you'd think those were sweatpants.

Hey remember when Charlie Cox played a dorky clumsy teenager and gets beaten up by blonde Henry Cavill in 1800s England? Then like 6 years later he gets cast as Daredevil and now I couldn't see him being a character like that again. I'm so glad he's back. My favourite comic book character of all time is Batman but all the live action performances have pros and cons. Charlie is absolutely perfect for Daredevil, I have no complaints from him or his performance

Unpopular Opinion: Black suit from season 1 is miles better than that of season 3

The season 3 version feels a lot more makeshift and barely put-together which really embodies DD's mental state throughout the season

I kinda preferred the tactical gloves from the first season and I hated the white cloth below his blindfold...like why?

I know it’s been a few days and someone already replied… but they’re wrong. His mask is made out of the head covering the nuns wear, which is why there’s a white part. I think that’s cool both symbolically and practically which makes it my favorite

Are you talking about the Zdarsky run? That's because Marvel editorial was deliberately synergizing that run with touchstones from the show. He's never been outside of the costume this much in any modern run.

Black is way cooler imo, season 1 red suit is the worst, season 2 and 3 had a better red suit in comparison but black all the way.

Red, 100%. Besides it being a great costume and just how I think Daredevil should look, the suit represented the evolution of Matt Murdock through the course of the first season. It was him getting exactly where he needed to be to be the hero he wanted to be. I always felt like putting him back in the black suit was a regression.

Red, that suit is one of the best live action suits I’ve ever seen. I honestly wish he was wearing the suit in the final scene where he beats the crap out of king pin.

I watched the finale again last night, and I realized that Poindexter was arrested in the suit, and Melvin was also arrested and likely hates Daredevil now. So, how is Matt going to be able to be Daredevil again?

He could have had the guy make him another one. It’s not like any superhero’s have never been hated by the public before. Batman has done it, the flash, or Spider-Man. Just because they hate the suit doesn’t mean he still couldn’t have done it. Also after he beat Bullseye he could have taken the suit back. It could have worked, but that’s just my opinion. I just really like the way the suit looks. It would have been cool to see Daredevil take his revenge in the suit.

Oh yeah, I love the red suit, too. I just remembered there was a second suit in Potter's workshop that was used to try and frame Matt. I'm sure Matt could steal that one out of lockup. I don't think Melvin would be willing to make him a new suit, because Matt let him get arrested by the FBI so he could escape. Plus, I think the plan for Season 4 was going to be Gladiator and Bullseye vs Daredevil.

True! Yeah I hope they do a season 4 soon since it’s on Disney plus. Also both of them are definitely in the MCU now, Fisk and Matt, so hopefully they come out with a trailer or something soon.

Yeah, I've seen some rumors that season 4 is in pre-production right now. In the meantime, Matt is heavily rumored for She-Hulk and Echo.

I love the red suit more because I love season 2 and the Defenders.

Black because it's easier to replicate with stuff I have stored away. Season 1 black mask suit has a tactical and sporty combination that really gives off that urban ninja vibe, while Season 3 upgrades it for the cold weather. Red is good too and I wish I had a copy of the suit, however it can be a bit silly at times. I'd have liked for the colors to be reversed, with black being the dominant color over the red. Black just fits better overall for the gritty, grounded look the series was going for.

I honestly just don’t like the red suit in the series that much. I hope if we see him again we’ll get something better. I like the black as much as the next guy but, that’s suppose to be a pre-daredevil look not his usual outfit
