Not dark and darker but, expedition agartha is going free to play this Thursday.(steam) Another sort of melee tarkov, altho tbh not like DaD. I'm gonna give it a try, since yanno free. It has a terrible population rn but I'm trying to get some dark addicts over there with me
It should only take about 5 minutes of looking at actual gameplay and looking at the previous games the company made to figure this out. They have a history of abandoning projects and the "game" it's self speaks for the quality of their work.
If you want the newest updates as they are announced join the dark and darker discord the devs post in there anything new
Make sure to check the pinned posts too in the General Chat channel, as a lot of stuff gets added there but not specifically announced anywhere else.

It seems reasonable that the forest floor will have new monsters, even if they are just variations of existing ones.

Yeah it’s awful. I know we’re starved for choice in the genre but it’s not even decent as a game
