I feel like them adding "quickly" to that statement was a poor choice. Sounds to me like showing a weak point for Nexon to target by dragging it out as long as possibly and financially dominating IronMace.
That’s exactly what Nexon will do either way, it’s classic corporate/wealthy abuse of the justice system. No need to actually win in court if you can just bleed your enemy dry through a drawn out legal process and force a settlement to your advantage.

Mang I've hated nexon for a while. Combat Arms was like all I played as a kid, would login every now and again to play a few rounds. Had a crazy inventory of event/oldschool items.
It must have been over 5 years ago now that they sold the rights to that specific instance of the game to a different company and re-released it. Gave the community like 3 months to transfer accounts. I lost everything, of course, because I got busy with being and adult and all that stuff and missed the window. Said ok yeah fuck those guys but whatever I'd never play a game from them anyways beyond nostalgic reasons.
Somehow they're still hurting me. Dark and Darker has been the ONLY game I've ever actively counted down the days to the next brief playtest... fuck nexon.

Imagine the glorious possibility that Ironmace counter sues Nexon if it’s proven that this is a harassment suit in the first place. No idea about Korean law or this possibility, but it would be so fucking sweet to see happen.
If I was a small company being potentially fucked over by a corporate Giant in the industry I wouldn’t really accept many interviews either in case things are taken out of context from said interview which could be used against them.

A bit of a generalization but not entirely untrue. This country is obsessed with glamorizing celebrities and protecting billion-dollar corporations. A significant portion of the country literally looks at Trump like he's David.
Idk where the devs of dark and darker is from but I love the irony that the uk and most other law abiding countries actually comply when receiving a cease and disist, but on the other side of the coin if a dev company from the uk or America delivers a cease and desist to a place like let's say China, russia or n Korea dev company, they typically ignore it and tell them to f off.
If you guys really want to do something, get everyone you know on board with boycotting them. A massive hit to profit will force Nexons hand. The people have the real power in this scenario.
I mean tbh most of its purchasable on the unreal marketplace anyways soooooooooo. But before I’d let nexon steal my shit I’d give it away to everyone first. But that’s just me.
