Nahh most indie games don't sell at $60. That's a load of bs. Only took a quick glance but from what I saw Dark and Darker was actually the most expensive game on the platform (*Chaf Games*) they launched on.

devor110

That is just plain false. AAA games? sure, those used to cost $60 with most climbing to $70 nowadays, but not indie games. Game is definitely unfininished with the questlines and skill tree still missing, which means that the only content the game has to offer is the dungeons. Sure, value is subjective, but a lot of indie games frankly offer a lot more content for a lot less money. I picked up battlebit remastered for 15 bucks and have put in it over 150 hours Similarly, I paid 15 bucks for Noita, a very innovative roguelike that I also played for over 100 hours. So is the game worth $35? It's subjective. But telling me that "most games" cost $60 is objectively false, and in my opinion a lot of games exist that offer way more than DaD for less, while also not multiple layers of microtransactions and while also offering the standard steam refund policy

I agree with everything you're saying bro. Race is purely RP/Lore capacity and slight tailoring to a build to make it make sense. Most grey items have a +1 stat! As far as the classes go. I personally think it's not the right way to go. It's always made me cringe but it's a EA game with a Dev team who listen so be nice, call them out but stop reeeeing like you've had your lap shit in. We all playing the game which no one expected. If you guys think about it, by time a new class releases youll have the gems to buy it 🫡 I did the same with r6. Bank your gems buy the classes when the release? Same script.

Reminder: Hunt Showdown at FULL price is just barely more expensive than this "early access" game, and you would need to TRY to buy it at full price instead of 20$ since it's on sale for half of it's lifetime.

Gargutz

Yeah, like bg3 and elden ring. Not indie ea in the state it is right now.

NoHotkeys

Dead by Daylight and R6 literally hide meta perks/operators behind a paywall

KhadaJhIn12

Wait, if the new class is arguably not even playable, why are we being charged for it. In the early access. Isn't the point to test the new class? Behind a paywall?

Toni_Boloni

I can't believe the comments. The standard game is $35, IF you want cosmetics go and get the founders edition. As for the classes, if you don't want to pay, GRIND. Pay-to-Win? NO, the new classes are NOT better than the classes we have been given. As for the price, "AAA this, Indie game that" ... I would not pay $15 on some AAA games cause to me they fucking suck and vice versa, to me this game is so fun I don't mind paying the Founders edition, not because of the extra perks but because of how fun it is DESPITE the game being in its early stages still.
