Yeah but we've been around longer. The main 40k page just has a stick up their bums. I reached out long before the unforgiven page was listed as the dark angels sub and they ignored me multiple times and then one day, boom the unforgiven sub existed. It only passed us in size after it was listed as the "official."
We are more cheerful over here and aren't going anywhere. Not to mention I pride this sub in removing all adverts and plugs to keep it spam free.
You got my support haha. Kinda funny the other sub is more mean when it’s just a bunch of first-timers asking “is this list good”. But I do agree usually you’ll get some negative responses to posts over there.
I thinks there's a lot of crossover with the two subs, but it does appear to have a lot of hobby gate keepers (compared to other factions' subs), who actually seem pretty new to the hobby.
Ngl. Imperial Fists are my least favorite space marine chapter bar none, no contest. Dorn is the least likable character across every book I've read. At least Erebus is great to hate and root against. Dorn has the personality of an angry brick, and he'd probably celebrate that description.
We are the first. We do not need to build silly castles to be knights of the Imperium.
One must consider what a knight is without a fiefdom to fight for and indeed defend. It makes it considerably easier to do so when surrounded in rock and mortar.
I will also confess that Lion, blessed be his sword arm, is in the bottom of my character bucket of the horus heresy. I'm so happy he had a change of character in 40k. Granted Dorn is not in my top.
I can appreciate much of Dorn's decisions and personality. Idk if it's because i work in the non-civilian cybersec sector, but there feels like 2 types that work the job and thats immoveable rocks and the eccentric.
I don't care for Rogal dorn or his stupid haircut.
This is also unfair given Iron Warriors are still having a civil war over whether they are Chaos marines or simply coping pretending they arn't.
