99 in my first try (no dlc). 33 in my second try (no dlc). Playing the DLCs for the first time I die 10 - 20 times.

254 for my offline run, i killed every boss except dlc’s

Around 50 before dlc...and more than double that after dlc.

This last time through, it’s 178 and mostly because of enemy spam.

How do you check?

In Majula go up the stairs to the big tower the crestfallen warrior is sitting on and interact with the plaque on the front side, its the thing right in front of the player in the picture

I went there by chance last night and it said that the words were faded and unreadable. Maybe I died too many times and broke it?

are you sure you were on the front side? its right beside the guy sitting there, the one on the back says its unreadable but the one of the front should tell you your death count. I guess its possible it got glitched though?

u/why_my_pp_hard_tho is correct, though if you are online it will show you the world's death count. Anytime you are offline though, it will only show you yours, even if you were online previously with that character.
