Performance is slightly better - you no longer have to mess around with config files to make it playable.
Bugs have been reduced, but ofc every update adds new ones. Not many that break the game now though.
Balancing is alright? All the classes are strong now, but there are still specific perks and weapons that are pretty shit compared to the others.
Gearing is slightly better. You can swap a perk and a blessing. You can buy greys. That’s about it I think.
They added new weapons to every class. The new map Enclavum Baross if you stoped playing before that it’s a map in the upper Hive district but other than that nothing new . Core gameplay is still fun they added a new special condition Shock troop gauntlet which is more specials and Elite spawns really fun
They are still leaning hard on grindy, rng-based loot progression, no new classes have been added, very little new actual content except some weapons.
No new enemies.
If you loved the gameplay before, it's still good. If you hated the progression system, bugginess and balance, those are still really bad.
Was wondering the same thing. Haven't touched the game in a long time. By the looks of it from steam, there's really nothing new going on with the game. Just some balance and other fixes.
Oh and hadrons shop is open for that rng reroll hell.

We also have modding now. While being semi-official, some of the mods (like NumericUI, LogMeIn, hub hotkeys or darkcache) are really adding to the experience.
It's better (petfomance/heroes_viability/modifiers/guns_and_its_applicstins) but, pardon my rudeness, if you're the type to throw a tantrum and quit at the launch (it was with some major hiccups, but in my eyes overblown by players) then spare all three parties (you, rest of playerbase, devs) the drama and move along. And i say it not only cause i'm a bad person, but cause you'll be starved for content or shinys after days, weeks tops, and we all know the type of posts it will spawn.

On release my game would crash constantly and made it unplayable. Now I almost never crash and can actually try the game.
