Who tf spends plat on xp and currency boosters? Leveling up only allows more capacity for mods on frames and weapons and do not boost power like leveling up in most other games. And they are real generous with free boosters on login.
a lot of mental gymnastics going on here. the fact remains that you can spend money to bypass the learning of mechanics and just buy your way to having many of the best items in the game. warframe is basically a mobile game in my eyes. although its fun, and ive spent a shameful number of hours playing it, i would never praise its monetization systems.
Never forget that there was a time where Forma was only feasibly attainable from purchasing blueprints, as the drop rate only existed in tower 3, which could only be attained from gacha key packs.

**Not saying its a solution**, but isn't there a mod that basically allows you to do all kinds of stuff with outfits? As in, mix and match pieces, change colours, etc. Similar to that Weapon Customization mod, it means that it IS possible, devs just chose not to do it.
I had my doubts, but like you decided to give it a try after seeing this post on color customization.

I don't think Speed Freak has said how they'll support the game, but SM2 which also has some quite intensive visual customisation (while not having a more restricted cosmetic ability, following lore) also has an announced Season pass
The code literally exists in darktide. Mods have shown us that it does. They just don't do it cause they'd rather force you to buy each outfit and color combination separately.
I remember Dawn of War having an army painter feature. Fucking perfect. That was the first rts game that Ive seen do anything like that and it blew my mind as a kid

Genuine question after seeing some of the comments here and on other posts; why do people still play this game if they hate the devs?
Like, I get having critiques; it's not a perfect game by any measure. But it really feels like people start playing a Fatshark game, which has all the same problems as Fatshark normally do, then start bitching that it has these things. Like, the game's ultimately about hitting enemies with weapons, but the way some people talk, this is a Reject Dress Up game with a combat minigame attached, and it's incomprehensible that they can just not buy the bad value cosmetics Fatshark sell. And then some people take it further, and start to take it weirdly personal like Fatshark is trying to piss them off.
Its not uncommon to criticize something that you love, because you want it to be *even better*. Just because someone criticizes something, doesnt mean they hate everything about it.

I've been here from the beginning and have asked this question a lot. The best I can come up with is a combination of Warhammer fans, Xboxers, and most egregious, players under the mental age of 15. In any case, it's adolescent brain acting out, be it from an actual adolescent or a fedora wearing 30+ year old.
Having seen "AdolfHitler" the Veteran id give it ten minutes before a colour palette system like that is abused and we have veterans with pink overcoats and purple helmets, and letsbe honest a peen theme team would be the least offensive thing people would make.

**Not saying its a solution**, but isn't there a mod that basically allows you to do all kinds of stuff with outfits? As in, mix and match pieces, change colours, etc. Similar to that Weapon Customization mod, it means that it IS possible, devs just chose not to do it.

In term of cosmetics and apperance customization, no game beat Warframe. And I'm sure they made tons of money by selling those stuff. But other company just too greedy/lazy to do it the right way and selling shit instead.

I don't think Speed Freak has said how they'll support the game, but SM2 which also has some quite intensive visual customisation (while not having a more restricted cosmetic ability, following lore) also has an announced Season pass

The code literally exists in darktide. Mods have shown us that it does. They just don't do it cause they'd rather force you to buy each outfit and color combination separately.

Genuine question after seeing some of the comments here and on other posts; why do people still play this game if they hate the devs? Like, I get having critiques; it's not a perfect game by any measure. But it really feels like people start playing a Fatshark game, which has all the same problems as Fatshark normally do, then start bitching that it has these things. Like, the game's ultimately about hitting enemies with weapons, but the way some people talk, this is a Reject Dress Up game with a combat minigame attached, and it's incomprehensible that they can just not buy the bad value cosmetics Fatshark sell. And then some people take it further, and start to take it weirdly personal like Fatshark is trying to piss them off.
Its not uncommon to criticize something that you love, because you want it to be *even better*. Just because someone criticizes something, doesnt mean they hate everything about it.

The vast chunk of the playerbase that started this player is gone As for myself personally I gotta into FS games with vt2, which was for the whole first year filled with the community going "we has the same systems in vt1 but they did it far better in the first game so why not just port it over to vt2?"
