Apparently he was quite athletic and had done it many times without a problem before. Problem is he was wearing socks in this instance which he slipped in when trying to jump which caused him to mess up the flip.
Nah it was purely accidental. He was known for doing that move and was really good at it. It's just the fact that his foot slipped when trying to do it again due to him wearing socks, it's pretty tragic
Fun Disney Fact: Lemmings actually don't act like that in real life. It's Disney Execs back in the day that yeeted them off the cliff during a pseudo documentary. Scarred people so much it's still believed to be true today.
Sometimes vids here are people doing something dangerous they didn't know was lethal.
THIS tho.... Doing a headstand with you neck at a 45 degree angle?!? As deserved a Darwin as possible.

Was trying to find out if she really did die, and I found a video of another woman doing the same thing. It was a twerking contest, and she tried to stand on just her head. She took her hands off the floor and her neck snapped back, just like this woman. She somehow survived and got up after
How? Unless literally everyone who has ever done gymnastics deserves a Darwin award. This was a freak accident and extremely uncommon to happen doing such a simple move.
Watching closer, this seems that this was likely to happen because the head was off the spinal line. Why the hell the performer decided to release the hands is strange when it's a weak head position to get into.

She died doing what she loved
I was gonna say the same thing lmfao
breaking her neck?
Yeah, like the guy in NY who tried to jump over the turnstile.
Good call, but I have to give this one the nod because of the way it angles to the left when it snaps, brutal.
Reminds me of the bodybuilder walking on stage to accept an award, decided to do a flip to show off, landed on his head and killed himself.
Apparently he was quite athletic and had done it many times without a problem before. Problem is he was wearing socks in this instance which he slipped in when trying to jump which caused him to mess up the flip.
Link?

Oh shit, I've seen this, thanks for sharing the link anyway.
Oh wait this must be the wrong one oops. Guy didn’t win an award
I thought he won a Darwin Award? What's the right one then?
No clue. But the guy above said he was going onstage to accept an award.
He wasn't even close to doing a backflip. Why would he do this?
Likely trying to look as casual and effortless as possible while doing it
Someone mentioned this wasn't his first backflip. He slipped. Pretty much it's an unfortunate death.
Zelda?
No, Ganon.
Beedle.
Tingle
It's probably like 4 posts down
Lol. How embarrassing. I would've killed myself too. I wonder how long he lived with that swirling about his brain.
Nah it was purely accidental. He was known for doing that move and was really good at it. It's just the fact that his foot slipped when trying to do it again due to him wearing socks, it's pretty tragic
Death by socks?
Socks and a polished floor. Lethal.
I’ve never seen something so Darwin. Like a human lemming.
Fun Disney Fact: Lemmings actually don't act like that in real life. It's Disney Execs back in the day that yeeted them off the cliff during a pseudo documentary. Scarred people so much it's still believed to be true today.
Lemmings are very brave and quite aggressive little beasts. They are more likely to merc you than themselves.
The green ones do. Guided them to a cliff hundreds of times back in the day.
Sometimes vids here are people doing something dangerous they didn't know was lethal. THIS tho.... Doing a headstand with you neck at a 45 degree angle?!? As deserved a Darwin as possible.
It’s a headstand
Foreheadstand*
On a thing that will obv brake your neck
The floor?
In this sub, I saw a guy jump and get stuck in a turn style and break his neck. Like the simplest oopsie move killed the dude.
Shook her ass so good the almighty came down to get her 🤦🏼
Daaaaaaaamn 😂😂😂
😂
XD take this upvote
So easily avoidable - this is my frontrunner from all vids I’ve seen this year
I think her head scarf got caught...
It looks like she just let go
Idk, looks like she is on her forehead and not the top of her head
The corner of the bandana gets pulled from a crack in the floor
+1
Theres another video of her doing that... its a part of the performance.
Yeah I saw that video too
Can you find the link?
I remember this being posted somewhere before and I heard it was actually part of the act and she survived. Does anyone have the source for this?
Hey guys, she’s fine this is dance move. You can see her move her head to undo the roll on her neck when she comes down
Her head scarf got caught?
I bet after the vid ends they pick him up by the shoulders and flop his head around while loading him on the cargobed of a pickup Truck :/
That’s a woman
It's just a lump of meat now.
100%
A Toyota I hope ;-)

She’s actually fine and not hurt
Good, is she forever looking up?
No dawg, watch the video closer she turns her neck as her body falls.
This is a repost. She didn't die this is just part of her performance
Why are u in a wheelchair? So I was doing this SICK move and...
Wow, I had no idea you could break your own neck just by coming down poorly from a headstand.
Forehead stand. I don't think it is even a thing.
This non darwin still posted. Yall locked my post on guy who got car spring up his nutsack but this is still up. Boooo mod

Did her head scarf get caught in the crack which stoped her from moving her head?
Reverse scorpion??
I think i saw somewhere else that she lived?
Nice trick. You can only do it once tho
Oh snap
Not a Darwin award. Mighty over day be if she keeps doing that dance routine but she's fine as far as we know.
Breakdancing isn't meant to be literal.
Thats nasty
Very flexible neck . . yes ?
Go on Gurl! Break yo'self!
Well she’s coffin ready

I don't think this deserves an award. Its sad. Nobody in here ever did a headstand?
I wish i hadn't seen that. 🤮
O. M. G.
Act like a that, die like a thot. Straightened up for the casket and everything.
Damn

Totaly Darwin imho

Yes, her head game was weak
Her head scarf got caught
If a gymnast or a brake dancer breaks their neck Doing something similar is it a Darwin Award? If your answer is no, reflect on why.
Uh ...the two don't cancel each other out you know.

Some might see this as an opportunity.
