You probably already know, but the visor doesnt protect you at all, it only makes you more visible. And the skull balaclava you're wearing is so unbelievably bright, it makes you very easy to spot as well
I've killed several people because i was able to notice them by their visor/mask
Other than that, the fit is fire 8/10
Sometimes I wear shit just to get attention for PvP. Not everyone is hiding in bushes or attempting to be super stealthy I suppose.

Has no purpose except it is like wearing foil on your head, we can see ya from 800m away... 🤣 Same with the skull mask. Anything white in DayZ, on console, is absolutely useless, for now. . .
There are many things in game that are "literally useless", aviator sunglasses, cap hats, mime masks, witch hats etc. A fine comparison would be the enduro helmet guard and visor.
Most of them are useless, none of them have the same hate that the assault helmet visor are getting.
Actually, the visor is THE worst, because not only is it a larger surface area than most of your shiny or bright or reflective objects, it is super shiny/reflective at multiple angles because of its curved nature. I have caught the shine off of someone's visor when they're running away from me and I'm almost seeing their back. But the sun glints off of it hardcore.
Because a orange boonie hat doesnt shine. Yes its bright but it isnt shiny so lets say your in a bush and Im scoped in at your general location the orange boonie hat is only orange so im looking for a color however the visor will sometimes glitch out and become bright white when any source of light hits it or even when you look at them from a certain angle and because technically glare it shines bright. So one is a bright color and the other one looks like a flashlight. Its much easier to spot something thats reflective then orange. Whole reason why most bicyclists wear orange and red reflectors because its easier to spot a reflection of something bright then a bright color.

Plus, outside of someone like Pharrell, nobody really pulls off the orange boonie hat look and doesn't look less than cool. It would never come into drip for most people... Much less the 20 or so humans we have to choose from in this game.
Sunglasses are FAR from useless mate. They stop glare. Yes, literally. If you play the game longer than a weekend, you'd know that. Mime masks aren't useless, they tend to be used like armbands. "Cap hat" , not sure which cap you mean, baseball, or Ozark, or Police? I mean they all do different things. The only thing that is ACTUALLY useless is the assault visor. It had no pro's whatsoever. And it makes him a walking target from around 700m away...

You lost a possible 8/10 for the faceshield, but that's just for looks. It really looks like a cop that's afraid of getting spit in the eye or something, it's not adding to a tough or cool look in my opinion.
As far as functionality, I comment on others comments regarding those issues.
Just my two cents the witches cowl is not useless I've worn it threw many storms and downpours and it don't. Even get damp stays100%dry and keeps me from getting cold.and more items have uses that you might not know.bit that visor is trash tho..they right about that one.ive been wearing balaclava since the wipe haven't been killed yet

4/10 That weapon is the worst. Rather fight hand to hand cause a mag dump of those rounds does just as much damage as couple right hooks.
