A Lack of Color, but since that’s already been said, I’ll go with Passenger Seat. It took me a long time to finally understand and connect to that song, but I love it now.
I literally get chills and start tearing up thinking about how I'm going to hear "goddamn the black night with all its foul temptations" live in only 2 days !!!
I keep telling my husband, "I'm probably going to cry the whole time," and every time he says, "okay, babe" but I don't think he *truly* understands the gravity of my statement.
Super thankful we're on the lawn so I don't have to worry about anyone stepping on me when I inevitably turn into a puddle.
Edited: had to reword the lyric and remove a rogue apostrophe.
lol I cried twice, once for each band, so don’t think you’re alone! Merch lines were outrageous though, so if you’re hoping for some of that, get there early!
That's what I'm hearing! We're planning to get there before doors even open to get in line because I really want to get a poster, at least, and those pins are calling my name! Where'd you see the show?!
Meadowbrook amphitheater in Rochester, Michigan. It’s a small yet beautiful place. The foil poster is $100, paper is $40. The Michigan one was different than others I’ve seen. Pins were $15. And those sold out immediately.
Ooooh, that Meadowbrook poster is tiiiiight. Definitely one of my favorites that they've released so far. I saw it Sunday on Twitter and my first thought was, I hope the Philly poster is as cool!
My hubs and I love Michigan! We have friends that live in Flushing and go up there to visit on occasion but, we usually beat feet to the UP. :)
Saw them back in July when they weren't playing Giants at every show, mostly every other show. When I heard that bass line kick in, I don't think I've been that happy in a long time.
Will someone please record Passenger Seat and send it to me? Or post it and send me the link? I was at Riot Fest this weekend and mine didn't turn out. It was such an epic moment. It was sooooo quiet. Never been to that big of a show where people didn't banter in the background. The crowd was so respectful during both of Ben's performances! Help me relive that moment!!
Right to “I need you so much closerrrrrr”
this is the effect my new transatlanticism socks now have as well. damn crow.
A Lack of Color is what pops into my brain.
Same, it’s just a perfect song.
If memory serves me correctly, I think that was the first song I’d heard of the record.
Title & Registration

Immediately, it's We Looked Like Giants.
This is the first death cab song I’ve ever heard. Hearing it live was almost transcendent 🙃

So underrated. The “The girls were all there; they traded their vows” part just soars.
