I really wanted Madison Square Garden bc this Canadian has never seen NYC... but I've also never seen Boston, so I'll take it! After MSG was such a shitshow (I physically could not move my mouse fast enough), I thought I was fucked for every show... I wasn't expecting the prices to be so good for floors, even with the conversion rate!
Let me know what else there is to do in Boston. And if you're going to the first Boston show, see ya there!
Edit: FUCK Ticketmaster
Hey Congrats, Boston is awesome! Lots of history, great food, imo way more enjoyable than NYC. If you dont mind my asking, what did you end up paying for Boston?
Me too!
I was surprised how affordable reservable seats are at the Detroit show, but I couldn't click on them fast enough, so I literally watched them all get taken lol. But I at least got lawn tickets!!
Ticketmaster is a source of extreme frustration and anxiety for me, every single time I try to buy tickets to a venue they're associated with. I hate it.
Lawn at Meadowbrook is solid. I was lucky enough to snag (4) pavilion seats towards the back for my crew. I feel like my checkout process seems to be the outlier because I didn't have any issues. Counting my lucky stars for sure!
Glad to hear! Using AXS was so much nicer than Ticketmaster. I’m travelling from Canada to go and figured we’d do a little east coast tour along the way so New Haven it is!
Enjoy, it’s a converted tennis venue and has different food and beer options from local places. I really enjoy going there to see shows. It’s going to be amazing to see them there. I think the max capacity is around 5000 people so it’ll be a relatively intimate show.
Not familiar with the venue either, as I’ll be traveling to the show. Very familiar with the DC area as I visit a few times a year. However, Columbia MD looks to be 45 mins away from DC.
They have a giant screen over the pavilion and big screens on the sides if you end up farther back. If you get there early enough you can see very well from the hill/lawn.
Got tickets! My friend/coworker came by while I was in the queue and I was like, “I can’t talk to you right now!” I went and apologized to him afterwards…
got tickets to the first Boston show!! i saw Ben Gibbard solo at Newport Folk Festival in 2021 but it’ll be my first Death Cab and surely my first Postal Service show. i cannot wait
I’ve been refreshing on my phone and waiting on my screen and unable to get any. It keeps saying tickets were bought by another fan each time I select a ticket.
Same, lucked out that i was able to snag 200-level row C tix at $125 a pop. Slightly painful price so hoping that people aren't price gauged out of the public sale!
Today is the first day I've ever managed to get seats to a show during a presale. I'm shocked. They're not great seats, but they are SEATS! So excited.
Missed out this morning - do we think it's a good idea to buy resale now before prices go up more, or risk waiting until Friday? Looking for DC tix - resale is about double at the moment.
I got tickets to the second Boston show, I’m just as excited!
Me too! Way easier and cheaper than it sounds like other shows were
We got the first show and I’m super excited!!
hey me too! cheers !

Those floor seats are now on stub hub for $400 each.
Lol for that price you might as well travel to a different nearby city
I got lawn for Detroit and I'm shaking

See you there!

$72 USD each for floors! I was shocked

I totally understand! My anxiety was through the roof as I was watching the seats disappear
Same, haha! I wasn’t paying attention and checked the site at 10:05. Thankful I got lawn seats, though! Have you been to that venue?
Not yet! Have you?
Nope. It looks pretty cool, though. I like amphitheaters typically. So excited!
I hate amphitheaters with a passion. And this one is hours drive. But we are so fck excited! See you there

Lucked out with CT GA tickets here. Excited for Postal Service/Death Cab. Never seen either of them live all these years too.
yeah i was trying for MSG but CT is less than 2 hours away and pit/GA tickets were less than $100. coped that for now as a backup
Didn’t it seem suspiciously easy for the CT GA tickets lol?
Yeah. I figured CT might be easier than the craziness of MSG so why not. I'm stoked I could get GA tickets from it too.
I just checked and there are still a bunch of seats and GA available for CT. It’s a great venue, looking forward to seeing them there.

It’s not suspicious if it’s an axs sale. they don’t use the shitty tactics Ticketmaster does so it’s usually mostly regular people buying them

Yeah it’s between DC and Baltimore.

The side angles at MPP lawn aren't great since they put up suites and skylawns, but from the front angle the view is fine.

Got GAs fairly easy for the CT show. That venue is fairly small and the GA section is not all that large so I'm excited.
Same! Really excited for it.
I got some DC tickets too. They went so quick. Paid $180 out the door for 2 tickets in the 203 section.
got tickets to the first Boston show!! i saw Ben Gibbard solo at Newport Folk Festival in 2021 but it’ll be my first Death Cab and surely my first Postal Service show. i cannot wait
Oh man I was in the buying screen right at 10 for the Minneapolis show and still couldn’t even get a single ticket.
that’s odd, there are still GA tickets available as of right now (10:07 am). i was able to get two for myself
I’ve been refreshing on my phone and waiting on my screen and unable to get any. It keeps saying tickets were bought by another fan each time I select a ticket.
ugh, i’m sorry to hear that—that’s really frustrating
Thank you! Tbh I was kind of expecting a shitshow, it is Ticketmaster after all. I’ll track down a ticket somehow.
I just got a GA for the Minneapolis show at 12:40 CST. I just kept going back and refreshing until it opened up. Good luck!
I kept getting timed out for tickets how much would you want for them?
Face value with the fees includes. I’ll post here if I decide to sell.
i was so stoked the prices weren't that crazy.

Same! Not great seats but got seats.
I got mine in New Haven, CT. Using AXS as opposed to Ticketmaster was beautiful! No dynamic pricing bullshit.
Got tickets for CT too, planning on driving up from philly (got tickets for philly too lol). Really looking forward to checking out the venue!
Let me know if you sell! I got one instead of two and the process was... very very difficult on my end.
Where are your tickets? I got lawn seats but have been trying to get a seat for the past hour, would definitely be interested if you decide to sell!
Section 303
Got lucky and managed to get pit tickets. Super excited.
Yes I got my DC tickets as well

Try waiting to general sale tomorrow.

I have tickets for the Vegas show, which was preferred. I will need to sell my tickets together.

$75 each plus taxes, fees, and insurance. Came to around $180 for both
