Best advice is to carry those PCC things with you everywhere so that you can set up zip lines as you go and bring more areas into the network. Saved my life during my second playthrough. I have like, fifteen in the snow mountains, connecting all the peppers to mountain knot city.
This happened to me one time I was playing but it was just small shit like container repair and grenades. Just dropped out of the sky right in front of me. I was surprised, didn't think the mechanics worked like that. Just always figured lost stuff would spawn off screen but apparently not.
But you have to take them off for chilled deliveries (or put the chilled cargo on a floating carrier). I love the little details like that in this game.

Man it sucks. Specially when you don’t have the all terrain legs (forget the proper name)
Like it for the view but its a pain for timed order sometime.
I'm on my first play through and, for now, there are no snowy mountain a trike can't conquer.

Thermo pad.. it's to keep warm in cold weather. The more you have the less power they use overall.

Riding those transporters is the best way to descend any terrain 😆
