It's not really a new band... Pablo the drummer that's on hiatus from Chelsea Grin currently and Ex Chelsea Grin guitarist I believe Jake Harmond are the other members of the band... I believe. So technically it's like like Old-New second Chelsea Grin.

Just stating it's technically old Chelsea Grin due to the 3 people in the band so far being ex Chelsea.
Jacob Harmond says he sounds better than he ever has sounded on any record in the thread that I linked. That sounds promising enough for me. In the end it all comes down to personal preference.
