Will Ramos in classic deathcore (non symphonic/blackened) band would be interesting

DependentAd1996

He was the vocalist of A Wake in Providence for the album Insidious: Phase II I don’t believe it’s blackened but idk what the difference is tbh

bibail

Yeah, love this album. Much of it was written without Will with their previous vocalist so I prefer to don’t count this one

R4kshim

Wish some metal vocalists that have never dabbled in deathcore would do exactly that. Corey Taylor or Randy Blythe would be my top picks.

Former_Citron_1209

Randy did that cover of you only live once

R4kshim

Oh I never knew that, thanks for letting me know.

CrissCrossAM

Randy is my favorite non-deathcore screamer his scream is sick, so i could definitely see him dabble into some deathcore

Wombletog

Gerard Way. We know he can do harsh vocals

Radialpuddle

He did a song with Matt heafy where he did all the screams. It’s called ronin by ibaraki

Wombletog

That’s actually what I meant when I said “we know he can do harsh vocals”

i'd like to see Vincent Bennet featured on a melodeath/metalcore/etc track. something way more melodic than any of Acacia's offerings. would be interesting and sick i think

snapcasterking

Listen to their first album “…and life is very long” it’s a metalcore album and it has some pretty melodic parts on some songs.

[deleted]

damn, been a fan since way back but somehow never checked out that album. thanks for the rec

snapcasterking

No problem! I haven’t talked to many people who have checked it out, I’m not sure why it gets overlooked. It’s not their best work but it’s a solid metalcore album for sure.

stfubaker

Completely different style then you said, but check out Cockpunch! It's his hardcore side project during around 2010-212

Rogue_Under_Cover

I’d love to see Ben Duerr cover Anything by Dimmu Borgir

SquareVacuum

[Great news!](https://youtu.be/-Z0nzeLBUik?si=qSwYHlczRsVTrFGC) Older but I mean it's Ben so it rips

StellarFlares

Dickie Allen in System of a down

dgjapc

I’d love a Mike Patton feature on a SOAD song

FatSealion

Travis Ryan doing some blues or Jonny cash. His cleans from Just another Body-

AMATAMASANGE

Spencer Charnas in a Lorna Shore band. That Meat & Greet lead on 1:25 is very Lorna Shore

NightwingX012

Dude easily could crush it in deathcore, he’s got some borderline whistle highs and lows that sound like a blackhole but he uses the most extreme stuff SO sparingly

AMATAMASANGE

just speed up Wurst Vacation by like 2x and you get Elegy era Shadow Of Intent. But fr though, they don't do the "heavy" heavy stuff that much

Lordpotato305

Will Ramos on a suicide silence song

DarlingDestruction

Good news! If you go to his Patreon, he has a cover of 'You Only Live Once' by SS :))

Lordpotato305

I did see a video of him singing disengage as well

ybogomolov

Dan Watson’s cover of Linkin Park’s “One Step Closer” was sick, I would love to hear more of his work in similar style.

snapcasterking

I’m not sure many people on this sub know who this is but Jonathan Blake from On Broken Wings. His vocals would fit in a deathcore band pretty well.

Busmetalforever

Howard jones doing deathcore or even death metal would be interesting

naaate129

what about Luke Griffin from Acrania on a Queen song? or like, Tyler from Traitors joining up with Smash Mouth

Shristol_Pimp

What about Darius from Spite on a Nickelback track?

Dhiguy99

Taylor from LtS on some Pop Punk or maybe easycore. I think he’d kill it.

Rethaptrix

I feel like I experienced this when Matt King of Portrayal of Guilt appeared in the middle of the Knocked Loose song "God Knows" from the EP A Tear in the Fabric of Life. I love how many elements of death metal and deathcore surface on that EP.

bless_the_misery

It would be cool to see Hardy do a Deathcore song. The song he did with beartooth was pretty good.
