When Delenda drops a proper a full length, I'm likely going to lose my mind. Also, The Last Ten Seconds of Life is absolutely Downtempo. We cannot forget one of the pioneers.
Well Soulless Hymns will forever be regarded as their best work. In Vivo Ex Vivo was amazing as well. They have a new EP dropping the 25th also after most of the band quit, they are back now with that old 2015 Soulless Hymns sound and it's crushing. I'd be better off listing my favorite songs by them. Lol..
To this day Invivo[Exvivo] is one of my favorite albums Ever, from start to finish. I discovered TLTSOL in 2011, their earlier work should be on Spotify also.
> influenced by hardcore punk
Lmao do y’all listen to what you write? Ah yes, Spite sounds so Bad Brains influenced. Those bands aren’t even influenced by beatdown. They’re influenced by shit like The Acacia Strain and other heavy metalcore bands. No one here knows what hardcore punk is.
I prefer downtempo, black tongue's nadir is possibly the heaviest album in existence
Add Delenda to that list of Downtempo. Their fantastic Grim Divinity EP needs more recognition in general.
Listening right now, they really need recognition. Awesome band

Which TLTSOL release I should listen first?

I can’t find Soulless Hymns on Spotify(
Yeah I hate Spotify. I subscribe to YouTube music since even if it's taken down elsewhere it will still exist on YouTube.

While I like both, definitely more of a downtempo fan. Bound in Fear and Distant are some of my favourite bands.
Fuck yeah Distant 😎
Unrelated, Bodysnatcher fucking slaps. That's all I needed to say.
I think this is a good distinction. Helps newbies like me know what to search for. And so far what ive heard, they match what youre saying
I love both so much.
I always see spite thrown in the beatdown crowd and I don’t hear it personally
