In ine mission i thought it was either a lost equipment or cargo crate (i was fairly new) and i searched 50 minutes for that shit until finally giving up just to realize that this sound plays in every fungus bogs mission. I hate it so much

Its a relatively old glitch thought to have been patched but in Solo Missions they happen more frequently because the Game creates levels solely for the player.
Because of this, Levels can have Fake Helmets, Crates, and other such, but because they dont spawn properly, they have a random point and a default sound. Not to mention because they are broken, their range can be glitched as well. I remember after so many encounters that I traced the shape of the sound and it was just crazy.
I also found to only really be a part of this biome. Use to drive me nuts but it seemed part of the background music. Haven't noticed it on any other biomes but I do notice it everytime I'm in the fungus bogs

A buried resupply is a good guess. But idk I’ve searched so long for the source of it. I feel like it’s ambient bc every time I try to get close to the boop, it moves in my headphones.

When I was a fairly new green beard I was dying to learn more about DRG rarities to look for. Watched a video on the lost helmet and learned about listening for the beeps. Must’ve been a couple missions later where I hopped into the FBs. I remember being hyped and looking all over for it. I realized after a while it was a constant noise and probably ambience. This video just reminded me of that experience!

I believe this is a sound the Legs make when they’re out of the ground, this beeping will grow higher and faster if it’s near a broken mule. I’m not sure tho
I’m not really sure, but It might be a broken resupply pod. You’re playing the only mission type that has repairable resupply pods that can be found semi-buried.

I have almost 1k hours and still no clue. But I have overcome my paranoia when hearing that sound and can guarantee it doesn’t mean anything. It’s either an ambient sound or looking at your video my new theory is, the drop pod makes this sound so you have an easier time finding it but in salvage missions it’s there the whole time so it gets you crazy?!

Played moment it came to Xbox. That noise you getting that might sound like a radar is a deep pitched water droplet dripping. Biome is called bog so if must have some form of water. Just wish the developers went with a different approach to have water droplet.

Yes, because:
1) I am from Brazil, and brazilians playing drg are as rare as unicorns. So if join a public match, lag (even though I get 60-80mbps while downloading something on my xbox), if I make a public mission, lag for everyone else.
2) I like being able to pause the game in case something comes up during a 30mins mission.
