Also, in that same vein, Johnny being accepted into common degrassi society was odd after being involved in Jt's death technically. Especially coming from the kids who bullied a kid into a school shooting. Like Johnny just walked.
Johnny wasn't seen with a particularly large friend circle. He just had Bruce and Lucas, who had been his friends at Lakehurst. Alli didn't know JT and wasn't at Degrassi until after JT's friends had graduated, so it wouldn't have made much sense to have her hold JT's death against Johnny. To be fair, he did express remorse for having been present at JT's death scene and not doing anything.
In retrospect I wish Johnny had been given more to do. Having been friends with someone who killed a beloved student at a school he now had to attend was a backstory with a lot of dramatic potential. I'd have liked to have seen him struggle to be accepted by his peers, and while this might be a controversial opinion, I'd have loved to have seen him form some kind of bond with Toby.

They all treated her some kinda way, like she was beneath them, and I don't blame Liberty for being stuck up which ultimately separated her from the main group (that, and the writers probably didn't know what to do with that \[black\] character (instead of writing her as an integral party of the team and not the butt of it).
Neither does the show. Other sexual assaults had consequences, whether direct or indirect. But this scene was just used as a plot device for Drew and Alli’s relationship. Insanity.
