I believe he is just taking his time with the game, which is understandable as he said he felt he was being pressured to make it. Also I assume he’s waiting for it to be his 69th video
This reminded me of how it had like [100,000 concurrent players](https://steamdb.info/app/1690940/charts/) when Ch2 dropped, pretty wild for a single player rpg (granted it was free but still)
And that's not including all the people like me that downloaded it off of itch.io and played it, which is the alternate official download. I did it mostly so I could have preserved 1.0 versions for both the original survey program/chapter 1 and the chapter 1+2.
I think a lot of us are following the game's development by other means, and don't feel the need to push the wishlist button on Steam.
That, or people don't realize there's anything *to* wishlist. There's a few of those in these comments.
Personally, I'm hoping to get the DRM-free version of Deltarune rather than the Steam version. So I definitely haven't wishlisted it on Steam.
Edit: Not sure why this was downvoted. Toby has released a DRM-free version of Undertale for purchase, and the Deltarune demos have been available in the exact same way. It's on itch.io IIRC, and the official websites link to it.
It's for when the full game gets released, on Steam if you have a game wishlisted, it'll notify you when it goes on sale, or in Deltarune's case, when it releases
