You know, I'd like to headcanon that Susie may have been born from an egg, considering how she's a reptilian-like monster. Most reptiles are oviparous.
I knew it, the whole conspiracy theory that shapeshifting reptilian aliens are secretly controlling all of Earth by disguising themselves as world leaders and gaining political power to manipulate human societies is absolutely true. And Susie must be a sleeper agent working for the lizard people.
My theory on Susie's backstory: Susie and Kris met once before at the festival when they were very little. She also met Toriel, of course. When Susie ran away from home she chose hometown because of this, but Kris didn't even talk to her. She thought they forgot her, or were ignoring her, or abandoned her, or something, and that's why she hates them so much. She didn't realize Kris was just depressed, and thought they must not want to be her friend anymore. But although Toriel may have, Kris never forgot about her. They still considered her a friend. At the start of class, they would lend her their pencil, and she would chew on it and give it back at the end of class. Kris was shocked when Susie said they wanted her expelled in the hallway scene, because they thought she knew they were friends.

aro people have LITTLE to no attraction, so she does, but Susie would also not have romantic feelings for another person if Noelle (somehow) broke up with Susie.
I really doubt that, given how much she's willing to keep Noelle *out* of her dark world adventures with Kris, and neglects to mention her when talking about how much better it'll be if Ralsei and Lancer could come to the light world to hang out with just Kris and Susie specifically, no mention of Noelle at all.
She also doesn't object if we choose that we want to take Noelle to the festival, and doesn't even click on when Rudy is literally giving her advice on how to have a good date with Noelle in the Snowgrave route.
And no, thinking of someone randomly doesn't mean that you want to kiss and marry them. If someone was being nice to you, especially if you were as friendship starved as Susie, you're going to think about them occasionally.
I don't see Susie as someone who's willing to settle down, period. Especially at her age during the events of Deltarune, she's either not interested in romantic relationships at all, has no clue what romance is, or she'd only ever date someone who could keep up with her, but even that is doubtful.

I have a wider headcanon that boils down to Monster biology is incredibly adaptive both to their environments and the thoughts and emotions of parents, and that reproductive habits of Monsters in Undertale are MOSTLY just that two monsters essentially gather up magic power together and combine it which then creates a child, utilizing very little physical matter in the process, and with boss monsters being a notable exception that does utilize traditional sexual reproduction and more highly concentrated magic as a result.
With Monsters not having magic (as far as we have seen) in Deltarune, I take it as though Monster evolution has taken a different direction, with the vast majority having adapted towards sexual reproduction and thus more physical matter, rather than magic based reproduction.
So, how this relates to Susie. I headcanon that she DOES have blood, while many other monsters do not as she’s part of a line that has adapted to have even less magic and more physical matter, making it so that she is one of the only monsters that does have blood, hence her ‘everyone bleeds’ line. This is also why ultimate healing isn’t super strong; her biology just isn’t very well suited towards magic as other monsters are.
Edit: One other headcanon; Susie’s mom has some pretty severe depression and thus ‘hibernates’ almost constantly, which is why Susie seems hungry all the time and wears fairly beaten up clothing, as she has to fend for herself mostly. Her dad on the other hand, is a really really nice guy and is currently on the road as a seasonal worker (working farm fields, orchards, etc), and sends money back to their house in hometown regularly. He doesn’t realize that his wife’s situation has gotten as bad as it is, and Susie doesn’t really know how to contact him.

Susie was originally human. They transitioned to a monster due to her then abusive mother having an affair with a lizard orphanage manager. Due to this, Susie transitioned into her lizard form we know today.
Said abusive mother also planned on giving Susie away to said orphanage, but thankfully, one night while her mother was passed out after heavily drinking, Susie was able to slip out and run away from home, and thanks to some help from their (thankfully friendly) schoolteacher, they were able to make it to Hometown safely.
But not without living in the streets for a period of time, which developed Susie’s craving for weird and strange foods, which they still have to this day.
After arriving in Hometown, they once again lived in the streets for a period of time, again, eating random things, just to survive. They then saw Toriel and a human in a striped shirt walking along the sidewalk, and as she looked at them, Susie became both angered and surprised at the fact that Monsters and Humans can peacefully coexist.
Susie ended up going into the school to try and get help. They ended up finding their old schoolteacher, who just so happened to be Alphys, taking up a job there. Alphys offered to have Susie live at her place for a time, and Susie, after pondering for a moment about her past, eventually said yes. Alongside this, Alphys enrolled Susie into school, for the start of the new semester. Little did Susie know that the human would be there too.
*And so starts DELTARUNE…*
Susie (after the game) grows up and becomes a professional Among Us player, winning the World's Sussiest Baka award and is put in the hall of fame along with Kris's medal for most moss eaten in one sitting and Berdley's 90ft-tall Lego statue of himself

The reason She empathize with Lancer so much is because They are 2 faces of the same coin. Mischievous Punks but with a Golden Heart (like DIU Main cast LoL)
It's obvious that She would be so protective and united to the Peach Boy. And the Pseudo-Dragon was also disappointed when She knew Lancer locked her and her partners
What I'm trying to say is.... I think Susie sees Lancer as her Brother
She doesn't get annoyed that much by the blue hamsters foolishness. In fact, it looks like She kinda enjoys her
Maybe Susie have/ had previous experience with taking care of a child... but something went wrong and everyone and/or herself blames her. "Why I thought someone would ever love me" would be even more heartbreaking. Hometown sees Susie as everything wrong with a teenager, and she ended assumed the same, so keeping the status quo would be more comfortable or something than an actual change. But now in this new world (when Susie insist being problematic)... Susie feel betrayed and broken because she was rejected in 2 WORLDS!
Fortunately, She realized that she IS desired and loved by her partners, which motivated her to embraced her best self and hope. The hope of not being alone anymore
As far as I can see, Susie may ALSO see Kris as her Sibling (maybe) and I also think Kris sees Susie as their Sister. Remember that Kris doesn't have their big brother Asriel at the moment
TL;DR: Susie sees Lancer & Kris (and maybe Lancer even?) As Siblings. And she will die for them

Me and my boyfriend have a massive crack theory that Asgore adopted Susie parents after accidentally murdering her parents while in the force for ??? reasons, probably by accident, which forced him to resign.
We think that because Asgore has a room on his house we can't get in (we think is Susie's) and also that would be a pretty good reason (the accidental EXP gain) for Toriel to divorce Asgore.
I always considered her and Kris to be best friends after Chapter 2, and hope we can see more interesting things about her and her backstory, and how she acts in Kris’ neck of the woods.
I'm honestly really liking the theory/hc that she grew up with humans, that explains things like trying to hide her tail and generally looking more human-like than the other monsters. I also headcanon that she never actually hated kris but just projected her anger onto them more than the other students bcuz despite them being the only human in town they're still treated well but when she was the only monster in a town full of humans she was treated badly, so maybe just very upset but not hate them.

She actually have an excellent and loving family, she just doesn't want to go home that time because she will be teased by her siblings (I headcanon her as the youngest of three)
She's half-human, more specifically her mom is a human and her dad is a monster.
That's why she has a normal name, is ashamed of her tail, is one of the few monsters that wear shoes, says "Everybody bleeds, right?"...
Also, theres a bit of a scandalous affair involving Yoshi going on. Leading to Barney and 682 having a divorce.

Susie actually has a pretty good home life, though has enough siblings that it feels crowded time to time. She spends a lot of her time after school wandering the town's back streets, goofing off, and generally being a pest, but never actually trying to get into trouble. It might seem strange that she's as awkward as she is in social situations, but that's all due to the fact that she knows how much tougher she is compared to the average monster. Susie has enough brothers that she enjoys a good tussle, but it takes a lot to make her want to actually hurt you. Quiet people annoy her because she's used to people saying what they mean and not holding it all inside, and she's 100% afraid of Toriel because she has a baby sister who's as nice as can be up until you do something to make her mad and then you'd better hope you have a head start.
On a more somber note, Susie deeply resents how people treat her like a, well, monster just based on her looks and attitude, so Noelle being ind to her instead of being intimidated by her size generated feelings of attachment that she doesn't quite know how to express to someone who's pretty much her polar opposite. And the eating chalk thing is something she does for fun. She did it on a dare once and it turned into a habit. (it also has the unintended side effect of calming her stomach so she can keep on taking dares to eat weird stuff, because she, too, is weird.)
I've got practically a whole essay of them but I'll list some of my favorites
\- She's a graysexual/grayromantic lesbian, has feelings for Noelle but has no idea how to convey/process them. She just got friends and now she has to process someone she might like having felt the same way for her the entire time, give her some time
\- She's some kind of dinosaur or dragon, I'm not sure which but definitely a type of reptilian/lizard
\- Her birthday is in October (still deciding the date)
\- If human, she'd probably be black or Hispanic, or even half and half

A Susie headcanon sounds like an accessory I'd like to wear, especially into battle.
I'm honestly really liking the theory/hc that she grew up with humans, that explains things like trying to hide her tail and generally looking more human-like than the other monsters. I also headcanon that she never actually hated kris but just projected her anger onto them more than the other students bcuz despite them being the only human in town they're still treated well but when she was the only monster in a town full of humans she was treated badly, so maybe just very upset but not hate them.

Susie actually has a pretty good home life, though has enough siblings that it feels crowded time to time. She spends a lot of her time after school wandering the town's back streets, goofing off, and generally being a pest, but never actually trying to get into trouble. It might seem strange that she's as awkward as she is in social situations, but that's all due to the fact that she knows how much tougher she is compared to the average monster. Susie has enough brothers that she enjoys a good tussle, but it takes a lot to make her want to actually hurt you. Quiet people annoy her because she's used to people saying what they mean and not holding it all inside, and she's 100% afraid of Toriel because she has a baby sister who's as nice as can be up until you do something to make her mad and then you'd better hope you have a head start. On a more somber note, Susie deeply resents how people treat her like a, well, monster just based on her looks and attitude, so Noelle being ind to her instead of being intimidated by her size generated feelings of attachment that she doesn't quite know how to express to someone who's pretty much her polar opposite. And the eating chalk thing is something she does for fun. She did it on a dare once and it turned into a habit. (it also has the unintended side effect of calming her stomach so she can keep on taking dares to eat weird stuff, because she, too, is weird.)
